Burgers were delicious. Busy place with friendly staff. We stayed in the parking lot as a member of Harvest Hosts & slept soundly.

This place gives neighborhood bar feels. It's cute on the inside and the outside. And the service was great. We had a variety of appetizers, including the wontons, the jalapeño poppers, the brussels sprouts, and the coconut shrimp and everyone was generally a fan. The wontons were a little different, not bad, just different. For lunch we had a burger. Two people had the mushroom sandwich, and had the French dip. The French dip was a little disappointing. It was pretty dry and didn't have much flavor. The mushroom sandwich definitely seemed to be the favorite at the table and the burger was pretty good. The onion rings are decent and the fries were delicious overall this is a solid meal,l. Accessibility: There's plenty of parking, and a small lip to get in the side door. There are lots of different seating options although it looks like the bar is up some stairs. The bathroom is a little bit difficult to navigate- the bathroom door was too narrow for a wheelchair to fit through and there were no grab bars inside the bathroom. I don't think this place is a big secret, but the vibe felt like it was and we were in on it. Unassuming, casual & super low-key, Front Range Inn is that sports bar you wish you could find on every vaca. We drove past them twice before deciding to stop, and it turned out to be perfect for us that evening. You know I'm going to give you context you don't want: we were in Denver to see the Foo Fighters on Saturday night, and this would be our last dinner before flying home Monday afternoon. We hadn't had a proper sit-down meal all weekend so we kinda wanted that, but also wanted something unique to Colorado. We'd checked out a couple of places in Morrison, but honestly y'all, we were tired and the altitude was a lot still, so we just weren't into the trendy pricy atmosphere there. We'd actually planned to see a show at Red Rocks that night but since I hadn't bought tickets yet, & Dave Grohl wore me out the night prior, we decided to skip it & relax. What I noticed on our first drive-by was the Merry Pranksters school bus parked out front. Later we learned that the bus goes to Red Rocks, and Front Range Inn offers rider parking for the Bus To Show service (https://bustoshow.org/) which is very reasonably priced ($35pp for December events). Plus, their website mentions 1st round BOGO drinks for BTS riders. I'm pleased to discover this option, compared to the downtown party busses I'd found. Our server was super friendly and we chatted about concerts & several venues in the area. But what I really want to mention is her recommendation of the canned Sour Rosé that I loved. She really heard my taste preferences, and her suggestion was spot-on. Hubs enjoyed a mushroom burger and side salad. I had the house-brined buttermilk-fried chicken breast sandwich, and was literally overwhelmed. Now, I'm disappointed to see that the single photo of my plate doesn't fully capture the size of that chicken breast. IT WAS HUGE. I can blame the fries, I guess, because I was served SO MANY, and they did hide most of the chicken. None of these statements are complaints. That fried chicken breast was so very good, and the fries were great. To be honest, I'd ordered this meal for the chicken, not interested in a sandwich, and I was NOT disappointed. Unless I'm craving a burger, I'm ordering this every time. Front Range Inn has a sunny dive-bar feel with fantastic food. I'm still surprised they weren't packed on that Sunday evening in early August. We're stalking the Red Rocks calendar for 2025, and I'm sure Front Range Inn will be on our agenda when we decide on a show. [#40 of 2024] read more

A super pleasant surprise! Hidden gem alert. This little hole in the wall is a two minute drive from my house and I have passed it so many times without stopping in. Today, my boyfriend and I decided to come in here for a quick bite before catching a movie and we are so glad we gave it a try! The vibe is very sports bar and Grill divey, with wood brown wall paneling and plenty of TVs. I do love the plants they have, helping give it a nice natural aesthetic. I don't remember my server's name, she had black hair and was very sweet, going back-and-forth between us and the bar. She gave some yummy recommendations, we tried the 10 wing combo with lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan - both were so good!! I didn't expect to love the garlic Parm the most, but I did. I also love their ranch dressing, it has a strong dill flavor, which is unique and tasty. I got the French dip sandwich with the sweet potato fries everything about it was delicious. I wish they would have toasted the bread slightly more, but that is a personal preference. My boyfriend had a Coloradan burger and loved it also. Prices are pretty standard, $17-20 per plate. We stopped here with our RV for an overnight stay. Front Range Inn is a Harvest Host who invite travelers to stay the night and enjoy their bar/grill experience. We tried a Mezcal cocktail, red wine and finished with a beer with our meal. We ordered wings that had a Cajun rub, french fries green chili relleno stuffed wontons and a salad. Taylor was the bartender that not only serviced the bar but adjoining tables. She was amazing, very sociable and gave great recommendations. The inside of the inn has a great vibe and the place was packed. I would recommend eating here it's a gold nugget for sure. After grabbing dinner here this past week, I'd add food to this list of great stuff about Front Range Inn. Like legit impressed, good food. We both had a burger and honestly, it's one of the best burgers we've both had in a long time. Why? Mostly seasoning, I think. The patty was so well seasoned. The fries were also seasoned well and crispy. My side salad was a legit, robust salad. No iceberg lettuce here with some sad tomatoes or shredded carrots. We will def be back. Honestly the food is AMAZING. The staff is great here and there but the owners are just awful. There is zero sense of leadership and they lie about events that reflect their poor judgement. The staff underneath them seem to know what they're doing, but a carriage horse is only as good as the driver and in this case, management (the owners) is just horribly lacking. I'm hoping this review is directly seen not as an insult but a means for growth and some outside perspective. Do better for your business and those who want to support your business rather than make selfish decisions and then blame the consequences on the good people around you guys. Micro management works at times but not for everyone and being a good leader means you need to the different ways to manage people. It's been years since I went here because the last time I visited I was on vacation in Denver. Then COVID hit and this place was closed for a while. Now it's back and better than ever! It still has the friendly staff and welcoming vibe. The music plays a little louder and the lighting has changed slightly to make it feel more like a party. The food is made from scratch including the dipping sauces for the chicken fingers. That's what I got last night. They slice a chicken breast into 3 pieces, bread them and cook them. I opted for the fries as a side dish for that appetizer. Everything was crispy and plentiful! My wife had the Chicken Corn Chowder (soup of the day) and kept talking about how delicious it is. This is not your typical bar food, nor is it your typical boring watering hole. They pride themselves on making the food fresh and the staff does their best to make you feel they are happy you visited. We had Jane for our server and she was great! Check it out! Wow, did I just find an incredible local gem that's only 1/2 a mile from my front door. We were coming home from grocery shopping and opted to stop as it was lunchtime and a cold beer sounded good as well. We walked in and were immediately met by a bright, well lit and friendly place. Clearly, this place has "regulars" and they were all at the bar socializing, having fun, smiling and drinking beer. We sat at a high table near the bar and the bartender, a beautiful and pleasant woman named Charlee welcomed us and took our drink orders. She returned quickly with our drinks and took our food orders. I'm not sure what we were expecting, bar food mostly, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food at this place is absolutely incredible and the portions are huge. My tuna melt was the best tuna melt I've had since living in California and having access to real delis. The service was as open and friendly as it could be and all three of enjoyed our drinks and our lunches. The western burger was huge and the French fries were uncommonly good. Parking is easy, open and safe. It was nice and cool inside and the place is clean and organized. Charlee is an exceptional bartender and server.!Even if the food was average I'd return to see her. If you're looking for a comfortable place to have a cold one at the end of the day, belly up to the bar at Front Range Inn Bar & Grill and chill. When I asked for some sort of tequila cocktail, the bartender suggested a Paloma, which he prepared expertly. If you're hungry, grab a table (or sit at the bar!). Check out the chef's specials. They might appeal to you. The hubs ordered the gyros, and he was pleased. I ate most of his fries--they were hot and crunchy and spiced just right. I also enjoyed my Buffalo chicken salad (part of the regular menu). Lots of fresh greens and blue cheese, and the fried chicken (like the fries) was perfectly prepared. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. It was heavy on spinach, light on artichokes and honestly, the fried potato chips were the best part. The dining room is a little divey, but that's just adds to its appeal. Bathrooms are clean (and plenty roomy!). There's a pool table in back that I imagine some folks enjoy. 5 stars all around! We've lived right down the street for over 6 years and over the past few months, we've been here several times! Under new ownership and we actually met the owner and his family who are super nice and friendly. Drink menu is amazing (the peach porch pounder bucket is my fav!) The menu is incredible with so many delicious options! Love that it's elevated pub food with a twist. The BLT has been a favorite so far. Jason has been our server a few times and is so nice and friendly! Quick service and they don't care how long you stay, they make you feel welcomed and want you to stay. They have arcade games and we especially love the dart board area! Weather finally was nice enough to spend the day on the patio with friends. They had a live musician who I'm pretty sure is the owner's father and they were handing out stickers and bottle opener keychains. Highly recommend this place to anyone! I'll keep this simple. Good bar food, good service. But kind of a divey place, and the ambient still-lingering smell of cigarette smoke was unappealing for me. I guess I prefer something a little more upscale, and that doesn't have the historic smoke residue to go along with its historic nature. read more

Wow. I've lived in Lakewood for 8 years now. I've passed this place probably 1,000 times. I've always been curious but didn't stop in until this Friday night for date night. We were craving wings and the reviews caught out eye. This is a gem. The ambiance is you local friendly neighborhood bar. It's a small town feel the minute you walk inside. The food is OUTSTANDING. I tried the chefs special and the soup was to die for. The wings were perfectly crispy. The burger was clearly made fresh and absolutely perfect. And where the hell can you get a dinner and drinks for under $50 on date night with superb quality?? We will definitely be coming back again. I visited the Front Range Inn and placed a to go order. The order was delayed by about 40-45 minutes which was a long wait and frustrating. The server was gracious, kind and apologetic for the long wait. The meal was comped which smoothed out the situation. Odd as this may seem to say, I felt uncomfortable in the environment and most likely will not return for sometime. I felt stared at, gawked at by the patrons of the bar/restaurant because of how I was dressed. But we've now been to the restaurant/bar twice more and it's just not a spot for us, which is totally fine. Not everything/everywhere needs to be for me. The reason for the low stars is that people, likely regulars because everyone knows everyone's name, have been absolutely obliterated at the bar each of the 3 times we've been here and are driving themselves home. The furniture & decor is a bit dated but very clean. I care more about clean. I know its very expensive to buy new or replace. The only thing I would suggest to replace is the carpeting. The old-style friendly atmosphere was given a new life afted a COVID closure by new owners Jen Rugh and Kevin Carpanini. They have built on the love that neighbors have had for the place since the old days, by bringing in a fantastic menu and a friendly atmosphere. I was with a good-sized lunch group and Charlee served the whole group, attending to other tables as well. She was bright and personable, attending to everyone smoothly and accurately, with lots of smiles and personal connection. About the food, hey it's a rustic-looking bar - you'd expect food like from a short-order cook with a cigar in his mouth and wearing a coverall apron over an undershirt. Nope, it's not like that.
