We recently bought a townhouse and was going to be vacating our unit at the end of the month. On cleaning day, I left the keys and Oahu Professionals went to work and oh boy, did they go to work. They did a phenomenal job, they got into all the nooks, crannies, and everything else in between. They pay very close attention to the details and you can tell they take lots of pride in their work. I Do NOT recommend this cleaning company. They are not professional cleaners. The quality of their work is very, very poor of what they charged. They left my carpet soaked and wet and had to re hire a professional carpet cleaner to extract the liquids in my carpet. Also, their shoe stains was not been removed. Very disappointing from get go. Young crew lacked professionalism, didn't ask permission to keep shoes on (hello this is Hawaii)-at least wear shoe covers which could be removed when they go back outside. I provided verbal and written list for them. As they swept/mopped their way out the door, I was asked to "check everything." I did a cursory check but after they left found that baseboards were not cleaned, they missed an entire section, didn't do the ceiling fans, dropped a window screen panel, put the window in backwards, did not clean other windows because "I can't reach them". After I found the issues, I called the office and left a message via voice mail. I also sent an email. No response from them, took me to reach out again by phone The person I spoke to said "when he asked you if it was all done, you said ok." He asked if I wanted them to come back... I said I already took care of the cleaning but they need to come back and fix the window...response "so you do want them to come back?" Aiya. POOR SERVICE, POOR SERVICE RECOVERY. DO NOT HIRE THIS CLEANING COMPANY. This cleaning company is far from professional! Two guys (they were nice) came to work on my house 2 hours late. The owner Andrew then came later (I asked him yesterday if he could help with vertical blinds installation and he said yes) but he said that putting on the panels is going to be a hassle & that I would need to help him. I said ok I'll do the panels on my own and help him out. While I was helping him w/ the blinds, he was calling me gorgeous and asking me where my bf was. Totally inappropriate. I also asked to help get adhesive off my windows and he said "ughh that's going to be hard -- I have to bring my heated gun and xyz". So I was like ok never mind. That should've been the red flag and it was my fault for hiring them. * they came 2 hours late & then complained about working late * complained about CLEANING MY HOUSE * complained about helping me install vertical blinds when we already discussed it the day before * forgot to clean my living room AC and didn't come back to clean it * for a company that specializes in a move out cleaning service, I figured the owner would know what it takes to pass inspection but he didn't clean under the fridge, left cob webs, dirt & hair, and didn't clean in closet * felt as though it was inappropriate as a client that the owner was calling me "gorgeous" & asking where my bf was * I spent $856. he refuses to give me a refund because "that's just not what he does" I didn't pass inspection because the house was STILL SO DIRTY & now I have to pay more money for another cleaning service. I wasn't going to write a review but I feel its necessary to warn others as I found this service through yelp and trusted the 5 star rating. This was one of the worse experiences we've ever had. I called Andrew for a move out and carpet cleaning of a 4 bedroom home. He was seemed professional and quoted $450 for the work. He was on the pricier side from other quotes but I am a true believer of you get what you pay for so I booked him. Plus he was available in 2 days and no one else was. That should've been the first sign He arrived on time with 1 other gentlemen. I had to run out and do some errands while he worked. About 30 minutes in, he called and said that it would have to be $500 due to the work load. Really having no choice at that point I agreed. About 4 hours later he said he was done. I came back and he was already standing by his car waiting to leave so I didn't have time to check the work. Trusting it was fine, I paid him and he left. THE HOUSE WAS FILTHY! My landlord came on a Wednesday to check and wouldn't sign off on the home being clean. I sent Andrew tons of photos showing the poor work. He was apologetic although also annoyingly stating "just a minor oversite" and said he would come back to do a touch-up the following Monday. This meant I had to pay the landlord an additional 5 days of rent .. $500! When he came back, I didn't want to deal with him nor did I have time so I sent my husband. Andrew was shown all the poorly cleaned areas and insisted it should only take an hour. After 3 hours, my husband returned and many items still were not cleaned. Corners, top shelves, etc. Andrew proceeded to say he'd already spent 8 hours on this house and had to leave. That's $62 / hr for a cleaning job! I know people with Master degree's in business that don't make that much an hour! Then the final straw .... Andrew accused my husband of being picky to get our money back just because he's haole and that's what local people do. What?? We just wanted what we paid for .. a clean house. I would not recommend or use this company again!! Get a quote in person and in writing. Be there for cleaning the entire time. Full move out clean they took stuff that was left for the new tenant, basic stuff laundry soap, trash bags, a scale, dog pee pads, batteries, lighters, wall surge protectors. (Update now thinking back to what was there they also stole a brand new French press and the coffee) Also our internet was unplugged when they got there so our camera had no recording of them. When I confronted the owner it became a battle of he said she said and he need proof. They threw away all the actually trash in our own trash can and took everything they wanted in their car. We had to dig in our trash can to verify things were taken. Also he said a full clean out means they get rid of everything, they took the laundry soap but left the drier sheets so it was intentional. The owner showed up after the workers and already been there an hour and said he saw none of the items we described. Very unprofessional telling us we needed a remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms, used our own bottle of bleach to clean( which I know from digging through the trash bag.) The bleach was used on the cabinets which left streaks on the wood parts. I had messaged the day before and asked for the very few items to be left in the fridge and all of it was thrown out when we arrived, so that wasn't communicated to his employees. Also made comments about our house being extremely dirty when we know it wasn't, we personally had cleaned the baseboards and all the windows and screens ourselves. Removing one bag of trash, dust and normal dirt isn't extreme. Bottom line just avoid them and they headache they caused on an easy clean. read more

***EDIT: after posting this review I found a lot of others with the same complaints that they really do a bad job cleaning, so it seems I am not alone. I wish I had found those before hiring them I hired them to do a deep clean of my one story unit. Over the phone I explained I wanted a deep clean, biggest priorities were floors and bathrooms being deep cleaned. I was given a quote of $250, he said they didn't do jobs less than that. Day of they came and spent less than 3 hours at my house, arrived at 9 AM and paid by 11:17 AM. I asked them what they usually provided for services, and they said they had never done a house with people in it before, only move out cleans. I explained that I wanted all the floors and bathrooms deep cleaned, mirrors cleaned, dusting. This is all what has always been included when I have a professional cleaner "deep clean" my home, and what I told them when I asked for a quote. They ended up charging me $418 because they said I "wanted it all." I wasn't happy but I paid. After they left I kept discovering areas that still looked dirty...one of the toilets had hair on the seat, my bedroom floor had visible grime, and the bathrooms sinks did not look scrubbed. The only extra item I can think of, above the deep cleaning I requested when originally quoted, was they cleaned my screens for me, which was great. I do not consider dusting and cleaning mirrors as "extra" for a deep clean. On the price sheet they marked off items like fridge when they really must have just wiped down the outside. Also the oven, wiped it down inside - every other deep clean I have hired someone to do they actually clean it. I wouldn't recommend based on quote, price but also I just wasn't happy with the level of grime still in my house. It just felt like a shoddy job for the price and some of the comments about what they cleaned made me wonder how much experience they have in this business. We asked them for moving out first and then after a week we requested move out cleaning and carpet cleaning. They are pretty reasonable yet very professional. Most movers charge by hours so I was uncertain about the final cost but he gave me a flat rate. Andrew was really accommodating even though I requested in the last minute. That's why I chose them. With moving out, Andrew and his team helped us dissemble and assemble bed frame and crib with no extra charge from the rate they gave us in the beginning and everything went smooth. I'm also very happy with how they cleaned our unit where we lived for 2 yrs. They did the entire unit without missing any small detail. I would definitely ask them for cleaning again! read more

We called up "OP" to do a move out cleaning of a unit that was lived in for just over a decade. I have to say that they excelled in their job of cleaning the place up. The did a great job cleaning the jalousie windows, carpet cleaning the bedroom, cleaning the refrigerator, and a full top-to-bottom cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom. Just to note, the property manager was thrilled with the cleaning job that was done. If you're moving... give these guys a call. Very disappointed. Oahu Professional Cleaning is the company with deceptive business prescribe. They've tried to re-negotiate the price we previously agreed to. Argument was - windows are too dirty (not true), need $25 more. Why? I've sent you guys detailed photos before we agreed with the price. Are you normally cleaning clean only windows?! What's the point to call Oahu Professional Cleaning if my windows are clean?! And finally $25 seems like an appropriate price for the last moment weekend cancellation and keeping a customer hanging. I needed a last minute move out clean and they had availability, but I would have been better off doing it myself. They charged an outrageous $650 to clean a (mostly clean) 2bd 1ba condo (1-1.5 hrs of work). When they walked in, there was two women who immediately walked in and just started chatting and talking loudly without even introducing themselves or saying who they were. They then went to use the bathroom and I could hear them loudly banging on the door as they were playing around and yelling at each other. When they were done, I found dirt sprayed in two of the closet floors, they didn't clean any of the cabinets, crud on the kitchen floor, and underneath the kitchen sink was filthy and hadn't even been touched. I had to spend 30+ minutes just inspecting and having them clean it. When paying, they completely ignored me for a good 5 minutes as they were already talking about their next job. I needed a move-out deep clean last minute and they were able to accommodate me. They were very friendly and gave me an estimate of $450 and came the next day. The guy who did the walk through didn't know the price I talked about with the other person on the phone. I was honest and said $450. After about 2 1/2 hours, they called me to come back for a quick walk through. They were still working in the kitchen and living room. As we walked through he said they were going to take another 30 minutes to finish the kitchen and the ceiling fans. I had to leave for the rest of the day so I signed the paperwork and paid them but realized really quickly I shouldn't have. My landlord called and said they left immediately, not even finishing the job. They had left some of their supplies too. There spiderwebs on windows, unopened cabinets, fans weren't even wiped properly like he said they would. The bathtub and doors looked exactly the same as after I cleaned it. I didn't ask for a refund, but I did notify Andrew of feedback via text. He never responded, as I guess, what could he do about it at this point? I hired this company to help me pick out items at Helping Hands HawaiI . While there picking out donations, I found these movers very unprofessional. Andrew was constantly on his telephone and because of this many items for my family were left off the truck. They also closed the truck and would not allow me to check inside, if they would have done that I would have caught there mistakes. My children now have no bed or television. I am very disappointed in this so called professional business. When I went back the next morning, helping hands stated that they witnessed the movers loading the television onto the truck. This company cleaned out our rental unit and while doing so broke the corner kitchen cabinet hinges. The cabinet was crooked afterwards and wouldn't even close. We saw them fiddling with the cabinet for a while and they used a screwdriver for something. When we later called to ask them to come make it right, they gave excuses over and over and tried to tell us over and over again there was only one screw holding up the cabinet as I was staring at all the many screws there. I asked, then where did all the screws here come from? When I asked them to make it right by either fixing it or paying the bill to have someone fix it, they begrudgingly said I guess I can come take a look at it later this week. I asked for a specific date/time instead of just a "someday." That's when he tried to say I had an attitude! I said, me?! You are trying to deny accountability for breaking our property when it was without a shadow of a doubt, your fault! Then he hung up on me after saying "I'm not going to deal with this. I needed a professional cleaning to move out of my apartment and this company had the most reasonable price for the amount of cleaning that needed to be done. Some companies were quoting me upwards of $350 for a one bed/one bath apartment, which was absurd to me. This company was able to quote me $150-$200 and Andrew assured me that he would look at the apartment first before giving me an official price. Andrew responded to me right away and answered all of my questions. On the actual day of the cleaning, Andrew called to let me know they would be late and asked if they could come the next day. I let him know that wouldn't work for me, so he made sure they came to finish the job. They were done in an hour and did a great job getting all the cleaning done. Very nice and professional workers, even though I know they were exhausted from their previous job that ran late. I hired this company to clean my condo and steam clean my carpets so I could put it up for rent. The prices were decent, however, the quality of work was very poor. They came while I was at work and luckily my partner was able to come and inspect before they left. The carpets were "clean" by their standards and the oven still had grease stains. I received a picture of their finished product before they left and needed to ask them to clean the carpets and oven further. You get what you pay for. They did a good job. Our house was a wreck before. They just forgot the microwave or maybe that wasn't included. Everything else looks good and be wary of the travel fee they don't include that in the estimate but it's only like $20 out to Ewa Beach. I used this company as I found their card in the new apartment I had just moved into and I still needed to have a move-out cleaning of my old unit. When I moved into my new unit I noticed a few things that had been missed (baseboards, hand grime on commonly touched door frames) but I just let it slide. This should have been my first sign to use a different company. I'm not sure if this company is the same company that cleaned the floors as well, but assuming it is, they completely destroyed the tile floors by lifting the clear coat off of the tiles, but rather than stopping when they noticed, they continued to do the whole unit leaving the floors looking permanently dirty (seriously it's terrible). I was also generally unimpressed by the cleaning of my old unit as well. During the walkthrough with my landlord, he found many things that had been missed and he told me I should ask for a portion of my money back. Even after spending nearly $400 for a "professional" cleaning service, I still had to get on my hands and knees and scrub my shower, clean behind the toilets and under the fridge, wipe down all the baseboards, light switches, and hand grime off commonly touched places. The exterior of my cabinets also needed to be recleaned as well as a few walls, and they only cleaned one side of my window tracks (they didn't slide them to get the other side). They also did not put all the window screens back after cleaning them but left some on the ground. To throw a cherry on top of this experience, they showed up about 45 minutes late then preceded to ask for my friend's phone number. So, 10/10 do NOT recommend this service, unless you want to come behind them to do it correctly. read more
