Wow! So happy there's a bento option nearby and no need to go to the suburbs for my fix. Chicken katsu and unagi were authentic and very filling. All of the sides were very good, especially appreciated the tamagoyaki. Morikawa will be in my rotation.

I really enjoyed everything from Morikawa! The Chicken Katsu Curry was my favorite but also really liked the Korroke (sweet potato app), Takoyaki (octopus app), and the Yokisoba noodles. Good portion sizes, as this was filling enough for 2 people! Although it was delivered, I thought the service was great!

This is unique because I've actually have not ever had broccoli or green beans with my seafood boil and I would definitely have it again in a heartbeat. I'm in love with the garlic noodles and fries besides the main seafoods. They have so many different deals and promotions, high quality, friendly service! The spot is pretty roomy and can accommodate a variety of different size groups. I also enjoy they provide gloves, a bib, and a sink outside of the bathroom to wash your hands. Hooray for my crazy messiness! Cant wait to go back! Parking can be a challenge but is available in an around the neighborhood.

I was sold after finding out its a Viet cajun seafood boil spot - plus it has really good reviews. I recommend making a reservation cause they can get busy. I like how they write your name on the reserved table - a nice touch. Also parking in the area is scarce so plan accordingly. They have a decent happy hour menu so we were able to take advantage of that! We shared the Lover's Cove for 2, then shared corn bread, garlic noodles, and the spicy cajun fries. The seafood combo only came with 1 lobster tail which is a bummer. We got the crab pad style (cajun) sauce. The sauce was fire. Compared to other seafood boils, this one wasn't as super garlicky. To end the meal, we built our own popsicles with unlimited toppings! Great way to end the meal. Flavors they had were matcha, ube, cookies n cream, birthday cake, blue raspberry, etc.

The restaurant was definitely busy on a Friday night, and we made a reservation for a 7:45 seating and were taken to our table right away. We loved the play on an old neighborhood bar with the fun red and white glass chandeliers that you would find at any watering hole in the city. Funny enough, we discovered Void via a Tik Tok video and came specifically to try the Agnolotti. This is by far one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The sweet potato paired with ricotta, kimchi, scallion and toasted sesame are an amazing touch and play on this type of pasta. We additionally ordered both the house made focaccia and the Spaghetti Uh-O's. These two items are definitely what Void is known for, and we loved both of them. The focaccia was super fresh, and the side of butter with honey was incredible. The spaghetti came in a fun little branded can, which of course added a nice touch to the dish. We ordered several cocktails on their menu, and were so full by the end that we did not order the dessert. The staff was super friendly during the entirety of our time at the restaurant. One item we wished we try was the chicken, which happened to be one of the staff's favorite. We will definitely be back to try that soon. Cheers!

The food started with a complementary potato soup which was flavorful and lovely. We got a round of drinks and one of our party didn't care for her drink and it was replaced no question. We had the flat iron steak, the chicken, and the salmon and each entree was wonderful. The proteins were all very tender and juicy. I was also very pleased with the salad that came first which was lightly dressed and very seasonal. We finished our dining experience with a slice of cheesecake. It was a nice cap to the end of a wonderful meal. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion - I would love to come back and try some of the other items on their menu.

We had the ribeye and the Rotini Bianco, and both were excellent. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. The Rotini Bianco was rich, creamy, and done just right. The ambiance is wonderful, especially when it starts to get dark outside. There is beautiful graffiti to look at as you walk up to the restaurant as well. I think parking is ample, but it would be annoying if you had to use the parking garage that's pretty much next door. We got here before the dinner rush on a Sunday. Street parking is free. Getting right into it, we were instantly served an appetizer of what looked like cherry tomatoes on a vine with a small dish of oil, salt, and spices for dipping. The server said these tomatoes are flown in daily from overseas. It wasn't easy to eat. If you're on a first date, I'd just pop the whole tomato in my mouth, or try to cut the tomato in half carefully without it squirting everywhere. That way the contents of the dip dish will stick to the tomato. Additionally, I ordered us the calamari appetizer with some bread. It was delicious, but it didn't wow me. I had the octopus, and my friends had the beef and the eggplant. All were delicious. I wish I had ordered a larger portion of the octopus. Overall the portions are small, and for what we paid I think they could have come down on the price. It clocks for the area though. Everyone was nice, but if I am paying this much for a dinner, I don't want to watch children running around and making noise either. I don't consider this place a family restaurant. Especially when the focal point in this place is the bar. Desserts were okay. The server gave me a spoon to cut through my flaky apple dessert with barely any apple filling. What was there was delicious. Again, I would say re-think the portions or the pricing. Maybe consider adding a side to the octopus without increasing the cost. Dine here once for the experience. There are better Greek restaurants in Chicago. I would pay the drink prices and come here one more time, late, to check out who is sitting at the bar. I know how this area can get at night. I could see this place being fun.
