This includes late and unsatisfactory cleaning (with multiple dirty spots), lack of response when I reached out (despite their guarantee), and LYING to the bank when I tried to initiate a chargeback. We set the appointment for 1 PM. The cleaner arrived in the early afternoon around 2 PM, but the service did not finish until much later at almost midnight due to a change in cleaners. We understand that there was a family emergency causing a change in cleaners, so we aren't too upset about that. However, we are upset at the communication near the end because the original cleaner had estimated finishing at 9 PM due to the delay. We checked in a little past 9 PM and they said they were not finished yet. We stopped by and the new cleaning staff said they'd be done by 10:30 PM. We came back at 11 PM and they were still cleaning, not finishing until almost midnight. With all the time spent, we are also upset at the condition it was left in. Several spots were missed (easy things like dust marks on the floor!). I have attempted to contact the merchant multiple times, through both email and text, and received no response from them. We attempted to contact them well within the 48-hour period immediately after the cleaning to do a touch-up cleaning (as stated on their website). We had to hire a different cleaning company to finish the job. As a result, we initiated a chargeback, on which KleenPro LIED in the response. They said that we did not reach out, despite us emailing and texting them multiple times to try to resolve the issue amicably. We even tried to request a normal refund from the merchant, but since they did not respond to us, we initiated a chargeback.

Same day within a few hours (even during COVID) and brought a team of 3 others to clean my 2bdrm 1bath apartment. I felt he charged fairly for the additional carpet cleaning for the living room and 2 bedrooms. If you're patient, I assure you that you will be so pleased with the results. Stains that had been in the carpet since before I moved in are gone now. They really take their time to clean everything including the jalousie windows that are near impossible for me to do myself. Everyone arrived in masks too. Thank you Leon and team! 10/10 would recommend for move out and additional carpet cleaning!

I've used "The Maids" twice now to do a "spring cleaning" on my condo, and my experience between…read morethe first and second times, could not have been more different. I first contracted "The Maids" service in 2023. It was not my first time using a cleaning service, but I knew nothing about them. If I remember correctly, I'd seen a van with their logo, and thought that I'd one day give them a try. Well, that first time was absolutely spectacular. They arrived early, and literally cleaned my condo from top to bottom. I mean, the place was sparkling! I was so impressed with the job they'd done, I called them afterward to add a generous tip to the fee they'd charged. I was pleased, and recommended them to friends every chance I got. For the last two years, I'd used another service, simply because they were friends of one of my neighbors, and she'd asked me to support them. This year, they were booked solid for weeks, so I gladly called "The Maids" again. Well, in the two years since I'd first used them, their fee had gone up dramatically, but that wasn't an issue, as, given my previous experience, I believed it would be worth it. So. I made the appointment, and as promised they texted me the day before, to let me know the window of time in which they'd be arriving. However, on said day, I got a call from one of the cleaners telling me that they were running behind and would be a few minutes late. That actually turned out to be a half an hour later than the scheduled time, but, since I'd allotted several hours for them to complete their work, that was not an issue. When they arrived, they got to work immediately, and I got out of their way. I have a two bedroom, two bath unit, so I wrangled my two cats into the second bedroom, and told them to let me know when they were finished with the rest of the unit, and I'd move the cats to the other room. After about an hour and fifteen minutes or so, they knocked to let me know that they were ready to clean the second bedroom, so I moved the cats, and let them get to work. Strangely, only a few minutes passed before they informed me that they were done. I quickly did a superficial inspection (my mistake), since I thought I already knew what the quality of their cleaning would be. They let me know what the final charge would be, and they left. And then I started to really inspect the job they did. The place was mostly clean, but it was nowhere near the brilliant job the previous team who'd cleaned my unit two years prior. But that wasn't the real problem. I have glass shower doors on the bathtub in my second bathroom, and when I took a good look at them, there was soap and hard water residue all along the bottom of both doors. It was apparent that the young woman who cleaned those doors, couldn't be bothered to bend down to clean the bottom of the glass. The rest of the surfaces in the bathroom looked as if the bare minimum effort had been given to cleaning them. I took note of that, and went into the second bedroom. And it didn't look like they'd done much at all. They'd vacuumed. I know that because I heard it running. But there was dust everywhere. Clearly (in their haste to leave?), they'd simply quickly wiped off the most visible surfaces, and made no effort to clean any further. I have a desk with computer equipment on it and a bookshelf/ display case (among other things) in that room, and the previous crew, had cleaned everything. It was spotless. The results this time couldn't compare. You wouldn't have believed that the same company did this job. I'm not exaggerating when I say that, on my worst day, I would have done a more thorough job. And seeing the results I got, for the money I paid, I probably should have. The charitable interpretation is that they were already running behind in their schedule because of their earlier delay, so I got the short shrift. The other interpretation is that they either didn't care to make a good effort, or just aren't good at their jobs. Suffice it to say, I will not be using "The Maids" again.

I received several quotes for this "re-clean" of a Move Out cleaning by cleaners that my tenants…read morehired. Its so difficult to find reliable and thorough cleaners- but the cleaners that the tenants hired (found on Yelp) left the unit as of they didnt clean at all- see "Before photos". I'm so glad to have found Dan and his crew. They were prompt, great communicators, and they got our apartment actually clean, and was mindful of the time they took to get everything cleaned and done right. I apppreciate them so much. They service properties from Alewa to Hawaii Kai only. Wish I could have Dan & his crew for my other properties, but since I can't- I'd rather not keep them a secret and share them with everyone looking for a good cleaner!

Wayland gave us a quote and said the cleaning "usually takes 3-4 hours depending how dirty the place is". Noted. When they arrived I told them we had done a lot of the cleaning already. I showed him him we had already cleaned the floors, the bedrooms, and the bathroom. We mostly needed the windows clean, the oven clean, and some small details here and there, but otherwise everything was already looking pristine. They did what they said they were going to do and give them credit for that. They also finished the job in less than 2 hours and said they'll send us the bill. I referenced his initial quote and politely asked if there were any discounts available off the price since we had done a lot of the cleaning ourselves and it took them a lot less the the quoted 3-4 hours. I give you a direct response: "I ended up bringing 4 total guys to the job! That's why it finished a little faster as well!! Originally 2" I never asked him to show up with extra people, but kind of implies he would have charged me more if it had taken the full 3-4 hours with this crew. Whatever bro. Like I said, they did what they said they would do so I give them credit for that and I paid them the amount they quoted but simply put I have no intent to use their services again. Moral of the story: If you need a cleaning for move don't waste a second of your time doing any cleaning yourself if you plan on using this service.
