Mozaik is a small little restaurant with a bar that we went inside of on a whim. My wife and I were exploring Sonoma for the day for my birthday, and we ended up here for dinner. We had the Thai Green Chicken Curry & Mediterranean Sea Bass which were both phenomenal! Our waiter was extremely kind and brought us glasses of Rosé as a birthday treat. He also offered us dessert and we ended up getting vanilla ice cream topped with a spicy pistachio sauce, which was fabulous! I was even sung Happy Birthday by the restaurant! There was another woman celebrating her birthday who received the same treatment. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dining experience. I appreciate both the waiter and waitress that helped us out, and how kind and thorough they both were. Highly recommend Mozaik!

Lovely casual weekend lunch spot. Ordered the gem salad and shared the chicken tacos and umami burger. Host was extremely welcoming and nice. She offered samples for the wine so we could decide what to drink. Gem salad was fresh with a delicious crunch. The vinaigrette was simple and perhaps the most well seasoned part of the meal! Tacos and burger were fine. Ingredients were fresh and the salsa on the tacos was good. Burger was a little overcooked but the wasabi mustard was very tasty and unique!

To be honest we couldn't get a reservation at our first choice so decided to give MOZAIK a try and so glad we did. I was a little intimidated by the eclectic menu but everything we had was deliciously prepared and tasty. The restaurant feels romantic with just the right amount of soft lighting and decor. The staff are all professionally dressed and gracious. This is the perfect place for a date night for that special person. We split a Caesar salad with prawns -so delicious! Prawns perfectly cooked and grated egg was the perfect topping. The Thai green curry was perfect with just the right amount of spice. We usually skip dessert but decide to try the berry tart - AMAZING I can't say enough about the service we received from everyone there. Definitely going back

The food was excellent as I had the Seabass and wife had the Thai Chicken Curry. We also had the honey/chili carrots, little gem salad and the wonderful French fries with three diff kinds of homemade ketchup. The waiter, David was fantastic! I highly recommend this place!

Was in and out very quickly, but the service was good, ambiance was welcoming, and food was great. I'd come back and explore the menu more!

We dined in on a reservation and had a short wait. The restaurant was rather warm throughout the experience. Service was slow though the restaurant was busy. We split a bottle of wine, the sweet and spiced carrots which were really well cooked, the salad was a bit underwhelming although the dressing was delicious, the curry was nicely sized though my party member who got it felt it was under seasoned. The meal was rather expensive as a whole we felt for what we got.

Girls weekend in Sonoma, and we were looking for a place for dinner that had something for all 4 girls. We found it! The vibe is perfect. The space is small and intimate. The service is amazing. And the food? Well. Everything we ordered was insane. We got the hot honey carrots and Wonton and Prawns to share. Both were delicious. The wontons were unexplainably amazing! Two girls ordered the Asiago gnocchi. I didn't know gnocchi could be leveled up. But they did it. One girl ordered the marrakesh kafta. Beef and pork meatballs with Moroccan spice and yogurt. A unique flavor that was warm and fresh. And I ordered the sea bass. It was buttery and amazing. We fawned over our meals that we ended up sharing with each other because we just couldn't believe how fantastic the food was. HIGHLY recommend you visit if you want great food and a great experience. Must stop in if you visit Sonoma!

Stumbled across Mozaik after wine tasting nearby and their happy hour quickly caught my attention. They have a flight of tapa bites for their HH menu, I believe 5 for $30 or 3 for less which I thought was a steal! They all sounded yummy so we opted to try all 5. The presentation was super cute too, the food came in dipping sauce platters with 3 of each to try. Some notable mentions were the hummus & falafel, meatballs, and some type of chicken shawarma! The dumplings and shrimp weren't my favorite, so I'd probably opt for just the other 3 next time. The customer service here was able phenomenal, we got seated fast and the employees were friendly. We really found this place on a whim so I'm glad we were able to get a quick bite here after some wine and before dinner as it was the perfect amount of food!

I've been here a few times since they've opened, with a my cousin for dinner, and for happy hour with friends after an event at the Sonoma Botanical Gardens, etc., and so far, there hasn't been a dish I haven't liked (although I declined to share the meatballs ordered by my friends - I'm sure they were good, my friends said they were, I just don't care for ground meat that much - call me an overgrown picky toddler, it's fiiiine). I love, love, love the sweet and spiced carrots, I could eat a hundred plates of those. Service is warm, personal, and inviting, and the ambiance invites good conversation.

A place in Sonoma finally open past 7p!! After hearing the sausage emporium closed, I was delighted to learn Mozaik is the same owner & staff and had to try it. I came here last night and was super excited to learn they were open until 9p on Thursday since everything else seems to close so early. I was also really excited to see the menu, everything available is very innovative. The cocktails were great but the food was EXCELLENT. The asiago gnocchi was rich and delicious , the pork belly naan flatbread was fantastic with the melted brie, and the moroccan bocadillo was also amazing. The fries were served with a ketchup flight where I couldn't get enough of the curry ketchup. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Delicious food in a much needed, upscale bar/lounge vibe in Sonoma. Service is professional and genuine. Small but thoughtfully curated wine and beer list, including non-alcoholic options. Great espresso and coffee drinks, including late into the night, to drink there or take to go, something we're lacking in town. The daily social hour offers special prices on tapas and drinks. A wonderful spot for locals and visitors alike.

We had a great dinner in Mozaik! We started with a wonderful bottle of wine, and then had the Kafta meatballs and short ribs with mashed potatoes. Everything tasted wonderfully and the customer service was excellent. We loved the ambience, and will definitely be back!

Tried this place out on a Saturday! Thai curry was pretty good, slightly spicy. Sea bass was fresh with potato puree. Highlight was actually the fries with different types of ketchup. Service was fine, the owner was taking our orders. Ambiance was nice and quaint but more suited as a wine bar....

    Enjoying life!

We must have had 4 or 5 different people serving us, no consistency. We received the burgers on a dessert plate with no room for the extra salad and fries we ordered. So we asked for bigger plates. We had to ask for serving spoons for the salad. Then, I mentioned to one of the servers that it was my friend's birthday- not a word from her. Did we want dessert? I thought at least a scoop of ice cream with a candle but no!! We ordered their deconstructed cheesecake which we would share. Had to ask for 3 plates and we were charged for the dessert which was fair I suppose as it was $13. But nothing whatsoever regarding my friend's birthday. 90% of restaurants will always try to celebrate a birthday if they are advised. All of us are locals and this is bad news for Layla's.

Seems to be quite the local favorite and a good amount of parking nearby. Generally very positive thoughts on the food quality, though much less on the spicy heat and more on the veggies in the platters. Pita and platters have the same fresh veggies and composition with hot sauce and ranch. Not quite heavily spiced as other meditteranean spots but very tasty. On the plus, their pita is very fresh and remarkably chewy. Greek fries were fantastic, just enough feta cheese with drizzle of olive oil and touch of salt on top of super crispy fries. Aromatic and crispy without being too greasy. Fried goodies are top notch, falafel was tasty and moist on the interior, chicken schnitzel had solid batter to it.

The seasonal menu's offerings were ideal for a rainy April day, when their cassoulet, bocadillo and other cozy options provided the comfort food we were craving. I loved the colorful tables and tasteful decor. It was clearly a regular lunch destination for many of the diners. The bar was packed during the rush, around noon, as well as the other indoor seats. My lunch friend mentioned that the restaurant is owned and operated by a husband and wife team: Annette and Brian. The regulars were greeted with familiarity. It wasn't the kind of place where you're rushed for your order, nor is it a dine and dash location. The menu - both food and drink - has tantalizing options, so it's best to come back repeatedly. My Turkish Coffee arrived quickly after I ordered it, despite Annette being the only server on the floor. I enjoyed the Bocadillo too, especially the pickled vegetables that accompany the sandwich. For those complaining that the portions were small or that the prices were high, the quality of ingredients and depth of flavor are worth the cost and my portion was more than enough to satisfy my appetite, plus I left with the other half of my sandwich as an offering for my hungry twenty-something at home. We ordered a rice pudding for dessert and dug in before I was able to snap a picture! It was delicious though, with the poached blueberries and almonds offering an ideal balance of texture and flavor to earn this simple dessert my esteem. Next time I want to try the beet & sour cream cake though!
