We decided to dine here at 3 PM on a Tuesday and needless to say, there was hardly anybody in the joint. We've been wanting to try the MOD Pizza for some time. This is not a sit down and be waited on restaurant, it's more like a Freebirds style arrangement. You select the style of pizza you want and they add the toppings right in front of you the same way a sub shop makes your sandwich. We were surprised how quickly our pizzas were ready in under 15 minutes. It should be noted that this establishment has ample parking and many tables both inside and out. While we were looking for a table to sit at we noticed many of them had not been cleaned so we had to look at several tables before we were able to sit down and even then had to wipe away some crumbs. Sadly they only have one craft beer and Bud Light. They do have some wine splits as well as many NA beverages. The pizza itself is pretty decent but nothing really amazing. Overall for the money it made a quick and easy as well as tasty lunch spot stop. Two pizzas a beer, tax and tip came out to $28. Worthy of 3 1/2 stars. read more

The long line was also made worse by a bunch of senior citizens who were completely mystified about how the build-your-own pizza process works. Old guy: "Spinach? I ordered a pizza!" This is a favorite spot of my child. She likes to build her own pizza: pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers! I've only been met with good customer service. No complaints. First time at MOD pizza and extraordinarily unimpressed. Dirty location. Gnats flying around all over the place. Looked as is the trash hadn't been taken out in hours, and there were flies all over the restaurant because of it. The employees were a bit out of it. They asked the same questions multiple times, seemingly unable to understand what we were saying. I understand it's a bit harder to hear through the masks, but this was a bit beyond that. Almost an under the influence level of misunderstanding/confusion. An employee, who was handling food and wearing gloves, was texting on his phone while wearing the same set of gloves as he was handling food with. Seems to defeat the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place. Food wasn't too bad. Not great, but just okay. Probably won't go back to a MOD pizza again. Not a positive experience. read more

It's so close to our house and it's so quick to get there. We ordered pizza one day and it came out so fast. It was outstanding and it tasted like a perfect pizza. I love all the seating inside and outside. The service is amazing and the people are so generous and get anything you want. I also love all the toppings that they have to choose from. Definitely the best place to take your family to. The thing I like the most is that while your ordering, you can see the people making pizza. Thinking in my head it's probably not going to be good. We got there no waiting in line which is always great . We decided instead of ordering one of theirs we'd make our own. He got his meat pizza not really sure what he got . I got red pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, asiago cheese, spinach, jalapeno, and more mozzarella cheese, with a dash of oregano mix. Multiple issues with tonight's order but most of it was resolved. The last issue that was not resolved was the way it was presented to us, the store ran out of boxes that fit the pizza and rather then going to a different location to borrow some so they could deliver the same mod service they normally do they split the order with 3 slices in two small boxes. read more

Initially when I saw the thin crusts I was concerned, hubby doesn't like that but we asked for the crust to be double and it turned out great, not over done. I'm very disappointed in this pizza at this location and I am usually happy with what I get when I go to a different mods. This was my first time at this location and probably won't order here again. The middle of the pizza is bare with nothing on it. I hate having to come here and write bad reviews. We ordered for the 2nd time here. First time was average I guess. Nothing to report either way. I like that you can pick toppings and the business model is great. We all know most kids are picky, especially a kid with Autism. We thought we would get pizza tonight and said let's upscale a bit over Dominos and we can pick it up. It's a lot already having to take the kid inside but we picked up and left. Should have checked the food. Got home, we ordered a pepperoni pizza with olive oil. She likes it. Instead we got black olives. We tried to pick them off, but she knew they had been there before. Autism brought a meltdown. Tried to call the store from a google search since the app didn't list a phone number and hit the call button provided. In the middle of trying to calm the kiddo down, I tried multiple times and got "your number can't be completed as dialed". After things finally called down 45 minutes later, I tried to search for their number otherwise only to learn the phone number is not right in maps or google. Too late now. Wrong food meant everyone had to eat something else or the two of us that had food ate it cold. Check your food before you leave. $25 meal for 3 pizzas wasted. read more

I've been to a lot of mod pizzas across several states, and generally have had great experiences. This was my first time at this location and it was really dreadful. First of all, when I got there, it wasn't busy at all. There was only one other person in front of me. However, most of the staff weren't at their stations so we were left just waiting. Only one person greeted us, the others didn't engage with the customers at all. They would chat amongst themselves, never making eye contact or acknowledging the customers. One was even on her phone while handling our food, which is ridiculously unhygienic. Beyond just the rude service, the toppings station was not maintained well at all. Some of the staff were just throwing toppings on pizzas, which caused them to fly into various bins and contaminate all of the ingredients. The roasted corn was burnt to charcoal as well. Besides the ultra burned corn, my pizza turned out alright but my cinnamon strips were soooooo tough, it was like chewing cardboard. I regularly get the cinnamon strips at all of the mod pizzas I've been to and it's never been like that. To top it all off, there was a toddler at the restaurant and, as toddlers do sometimes, he screamed. One of the employees ("homie with dreads", as called out in another review) proceeded to scream back at the toddler. A full grown adult.... screaming at a toddler....in a restaurant that they worked at. They had maybe 6-7 people working, but it took almost half an hour for my pizza and I was only the second one in line. None of the staff looked like they really cared, even looking confused when I asked to drizzle honey on my pizza. Every other mod pizza that I've been to has been consistent with service and speed except for this one. read more

We were still in and out in what seemed like no time! (10 mins at most with 4 people ahead of us!) - the carry out pizza boxes are top notch! Instead of flipping open, they have a separate lid/top so you can share your pizza easily with someone else or use it alone without the hassle of having to move you pizza to a traditional plate. Good pizza but even better service. My wife loves the cauliflower crust but when it starts getting cold the crust can get a little chewy. I like the mega dough, it reminds me of a hand tossed dough imo. We usually order to go and have never had a problem with our order. We recently tried the cheese garlic sticks and they were really good. The pizza is tasty but I'd only give it a 3 stars the extra star is for the service. I've been to several different MOD Pizza restaurants and this is the worst one by far. I can't believe it's only been open for a few months. Inside, it looked like it had been opened for years -- super dingy! The employees here all look like they hate their jobs and it reflects in the service. The place was far from busy, but the line was moving at a snail's pace. From start to finish, I was there for 45 minutes to get a pizza to-go. I can eat pizza everyday, so I love being able to get a custom pizza in a hurry. The concept is set up via Chipotle/Subway style. You can add as much as you want topping wise and the price doesn't change. The line moved a little wonky as they ask you at the start of the line what you want, write it down, but the next person asks you all over again when the toppings are in front of you. It just caused for a traffic jam and made the line pile up. It's definitely not my favorite pizza option, but i can see stopping every once in awhile. read more

This has to be the dirtiest restaurant I've ever been to. Not only that but after being here over an hour not one employee cleaned anything despite multiple employees walking back and forth through the dining room multiple times. Finding a clean table is next to impossible so I can only reccomend ordering for take out. But at $8.95 for a personal sized pizza you might as well order a normal sized pizza from anywhere else. We placed an order for dinner which included a salad, a pizza and no name cakes through Grub Hub. The driver then sends us a message saying that this location no longer does salads. Um, what?!?! This was a an issue more with GH than Mod because Mod doesn't have salads on their website. But still, NO SALADS?!?! What about people that are gluten free or doing low carb/keto? Just got a MOD pizza in Pflugerville! I had never tried it before and was curious. I've heard it compared to a pizza place styled like chipotle due to the pick your toppings arrangements. The first time I went it was very close to closing and I believe that's when I had my best pizza. (Although I'm not encouraging that behavior) I recall picking a base pizza and then going crazy with Brussels sprouts and many other toppings which are too numerous for me to express at this time. I was blown away about how very nice everyone was at the counter in explaining the process of how it works in building your own pizza. You can do one of the pre-determined pizza styles and add on to it, or start one of your own. You can pick your pizza sauce pick all your topping about 50 or more of them to choose from. Then they put your pizza in a brick oven and it is cooked to perfection. Not a lot of doe here nice and thin crest that complements your topping choices. You can try it eat your massive pizza there, and if you can't finish it they give you a pizza box to take it home with you. You can also get it to go, or call-in a order for pick-up. They do have salads and vegetarian type pizza too. Located next to Torches Tacos where toll 130 and toll 45 meet up. Go early to beat the line, but the line does moves very fast.
