I'm not sure why people have this place so many stars. The company is Aramark which is the below average quality of food in school cafeterias. However it's stadium food so somewhat expected. However what I couldn't stomach was that when I got the food it was room temp. The cold food was barely cold and the hot food was barely warm. So for food safety reasons I didn't eat further and got my money back. Don't make the same mistake. Just buy other food for that price. read more

Below average food and service, nothing to ride home about. Came here on a Tuesday night and it was pretty dead. My friend and I got seated right away, it took our server a few minutes to take our drink order. The menu was ok, I'll be honest, I thought the prices were very steep but we stayed to get something to eat. I had a special which were fish tacos...totally average and $20 for three. They were on the large side and I was full after eating them but were nothing to write home about. My friend got nachos which looked just kind of blah. 2 beers, nachos and fish tacos...$47?!?! We made online reservations for 2nd seating Saturday Night 7/17/2021. We were treating our out of town guests who came for a Rockies game. Of course when we got there, no reservation was found. They did allow us to sit at the bar tables facing the field which was nice of them. We then discovered they no longer have a menu! You can only do the $30 pp buffet or order a hamburger or hot dog. The ONE Amazing bright star of the evening was our amazing server (Karen), she was very kind and made the experience tolerable. I give Karen a 5 star rating but the restaurant less than 1 star if that is possible. read more

This was the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of eating at. We kept asking the waiter what they had on the Ala cart menu for the little ones and he kept bringing us the buffet menu. Finally had to take them to the buffet cuz they were starving. $12 per child for nothing OMG! $30 for adults OMG. Rediculous prices and horrible food. The cookies were like bricks, needed a chain saw to break them in half. The ribs, were dry and over cooked, the potatoes were gooey, the sliders were soggy, the sausage stuff they cut diagonal was tough and dry. I was so disappointed. Horrible waiter as well. The bus staff was friendlier than this joker. My recommendation is to go to one of the vendors on the concourse they have way better selection and WAY BETTER food. But should you decide to go to this awful place be sure you take out a loan to pay the over inflated prices. read more

I want to Thank you all that work at Coors Field for a wonderful 10th Wedding Anniversary. The staff at the Mountain Ranch Bar and Grill was amazing, especially Frank who was our waiter/bartender and the waitress (I didn't get her name) who graciously charged my phone for a bit so I could take a few pictures of us celebrating. And of course we loved our food. We have decided to continue to celebrate our Anniversary this way each year (this being our 2nd year)! My husband and I got tickets to sit out in the front for a game, and we absolutely loved it. The view of the field is great, and if you have trouble seeing each of the tables has a little tv so that you can see the Root Sports feed. The tickets weren't cheap ($250 each), but $45 of that was good for food at the restaurant. And let me say, that they will walk over and get you a Helton Burger, which happens to be my favorite food in the ball park! We had the steak too, and it was so-so, but the burger was great as usual. The service is absolutely fantastic. You get a free souvenir magazine and there is sunscreen available (because the sun can be crazy right there). I was very happy with everything there. Being someone who has worked in restaurants I try VERY VERY VERY hard to be patient but tonight I was just over the many many many problems. I can accept this place being over priced, but the bad service and environment was just overboard. A friend gave us tickets to the game, but they were WAY high up and I don't do heights. I also don't do cheap, so we thought we'd just hit up Mountain Ranch, get a bite to eat and watch the game. We walk in and are told that there are no seats with a view. That's understandable so we walked over to the place where the hostess pointed to that was open. She doesn't walk with us or give us menus. We sit and try to be patient. After chatting for 10 minutes and having a few servers walk by us with no attempt at looking at us, BF walks up to a server to see if he is in charge of our section. He says that it's another server, but he can start us off with waters. He never came back and no one ever came over. We sit another 10 minutes or so and finally get up and go sit at the bar. The bartender was actually pretty friendly and walks over quickly. Things are being saved. Oh wait, it all starts going downhill again. There are two guys sitting next to us who clearly have/do work here. They are having inappropriate conversations with two of the servers and a manager came over to hug them and buy them dinner. Them and the servers chat away for 30 minutes. I'm not usually a stickler, but seeing two servers standing there shooting the sh** with these two guys while we sat at a table being ignored did not go unnoticed. Besides these two guys it was clear that no one behind the bar (4 bartenders) game a hoot about us besides the one girl. Another bartender was steadily stuffing her face the entire time we were there. There were several times she walked by our tab with credit card CLEARLY on top shoving food in her mouth and ignoring that we were trying to pay. I'm sorry but I don't want to see you eating behind the bar and it's AGAINST HEALTH REGULATIONS. I'm SURE Coors Field has a break room. Sheesh, it wasn't even that busy. Another bartender only helped to egg on the two guys who were being inappropriate. Not being concerned if he might offend someone in ear shot he made very bigoted comments about women. I was so turned off by the comments and disgusted that this guy has a job when others are unemployed. I mean for me to get offended you have to be an arse. The food was ok and the drinks were weak. I'm really disappointed and we actually left the game during the 4th because of this experience. Coors Field is awesome and I love our Rockies but someone really need to start managing these people. read more

Did you know that this is no longer just for club members... Anyone can go here during a Rockies game. If you want to sit on the granite table tops it will cost you (depending on your ticket), however IF there is room in the bar you can just go in and grab a seat. It's a great place to view the game, they have food, and the best part- they still serve drinks after the 7th inning.... Not sure I should let the cat out of the bag because most people don't know about it, but really... you at least need to get up here to check out the view. They do take reservations, and this place can get busy so keep that in mind. Even if you spend the extra cash to watch the game from here instead of the stands, you will not be disapointed. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was there yesterday for Opening Day of the Rockies with my colleague and a couple clients. So many problems. First, to make a reservation I called the Grille and spoke to Daryl. He was nice and asked me to make my reservation online. So I went online and made a 12 o'clock reservation, game time was 2:10 PM. When we arrived at Coors Field however, the gates didn't open until 12:30 PM. At 12:30 we went up to the Mountain Ranch Grille. We were greeted by Daryl who handed us off to someone else to be seated. They sat us in the back corner which was not great, but they were nice. We ordered our drinks and some nachos. That took about 20 to 30 minutes to get our drink order and nachos out. At that time we ordered our entrées. We got a couple sandwiches, a burger and a salad. Those took almost an hour. Other tables came and left that were larger than ours but for whatever reason our waiter, Paul, couldn't find our food. When the food did arrive, the order was messed up, and the buns on the sandwiches were rockhard. Because of the restaurants delay we missed the opening ceremonies, the flyover, and almost the first pitch. I will NEVER go back to this place and cannot recommend that anyone looking for good food, good service, or good atmosphere, ever go to the Mountain Ranch Grille. read more

I don't know if this is shocking to anyone, but service at the Mountain Ranch is really, really, REALLY bad. If it's less than 50 degrees outside and you get to watch the game from a warm restaurant, it doesn't matter all that much, but it is definitely worth noting. Even with a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, and another 30 after being sat before we could place a drink order. Good thing games last for 3+ hours! The food was ok, as expected - no better or worse than the food you can find out on the concourse. I had a great experience the whole time. I was greeted by a friendly host team (I recommend a reservation or you will be out of luck) who seated me at a large table right behind the outfield. Our table overlooked the field so it was great to be able to watch the game in the AC. The management team was stopping by tables (I am guessing they are season ticket holders or regulars) and having quick friendly conversations. The staff was very attentive and high energy. My wife and I have eaten here several times and we recently held my son's bachelor party there. Our server was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. When there was a mistake on the final bill, the manager handled it directly and was more than fair with the compensation for the mistake. We are season ticket holders and have eaten there many times. The last few times have been dismal. We make our reservations 3 days in advance, as required. We are always the first to arrive, and have been given seats at the long bar intersecting the room. We then request a table below, due to the inconvenience of 4 people trying to converse at the bar, and are told they are reserved already. Since those tables have never been occupied the entire time we were there, I can only surmise that we've been lied to. The last time we were there, we waited over an hour for our food. My husbands ravioli was literally frozen pasta with Ragu sauce poured over it, yuck.. his "adult beverage" was the most expensive item on the bill at $18 and we were told all cocktails were doubles, which it was not. Service for drinks was spot on but service for a couple of simple entrees took about 25-30 minutes, When asked for a side of sliced jalapeno peppers to go with nachos took another 15 minutes.
