My girlfriend and I stopped in today as she wanted to "talk" A "talk" is never good in my experience. This place is close to the house and we both know where it is. My first impression was really good. It's open, airy, clean and the staff is extremely pleasant. I had a beer and a burger and both were just right. The beer was icy cold and the burger was hot, juicy and well made. You can or outdoors or indoors or right on the cusp of both which is really cool. The parking is plentiful and the parking lot is safe. There was a few transients in the parking lot asking for change but this particular parking lot near Home Depot has a real problem with this year round. I was quite happy with my meal, my beer and the service. I will happily return. And the best thing? It wasn't a bad "talk". My girlfriend told me she loved me and wanted to ask if we could move to be girlfriends, officially. Of course I said yes. We make a great couple. I love her deeply.

First time here as I was meeting some friends nearby. I had the Ceasar Salad topped with blackened chicken. My wife had the Nachos Supreme. My salad was delicious. The romaine tasted fresh and the chicken was only slighty overcooked. A copious amount of croutons topped the salad. My wife's nachos were gorgeous and were sumptuous. They were meaty, cheesy, and nicely flavored, but the jalapenos were the star. The sevice was excellent and responsive. The tavern is clean albeit a bit rustic.

Classic burger with fries. Damn good for a local dive bar. Goes well with cheap beer.

Cheap, ice cold beer. Stellar burgers. A decidely blue collar crowd. No frills and uncomfortable booth seating. Dog House is petty much everything you could want from a neighborhood dive bar. We really love this place and come back whenever we want to enjoy a casual, IDGAF spot to unwind after a long week. I think what I like most is that whether it's your first or fiftieth time there, the staff makes you feel like a regular. They are as attentive or hands off as you want them to be and really know how to hustle if it's busy. Food doesn't sit in the window and beers are poured and served quickly. It's actually a little dangerous how much you can drink in a short amount of time. We've also tried a few menu items, all of it standard bar food but made fresh and cooked well. No frozen crap thrown in the fryer to save a few bucks. What keeps me coming back are the burgers. Meat isn't a mass produced or cooked into a hockey puck. They're thick, juicy and filling with all your favorite toppings. Nothing crazy or hipster, but still thoughtfully made. We're yet to stick around for late night shenanigans, but that's not really our scene anyway. Come enjoy the patio and a cold one this Friday. We'll see you there.

This place is your typical bar and grill with a friendly neighborhood charm. This is a great place to grab pub food and drinks. The food is really delicious and conistent. We come here for lunch often but have grabbed late night bites as they serve food until midnight. The staff is amazing and a big part of it's charm. It seems they have low turnover because we see the same employees every time we go which is a couple times a month. They always remember us and make a point to say hi. The service and food is always super quick! I can easily get in and out in 30 minutes while I'm my lunch break. This is a great option if your looking for a bite to eat in Bear Valley!!

Ordered a cheese steak. Paid 13 dollars. Sandwich was tasty but pitifully small. Coleslaw was bad. It was like fizzing in my mouth.

The two guys working the bar, Josh and Jake, are super friendly and made us feel like they've known us forever. That was awesome. Such a great neighborhood bar vibe. There's a great selection at the bar. I tried the seasonal porter and went so far to have another when I finished the first one. Josh and I talked about porter beers for a bit. The food selection is great and the food itself was awesome. No complaints. Great sized portions, the Cubano Sandwich exceeded my expectations, and we had the stuffed tater tots (tater kegs?) as an appetizer. Again, outstanding. As mentioned, even though it was our first time there we were made to feel like some of the regulars through conversation and the like. The crowd is eclectic. And, having lived in Chicago for a while, it was fun to do a shot of Malört with the bartenders and some of the other folks sitting at the bar. Go here. One of the best experiences I've had in this type of establishment in years.

We kicked things off with the Tater Kegs basically five mega tots stuffed with bacon, chive, and cheddar. They were insanely good. I could've easily taken down another order, but I knew what was coming next... the wings. These bad boys are smoked for 12 hours, then fried up and dunked in house made sauces that taste like they've been perfected over time. We went with Kicking Bourbon (sweet with a little heat) and Alabama White Sauce (creamy, tangy perfection). The blue cheese and ranch are homemade...you can actually taste the difference and the fries? Crispy, golden, and gone way too fast. To wash it down, I grabbed a local Kölsch on tap; icy cold, light, and spot-on with the wings. And the vibe? Perfect mix of chill and fun. The bartenders were super friendly, the music hit right, and the whole place just had that "local favorite" energy. Honestly, Wild Corgi Pub is one of those spots that doesn't try too hard it just nails it. Good food, good people, good beer. That's all you need. I'll definitely hit this spot again when we return for another weekend getaway!

Any time I go to Denver for a conference, I try to make it out here. I went in the middle of the day for lunch and there were a couple tables and people at the bar, but not crazy busy. Staff is informative and friendly. We got the: 1) Chips and Curry: -It's house made fries and curry sauce. -I'm used to Japanese curry, so I'm always a little bit taken aback when the curry has a bit of sweetness to it, but delicious either way. Slightly sweet and savory curry with lots of layered spices to it. Went deliciously with the chips. 2) English Breakfast: -Comes with 2 eggs (your choice for the style), rashers (thick cured pork), bangers (sausage), baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, and we added some black pudding for $2. -Always get English breakfast when you get a chance to. Filling and comforting. Great diversity of textures and savory, salty, and umami flavors. Gotta get the black pudding too. 3) Scotch Egg: -Comes with spicy mustard. -I LOVE scotch eggs. I'm a low key hardboiled egg enjoyer, so the addition of the sausage layer around with the deep fried breadcrumbs and dipped in mustard? Divine. I will always order this when I see it and this was good! 4) Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich: -You get a choice of fries or tots. We got the tots. -It's made with bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato, and onion. -It's alike a nice twist and upgrade to a grilled cheese sandwich. Sweetness from honey mustard, saltiness and crispiness from the bacon, juicy tomatoes. Good stuff. Make sure to use the mustard and HP sauce. Good stuff!
