I hired KleenPro for a move-out cleaning for a 3bedroom/1.5bathroom apartment and had some of the WORST service/experience I've ever had with a cleaning company. This includes late and unsatisfactory cleaning (with multiple dirty spots), lack of response when I reached out (despite their guarantee), and LYING to the bank when I tried to initiate a chargeback. We set the appointment for 1 PM. The cleaner arrived in the early afternoon around 2 PM, but the service did not finish until much later at almost midnight due to a change in cleaners. We understand that there was a family emergency causing a change in cleaners, so we aren't too upset about that. However, we are upset at the communication near the end because the original cleaner had estimated finishing at 9 PM due to the delay. We checked in a little past 9 PM and they said they were not finished yet. We stopped by and the new cleaning staff said they'd be done by 10:30 PM. We came back at 11 PM and they were still cleaning, not finishing until almost midnight. With all the time spent, we are also upset at the condition it was left in. Several spots were missed (easy things like dust marks on the floor!). I have attempted to contact the merchant multiple times, through both email and text, and received no response from them. We attempted to contact them well within the 48-hour period immediately after the cleaning to do a touch-up cleaning (as stated on their website). We had to hire a different cleaning company to finish the job. As a result, we initiated a chargeback, on which KleenPro LIED in the response. They said that we did not reach out, despite us emailing and texting them multiple times to try to resolve the issue amicably. We even tried to request a normal refund from the merchant, but since they did not respond to us, we initiated a chargeback. read more

Same day within a few hours (even during COVID) and brought a team of 3 others to clean my 2bdrm 1bath apartment. I felt he charged fairly for the additional carpet cleaning for the living room and 2 bedrooms. If you're patient, I assure you that you will be so pleased with the results. Stains that had been in the carpet since before I moved in are gone now. They really take their time to clean everything including the jalousie windows that are near impossible for me to do myself. Our DEEP CLEAN service from KleenPro was LESS than satisfactory. Not only did we have to clean up after our deep clean service. LEON THE OWNER WAS RUDE when we brought up our concerns. He stated "that he was not responsible for these cleaning concerns!". However, listed in the deep cleaning service on the website, it's list EXACTLY what was not cleaned. He also, stated that he could of charged us more if he came to our unit which, if that was the case he should of. But like his website states and the route he choose to take, he gave us a quote over the phone without ever wanting to see the unit. We had a previous cleaner come to quote our unit after doing a walk-through at the SAME PRICE but we went with KleenPro because they did both deep clean and carpet service. Leon and his crew did a fabulous job at my 1bd/1ba place. 5 days before my move-out day, I was told that I had to have the place professionally cleaned, including carpet cleaning. I called several places and KleenPro responded immediately. And they were able to fit me into their schedule so that they'd be done (and the carpet dry) before my landlord's walk-thru. The day of the service, Leon called to ask if they could come early. They met me at my place and got straight to work. Leon called me a couple of hours later to say they'd be done in 20min, giving me time to return. The pros: They were on time. They called an hour in advance to verify that I was home and aware of the time frame they would arrive. They did the job efficiently and quickly. They were polite and professional. Cons: They tried to clean around furniture without moving it which means I almost didn't get my monies worth. But if you move the furniture yourself and ask them to go back and do the carpet underneath the furniture they are more than happy to and do not complain, grumble, or be unpleasant in any way. So just keep an eye on them and make sure that they are cleaning everywhere that you want them to and if they miss a spot they'll happily go back over it. Basically they made about 2 and 1/2 years of disgusting carpets look almost brand new. Worth the money. read more

I needed a move-out clean done and was looking for a company that did both all around cleaning as well as deep-cleaning the carpets. Leon and his crew called about 30 minutes prior to our appointment and asked if an early start was ok; perfect! Job was quoted as to be finished in 3-4 hours, not only did they finish in just over 2 hours (approx. 600 sqrft 1bdr) but they did a fantastic job! Price was fair but, full disclosure, I despise moving and the cleaning that goes with it so I'm probably willing to pay more than your average person just so I don't have to deal with it. This is our first time hiring move-out cleaning, we need the unit cleaned by 2/28 and we hired Kleen Pro on 2/26 since they looked promising. We had no reason to not trust them with the cleaning job and left for them to do their job. However, we were proven wrong. They came to the unit on 2/26 at 10 am as scheduled and finished the job little passed noon and was charged $420+tax for their services. On 2/28 I received a text message around 1 pm from the leasing agent asking me to call the cleaning crew back, stating that they had misses somethings. We contacted the cleaning crew and told the agent the cleaner will be there in 30 minutes for additional work. 5 hours later got another text message from the leasing agent expressing her disbelief on how unprofessional and lack of detail they were. She had asked the Kleen Pro crews to clean the bathroom grouts, removed the hard water stains off the glass shower walls, and polish the stainless appliances. But the crews said they don't do that, they only do "wipe down." I am shocked to learn this, for the charge was rather grand for a mere 2.5hrs of work. At the end of the day, our own agent had to clean up herself and hire another company to finish off the job tomorrow which I will get billed for. We were immensely regretful to hire Kleen Pro for the job, and didn't see the point of hiring a company who promised a move-out cleaning, but can only do a "wipe down" instead. I scheduled an appointment with KleenPro about a week and a half in advance to get the carpets cleaned at townhouse I used to live in as part of moving out. Leon scheduled me and took down my information over the phone and quoted me a great price. On the day that we scheduled, he arrived late. He did call about 15 minutes prior to the appointment letting me know he would be late and why he was late - I guess he was trying to call me on the way but wrote my number down wrong. After calling back to his office and verifying my number, he realized he wrote down the wrong number. It happens, but I took a star off because it was unprofessional and he arrived about 15 minutes late. Next, he arrived and let me know what he could do and what he couldn't. It has been years since the carpet was cleaned professionally, but he did a great job and didn't say he could work miracles. Of course, there was just normal wear and tear since the carpet was old. It did look a great deal better than I expected and they did a great job. I took another star off because of a malfunction during the cleaning... the vacuum cleaner they had broke. It took another 15 minutes to get everything going again, which means the hour to hour and a half they had scheduled with me turned into two hours. They did not have a backup in the van. Even though I did take off two stars, I think they did a great job. Leon quoted me a good price and if they showed up on time and didn't have the malfunction, I would have easily given them four or five stars. I can't say that I wasn't satisfied, but I'm extremely punctual and it is one of my pet peeves when people aren't punctual. Would I recommend KleenPro? Yes, of course. I just hope they don't run into the same issues again with another customer. Based off my impression of Leon, this is definitely not a normal experience with him or KleenPro, so please don't let my rating keep you from choosing them. They showed up on time and cleaned 1000 sqft of carpet in under 1 hr. While one team was focused on pre-treating stains, the other team was extracting and steam cleaning with the carpet vacuum. They even had several tools to extract the stains and dirt from the hard to reach angles and corners. They are also on the Square (card reader) system so payment was easy. I recently purchased a Living Social offer for half off carpet cleaning through a company called KleenPro Hawaii. The offer was $70 which was 50% off the regular $140 three room carpet cleaning (not to exceed 675 sq. ft.). I need to advise you that this offer is a complete rip off and I ended up getting my money back from Social Living. 1. I called KleenPro Hawaii prior to purchasing the voucher from Living Social because I wanted to make certain they would come to my neighborhood. I wasn't sure if I was within their range of service area. I specifically asked what was included and then I made an appointment for the afternoon of May 31st. 2. They no-showed on May 31st. My wife called them repeatedly to find out what happened. When she finally reached them, they said they were trying to call her cell phone number (which they transposed two numbers) that morning and when they couldn't reach her, they cancelled the appointment. My wife let them know they took her number down incorrectly, if they were calling to reconfirm, they should have called the day before instead of the morning of the appointment, and they also had our home telephone number. She knew this because they called her back on our home number. The appointment was rescheduled for June 1st at 9:30 am. 3. My wife let them know she took the day off on May 31st for this carpet cleaning service and she wanted some sort of compensation for their mistake. She suggested they do our stairs which were not part of the original order. They said they already had to charge $40 for the original appointment (which my wife argued as we purchased the Living Social voucher on-line) and it would be an additional $40 to do the stairs. They claimed our purchase was for only three rooms. My wife responded that we only wanted the living room and dining room carpets cleaned. They countered by saying a hallway counted as a room. We don't have a hallway between these two rooms. They finally agreed to do the stairs at no additional charge and agreed that they would not charge her $40 for the original appointment. 4. The offer clearly states that this service includes a "systematic 12 - step cleaning process that includes pre-treating, vacuuming, soil extraction, odor neutralization and speed drying." The KleenPro guys showed up at our house at 9:40 am and they were done with the entire job at 10:22 am. My wife said upon arrival, they asked her if she vacuumed the carpet and she said she did not, it was supposed to be included with the offer. They said no vacuuming wasn't included. One guy took a spray bottle (don't know what was in it) and sprayed the carpet by the front door entrance to the living room and the entrance through the garage to the dining room. He then took their cleaning machine and sprayed water (don't know if it was even hot water or with detergent?) and vacuumed it back up with the machine. They then told my wife to turn on any fans she had to dry the carpet and he left. This offer is clearly deceptive and didn't come close to satisfying what our expectations were. My wife, kids and I moved all of our furniture out of both rooms the day before the originally scheduled appointment to make it easier for the carpet cleaners to do a great job. I've asked my wife to call another carpet cleaner today to do the job the way it was supposed to be done in the first place. The customer service people at Living Social were great about refunding my $70 as I will be spending this money with a more reputable carpet cleaning company this week. They had 3 ladies show up and made the place look like new, even a stubborn stain on a cabinet that was there when we first moved in years ago was gone. The price stayed the same as the phone quote. The only down side was that it took an hour longer than quoted, with extra time spent waiting for the boss to come back so we could pay him. However they did such a great job that the wait was ok. They spent several hours cleaning, with several individuals (1900 sq ft home) and did a good job. There were some discrepancies with the landlord during the final walk through, but they were very willing to work with us and make things right. (Our landlord was super picky, IMO).
