I was going to rate this a 3 star but I got an update from my tenants and decided to give a 2 star as I have to spend more money for their half effort job. We contacted Asako for a move out deep clean the day before a tenant move out as our prior schedule cleaning company had a worker emergency and canceled our cleaning. Asako's communication was prompt and she gave a time for the cleaners to come. We asked for a deep clean + shampoo of our carpet for our 2BR/2B , 935 sq ft apartment. We were quoted $675-$725.This is where some of the issues started.2 cleaners came at 2pm and one of them, MJ, did a quick walk through of the apartment. MJ was very nice and communicative throughout the process. The apartment was not dirty as tenants cleaned often and I did a walk through prior to them moving out. There were some minor carpet stains near the kitchen area. Asako texted me and said it would be $725 (no explanation about why it came to the highest end of the quote). Ok, no problem as long as they do a good job.Cleaners said it would take 2-4 hours.Cleaners texted me at 6:30PM and said unit would be ready around 6:45PM, I thought to myself, wow, these guys mustve done a spotless job, cleaning 4.5 hours. Unfortunately due to an elevator issue and our unit being on a high floor, I was unable to get to the unit until 7:30pm.When I got to the unit, carpet was still very wet from shampoo and NONE of the stains were removed! Their walkthrough policy is that you have to do a walkthrough while the cleaners are still there and let them know; unfortunately because tenants moved all the lamps out, there was only lights in the Kitchen and the two bathrooms.The kitchen was still filthy! Nobody wiped down the outside of the cabinets / pantries! I started to wipe it down and I asked MJ to help. Fridge was good for the most part. Kitchen tile's grout was filthy, I complained to Asako and MJ and they said its not included in the "deep clean", only a mopping of tiled areas! Since visibility was poor and it was approaching 8:15pm, I told Asako and MJ, please comeback in the morning before 8am to help finish off whatever is remaining. I guess because they had other jobs in the AM, they would be unable to come. MJ said he would contact me tomorrow to come back and finish, but because my tenants move in at 8am, it wouldn't work after 8am as they would be busy moving in and out. The next morning I went to walmart and got cleaning supplies. There was more light in the unit so I could better see the clean job vs the day prior. Floorboards still dirty, medicine cabinets still had residue, shower head still had mildew, dust bunnies here and there, bottom of toilets still dirty, water stains on bathoom faucets weren't removed. The hallway by the kitchen was basically untouched!! I sprayed carpet stain remover on the stained parts of the carpet around kitchen and inliving room and wiped with a microfiber and all of the stains came off (not sure why they didnt use carpet stain remover?). I did the Kitchen grout myself with some Clorox spray and a metal wool cleaner, finished in 10-15 mins. With tax the total came out to $759.16. I tipped cleaners $50.00 as well. Cleaners spent about 4.5 hours and I really expected better results. I hate to give a bad review to a local company but this was really disappointing. For $800, they dusted, mopped, wiped, vacuumed.. This price came at the top range of most of the quotes I was given and unfortunately wasn't worth the price!! UPDATE: Never heard back from MJ the next day and our tenants had to rent their own carpet cleaning machine as the carpet area by the hallway was still dirty and smelly! They said the water that came out was super dirty and felt like it was NOT vacuumed shampood! read more

I cancelled my cleaning mid way because she was constantly texting me, and not able to answer simple questions about the job. Even asked me to have her cleaner call her bc he wasnt answering her calls. Lady.... if you wanna run a legit business here is some word of advice... go out and do your own walk throughs. Have better knowledge of the scope of work that you are providing. Pick up the phone and have better conversations with your clients. We contacted Diamond Bright Cleaning for a move-out cleaning of a 2 bed/2 bath apartment on somewhat short notice. They were able to accommodate us and did an amazing, and extremely thorough job, which included wiping down/removing scuff marks from the walls, cleaning windows, etc. The unit had hard surface flooring throughout, and Alicia was able to get everything super clean. I was actually amazed at how fresh--but not chemical-like--everything smelled when we return. It felt like a whole new place. Having worked with other cleaners before, I can definitely say that not everyone provides the same level of cleanliness. I paid significantly more with another cleaning service and I feel they did half as good a job. Three stars is a passing grade. Back around February 2024, I hired Diamond Bright to clean my shower stall and glass shower door with a lot of soap scum. I thought I'd be getting cleaners from Japan, but Americans were sent instead. They got the soap scum off in the stall, but were unable to clean a water mark from the glass shower door. At my request, Asako sent them back and they improved their work on the door, but in the end I cleared the water mark off the glass door with Rejuvenate soap scum remover from Anazon. Since Asako sent the cleaners back at my request, I would be willing to try Diamond Bright again if Asako will send Japan people to do the work. read more

I had to schedule a last minute Airbnb cleaning with Diamond Bright (arranged by Asako), and the cleaner Yukiko did a much more detailed job than other cleaners in Waikiki for a lower price. Another cleaner I used charged much more and refused to do services like dishes/laundry/empty the fridge. Diamond Bright did this no questions asked and even picked up my delivery with a mattress cover and drain clog remover for my guest. I'm not usually on the hunt for a housekeeper but my need to get my condo cleaned for a new tenant and my desire for a deep cleaning at my residence caused me to hunt for someone. By luck one day, in the parking lot of my office building was a car labeled "Diamond Bright Cleaning".... "Text or leave message for information and quote". So I did just that and got a call back from Asako (who I think may be the owner). I scheduled an appointment with her to visit my home so she can see what I needed done before giving me an estimate of what the cost may be. The rest is history. She visited my home, called me back a day later with a price and her idea of how she planned to tackle the job of deep cleaning my home. With the go ahead, she scheduled a date and time. She and her co worker tackled the project and when I got home I was pleasantly surprised and definitely impressed with their work. She's on a regular schedule now at my home; comes in, does her job and leaves. She refers to her work as "maintaining the deep clean" she worked so hard on. Now, about her conduct as a business: 1) she returns messages or texts within the day usually in the early evening. 2) she texts the day before a scheduled appointment to confirm the job is still on 3) she texts at the end of the job letting me know she will be leaving... I contacted Diamond Bright Cleaning for a move out clean for our one bedroom rental unit attached to our Waialae Iki home. I have used other companies in the past and have been very disappointed. This company is RESPONSIVE, PROFESSIONAL, and FAIR. Asako, owner, returned my call within 24 hours of my inquiry. I was provided with an appointment right away. The cleaner on her team ran late, however Asako and Alicia (cleaner) communicated with me right away informing me she was running late. I'm big on communication. I communicated my expectations with Asako and again with Alicia upon her arrival. Alicia assured me the work would be done to meet my standard. Her work was thorough! I had a fridge that I thought would never look new again! She made it shine and removed some rust I couldn't remove. I also thought I needed to reglaze the tub, but Alicia did some magic to bring it back! I also appreciated that Alicia did a walk though with me at the end to make sure that I was satisfied. Thanks to Asako's Diamond Bright cleaning, today is the first day in a year that I don't feel anxious walking around my house, seeing all of the cleaning that needs to be done, and not even knowing where to start! Like everyone else, COVID changed our house from an average home into a double-work space, a school and a constant play yard.
