Sooooo, I Airbnb my place and some very small stains have appeared on my lime green couch. My cleaners tried many approaches to try and get them out. Then I spilled an entire beer on it! I was in contact with a few companies but Ohana extraction was quick to respond but most of all courteous and friendly. They had availability as soon as I needed it and I made the appointment. Marcus arrived promptly and had all of his equipment on a very nice neat looking cart that fit into my elevator. I made myself busy organizing my closet and gave him the space needed. The machine makes a little bit of noise but not enough to aggravate me or my neighbors. In under 3 hours my couch looked like it was brand new again! He used a protectant to coat the couch so next time there are spills it won't be so affected. I would like to commend Marcus on his hard work. My apartment has ceiling fans and no AC. I called on a Wednesday and we spoke over the phone about the pet accidents that I wanted to be steam cleaned and deodorized. Marcus asked me a few questions to determine the layout of the space (at the top of the stairs there's a hallway leading to the master, etc.), and quoted me a price over the phone based on that description. He was able to come over on Friday, just two days after my initial call! Great turn-around time! Marcus graciously called me prior to his arrival and then again when he arrived. I appreciated the communication. He politely removed his slippers prior to entering my home, and began his work just after 9am, and by 12 he was all packed-up, including cleaning up after himself and his equipment. He utilized multiple sinks along the way and wiped down everything - wouldn't even know he was here! He did my master bedroom (kindly worked around my furniture), long hallway and the stairs. After a series of bed wetting accidents, we called around for a professional extraction service. Ohana Extraction was not the cheapest, but they were also not outrageous. Plus, with all the 5 star reviews and their quick availability, it was a relatively simple choice. Since they were coming for the king mattress, we added our sofa covers and a rocker/recliner. They also comped a small area on a sofa bed mattress. Now, I had tried to clean the mattress for several days, but was unable to fully remove the smell. Additionally, we have previously dry-cleaned and even washed the sofa covers ourselves, but they have never come really clean. We were at the point of wondering if it was time to recover them or get a new living room set. Like a true 5-star company, we were given a courtesy reminder the day before the job. Marcus was our technician and he worked by himself, using hot water and a special extraction machine. He was also very pleasant and professional and we could see that he really took his time to make sure everything was cleaned as well as possible. I think there may be a few spots still on some areas of the sofa, but that is to be expected since they were there for probably years and I'm not even sure what they were from. Overall, everything was beautifully cleaned, no odors left behind. In fact, everything was done so well that we decided we can wait to replace all those furniture items.
