8 oz. Center-Cut Filet Mignon with lobster tail and miso sea bass
Todd G.

Awesome experience start to finish. Exceptional service and spectacular food. If you're on the early side, sit at the bar area for an amazing bar bites menu (in addition to the regular menu) including mini filet sandwiches, awesome short rib tacos and many more. Awesome streak cooked perfectly (and you can choose a 6, 8 or 10 oz and add a lobster trail). Ideal miso sea bass. And one of the best carrot cakes anywhere. Will be back

Szechuan green beans from the Wagyu beef set.

Great service with validated parking ($18 for 3 hours!). While this may not be as posh as some other steak places, one thing this place has is good service and great prices (for a steakhouse!). Items we ordered as of 6/2025: - French Onion Soup - $13 - Good flavor and size is appropriate for the price. While not the best we've had, still quite good. - 14oz Dry-Aged Ribeye - $65 - Absolutely delicious! Extremely tender with a fantastic beef flavor. I would definitely get this one again especially at this price point! They also had a Wagyu set when we went (for ~$80 if I recall) that came with 2 cuts of wagyu beef, 3 wagyu dumplings and a Szechuan green bean side. The 2 cuts of wagyu beef were marinated with a soy based sauce (I think) and were delicious and tender. The dumplings were also a huge hit with a great filling. The Szechuan green beans were alright as they were more sweet than spicy. Overall we were happy with the special and would recommend if they have it when you visit (avoid if you don't enjoy marinated beef!). Also of notable mention, their complimentary onion bread is AWESOME and one of the better breads I've had at a steakhouse!

Haven't been here in a while but it's still the best hot lobster roll in town!…read more Get there early to get seated first round. They cram you in like sardines so try to get a good spot! You're most likely be sharing a table with other diners. The mussels in a spicy flavorful red sauce were cooked perfectly. They only came with 2 small pieces of grilled bread. If you like to dunk your bread and soak up all the yummy broth, ask for more bread when you order. The fries dipped in there are also really good! Lobster roll was delicious and juicy on a buttery brioche bun. So much lobster! And the fries are so crispy and salty! My friend ordered the North End Cioppino that comes in a rice spicy brodo with clams, mussels, shrimp, and 2 types of fish (I forget what they were). The broth was ok and the whole shrimp was a chore to eat. The mussel sauce would've been better. Note: one small dark bathroom at end of bar Parking is very hard to find as most are resident. Try side roads or Cross street for some meters if you're lucky.

It was Friday afternoon into evening so makes sense. We came back late night around 9:30pm and waited for like 5 minutes before being seated. The place is small. You're basically sharing dinner with the stranger next to you with how close you're sitting. Thankfully our strangers were cool lol. We tried a variety of oysters, cocktail shrimp, and the razor clams which we heard were amazing. All I'm gonna say is, I would have been annoyed if I waited in line for hours for the items we got. The cocktail shrimp was decent - it was a good size, juicy, and delicious. The razor clams were a miss. Rubbery and too many other things in the dish overshadowing the clams. We got two different kinds of fresh clams which my husband said were okay. I'm not a fan of fresh clams. The oysters were good, but after having been to Row 34, I can't justify standing in line for oysters in a place that doesn't have much else worth trying.

I had eaten at The Daily Catch's Brookline location years ago (it no longer exists), and I always…read moreremember it as a great meal. So when I was visiting Boston with my husband two weeks ago, I thought this Waterfront location would be a great spot for dinner on our first night in Boston. The family behind The Daily Catch opened their first business in Boston (in the North End) in 1973 - a small storefront selling calamari. Since then, it's become a bit of an institution in Boston, with several locations and now a full-service, large-menued Sicilian-style seafood and pasta restaurant. I waited an hour outside their Brookline location when I ate there years ago, and the wait was worth it. People who have eaten at their North End location may remember waiting for a bit, too. But this Waterfront location? THEY TAKE RESERVATIONS. Hallelujah. We had a reservation for around 8pm on Friday night and were seated at our table right away upon arriving. The restaurant is beautiful but understated - not flashy or too modern - with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The service was top notch. Our server was PJ, and he was incredible - helpful, friendly, always checking in with us. But even other people stopped by to make sure we didn't need anything. The menu is pretty large, and I wanted A LOT OF IT. Unfortunately, we were only two people and had to order responsibly. We shared the stuffed calamari (calamari stuffed with herbed bread crumbs, pine nuts, and raisins, and served in their red sauce); a Caesar salad (classic, and we added anchovies on top); their black pasta aglio olio (ground calamari, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, romano cheese, and parsley); and their monkfish marsala (pan-seared monkfish medallions with mushrooms in a marsala wine butter sauce). What I loved? That stuffed calamari. I had it almost ten years ago when I ate at their Brookline location. I remembered it, and we had it again. It's an incredible dish. There's a reason their black pasta aglio olio is so popular. It's a classic and very delicious. The ground calamari is such a nice touch, and the dish is fresh and super garlicky and delicious. (They serve their pastas in the pan - it's something they are known for - a charming touch!) I also think their drink menu is great. I had a great glass (or two?) of wine white from Sicily (Pietradolce Etna Bianco - a 100% Carricante grape wine from the Northern slopes of Mount Etna), while my husband had a cocktail (or two?). The only thing that kept this from being an absolutely perfect dinner was the monkfish marsala. The monkfish was cooked beautifully cooked, but I found the sauce very off. It was bizarre - it tasted like maple syrup to me. I think the marsala was too sweet or not cooked out enough or - is it possible?! - something was added for additional sweetness and the balance was off. Way too sweet for me with the fish. We ate the fish but tried to get as much off the sauce off as possible. The only miss in a meal that was otherwise wonderful in service, ambiance, food, and drink! The Daily Catch is a classic for a reason. If you've always wanted to try it, this Waterfront location is great - since they do take reservations here! Great Sicilian food in the heart of Boston.

Our sever was friendly and took us through all the specials... which ended up being more than half the menu. Food arrived quickly, so overall pretty good service. I was quickly greeted and informed that they were cash-only dining. But fret not, for just inside the doorway is a perfectly placed ATM. It took only a few seconds for me to pinpoint the exact item on the menu that my stomach was craving and my eyes fixed upon...Antipasto for an appetiser and chicken Marsala for the entree. The antipasto dish arrived very quickly and was a beautiful layout. Of course I desired to save some room for the entree but ended up eating about 3/4 of the appetiser before it arrived. The chicken marsala was absolutely perfect, still steaming on the plate as she placed it before me. I told myself I would only eat half the dish and take the rest back to my hotel for snacking later. However, my taste buds are not allow me to stop feasting on this Italian delicacy. If you're ever in the area, don't worry about the other Italian restaurants in the downtown, although I am sure that they are well and good, but Giacomo's is well worth your consideration. My only regret is that I only have one more night here to try another one of their delectable dishes.

Portion size was decent although prices are not cheap (just entree alone will be minimum $30). They specialize in seafood so the only protein options that weren't seafood were chicken or veal. There weren't too many apps that caught my eye, particularly lacking veggies. Service is on the ruder side. They automatically add 20% tip to your bill.

Great meal to end the upper US marathon vacation!!…read more We had no idea where we may end up eating but the trusty Yelp app led us to another victory dance!! Yay for Yelp!! We had just cruised the nearby mall center thingy and were hungry on our last night in Boston. We saw the sites and did the things. Boston is a one of a kind place for sure. This was the choice. It was a great choice! Beautifully decorated and oh so chill inside. We have a thing that we do at places with great appetizers. We just order a bunch of those and feast. That's what we did here! We started with some raw oysters. They were very nice indeed. Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury MA. is where they came from. We love the little local Junts a lot and had them all over the northeast while we were there. We also had Crab Rangoon Dip. Very good, lots of fresh lump crabmeat, with a house chili crisp, scallions, and wonton chips. Loved it! They we had some fantastic mussels to close the deal! The flavor was amazing! I wish I could have them every single day! We also had a bowl of BPH Clam Chowder. CC is one of my favorite things and this place did not disappoint in any way! Delicious!! The server was great.
