As a vacation rental owner, were initially impressed with their sales pitch. Jason promised that as long as we provided pictures with explicit details, they would use a binder, prepared specifically for our property to go room by room and leave the property exactly the way we asked, to include any details that we wanted like watering our plants and checking the internet service each time as a final check. None of this ever never happened and we had to constantly remind them to do things the way that we had asked. There was one instance where the cleaning and staging were so bad, that we had to bring in a 2nd cleaner who worked alongside me to set things up the correct way, all within a very short window between guests. I eventually discovered that "VacayClean" does not actually do any of the work. They only subcontract other cleaners from other cleaning companies to come in and do the work for them! This realization explained why it was actually "MaidinOahu" doing the work when we called. "MaidnOahu" gave us a very professional response and a full refund for this day, which we were thoroughly pleased with. We agreed to continue to work with them after they agreed that they had not held up their end of the deal. Then, when we contacted VacayClean to book the next quarter's cleanings, we were told that they had no availability. We felt that this was obvious retaliation since their subcontracted cleaners had eaten the costs, leaving us without a vetted cleaning service for our upcoming bookings. This was perhaps the most unprofessional aspect of this entire experience. Overall, the first couple of cleanings were good, but none of the stagings that we had agreed upon were. Eventually, and with constant coaching, they came closer to the standard that they themselves had promised, but it was still nothing like the quality and reliability we had been promised by an extremely convincing sales pitch. Summary: There are an infinite number of good cleaning services in Waikiki. VacayClean is not one of these services since they are a cleaning service booking agency. We did not receive the services promised. I do not understand any of these 5 star comments, perhaps they are employees or friends since this was absolutely not the same experience that we had. read more

Love them! Jason and his team, Fallon and Kehau, are amazing professionals in the business. They have clear communication, attentive customer service, with impeccable attention to details, and are extremely responsive. We have used their deep cleaning and recurring services twice so far for a 4bdrm/2bthrm home, and already have booked again for upcoming cleanings. Jason is extremely responsive, and he even made suggestions on what home items we could use to save on costs in the long run, e.g. sturdy stone bath "rugs" that we can replace our white cotton ones with since ours get frayed and require constant cleaning, Citrus Magic Fallon showed us areas of the house that the last cleaner completely missed, e.g. parts of the stove under the burner grate, around the stove knobs, etc, and it was lovely to converse with them to learn some of their cleaning secrets/products. They are easy to work with and so far other reviews echo the same sentiments. We learned that they also do outdoor power washing services for the outside of the home, which we plan to do sometime soon. They can even do some outdoor cleaning if we need those services. I have used MaidinOahu numerous times over the past years and was very pleased with their service. This was the first time I had used VacayClean. Most everything was attended to. There was supposed to be another person coming to help that got delayed, but at the end of the day, we went through every room and they were attentive to my requests. I was planning on hiring VacayClean after reading the good reviews here. Shortly after filling out the contact form of their webpage I received a call and the lady on the other end asked me all sorts of questions about my property. Sounded very professional and I was confident I reached out to a company that would provide me with the service I was looking for. We agreed on the phone that someone would get in touch with me the same day and come by to evaluate my property in order to provide me with an estimate about the costs. Nobody called. The next day I reached out again and I was told somebody would give me a call to set up an appointment. I'm still waiting. read more

We just changed cleaners to VacayClean and are totally impressed! Although the owners and workers that we met so far are on the younger side, they are very organized and passionate about their job. Quality control is build into their company with a manager assigned to check in to make sure all is going well and to help if needed. They take the time to put together a printed booklet with pictures and a checklist of what needs to be done for each property. Our team cleaned every "nook and cranny" and polished every window in our large 3 bedroom, 3 bath home. Being a first clean, the crew worked extra to get everything in pristine condition. Love this local business and the service they continue to provide. My Wife and I needed a cleaning service for our rental unit. We requested a quote and they were able to come out the next day and offer us a cleaning at a flat rate. We travel quite a bit, so knowing we have a trusted company handling our rental unit is comforting. They even re stock sheets, towels, and paper supplies when low. They were the quickest to respond out of all the local companies I inquired with and the price they quoted was well worth the professional cleaning and resort quality staging that was performed.
