A few weeks ago, I saw an episode of undercover boss that featured Round Table Pizza. As I was watching the show, it occurred to me. There was a Round Table Pizza location around the corner from me. I' had never really heard of it before watching the show. In the episode, it looked like they had a bar come along with tables and booths for dining purposes. This location does have a bar. It has limited seating and the best I can recall it was limited to beer There was not a TV, so it would not be a place to come and watch a game and enjoy a pizza. I checked out my pizza when they handed me my pizza box. The pizza looked scrumptious, and I was looking forward to getting it home. I took a bite at the restaurant, while I finished my beer and was pleasantly surprised however, it was not as crisp as I remember the show emphasizing their trademark pizza crust. It's a thicker crus crust, but not overly bready. When I got home, the pizza was in need of reheating. I tried a couple of different ways to reheat the pizza, but the best way was using the air fryer, it returned the crust to super crispy. That crust was very enjoyable to eat, and the toppings were simply delicious. My interaction with staff while at the restaurant was limited, but they were very friendly and professional Great pizza. I will definitely order again, but the atmosphere at the restaurant was not inviting me to come back and enjoy my pizza at the restaurant.. I've gone to Round Table Pizza the days in sc rite and every time I ordered the Italian Sub first go around. Bread, spicy REAL Italian style meats, black olives (yes and it gives it a hint of Muffaletta style and perfect kick)... Just completely balanced and awesome. next to try was the meat pizza. And indeed it is the meat that sings.. Real pepperoni and sausage that is great! Their regular crust is perfect thickness/firmness/crisp edge balance with just enough sauce to your it together..... Third day: Nashville Hot Mozzarella sticks. Dark toasted bread, an earthy warm seasoning (maybe paprika ?) followed by a building, deep heat n the chest and nose.... Mmmmmmmmm! Service is excellent! This is a chain I've never heard of until now, but I'm impressed so far. Their pepperoni pizza has a nice slightly chewy thin crust and actually spicy pepperoni with excellent taste and flavorful ingredients. I would definitely be up to having that again but I'm excited to try some of their other specialty pizzas named after King Arthur characters from the legends. I'm happy this is conveniently located for me near the HEB at 1431 and I-35. I'm not a fan of getting through that intersection on the road, but it's still a good location with plenty of indoor seating and a covered patio outside as well. I want to say the experience was good, but there were quite a few mishaps. The customer service itself was great, especially considering how busy they were. We waited in line about 20 minutes just to place our order. After we paid for our pizza at 6:17 pm, we were told the wait would be around 50 minutes. I really wish that had been mentioned beforehand so we could decide whether we wanted to wait that long, but since we'd already paid, we decided to stay. The place was bright, the music was good, but the dining and bar area was extremely cold -- several people around us were commenting on it too. We ordered a large all‑meat pizza, wings, and a salad. Thankfully we had the salad because we were starving; our pizza didn't arrive for over 90 minutes. The salad bar was decent, and once the food finally came out, everything tasted great. I genuinely want this place to succeed, but the wait time was just too long. I really hope they get that part figured out. I'd like to return, but I'm hesitant for now. Finally decided to visit this pizza place that I used to go to back when I was in California and see if they still have what made a great back then. Located over there by the H-E-B off university Avenue a few steps down from the electric vehicle, charging area great corner location lots of dining space inside and outdoors . We were greeted pretty quick walking in wasn't too many people inside. The dining area seemed pretty spacious. Noticed a nice looking salad bar and self serve drink machine that serves Pepsi products. . Didn't pay attention to the menu too much so I went straight for the large pepperoni extra cheese pizza a great standby back then and was wondering and hoping it still had that taste that I recall . The server was polite, very attentive, and smiling, suggested few other things . The pizza was $22 Salad bar $6 andand drinks were $2.25. We were given a Number and took a seat by the window looking outside overlooking the patio pizza took about 20 minutes to get to us very hot. Very cheesy Pepperoni were crunchy. The crust was charred on the outside, which was perfect. Added some Parmesan cheese and wow, definitely five star pizza again as I recall it . Salad bar offerings were plenty and though I prefer a Coca-Cola, the Pepsi was very well fresh . Restroom were clean. the staff was busy cleaning and mopping floors. We got a to go box and took half of it home and definitely will be returning again. Not sure why only three star reviews on yelp, but I guess it's for those who have never experienced the round table pizza back in the days When there was Shakey's pizza and of course Toppers pizzeria back in Ventura County that is still number one and it's pretty close to this one being right up there. 5 read more

I just want to start off that when I found out we were doing 'family night' here, I seriously stopped eating the rest of the day until I got here to save my calories. I was so excited to find out a Round Table was opening in Round Rock. I had high expectations and they definitely were met. This place was AMAZING! The pizza, the customer service, and whatever else you wanna add in there. Yes, it was busy. Yes my ticket said one time and I got it a little late. However, the quality and nostalgia was well worth the wait. King Arthur and Maui zowie are my favorite and what a treat to have them again! I'm happy to wait a little longer if it means this place continues to thrive. Growing up in California, I have so many great memories of Round Table, so I placed a delivery order right away. I recently went to this location of Round Table Pizza and was amazed by everything! The service was perfect, the atmosphere and total look of the store was right on point and the Owner was amazing! As for the food, I know it's the best Round Table Pizza location I've ever had and that's saying a lot! All of the pizzas we ordered were on point , consistent and made perfect to order! Round Table of my youth, or just California Round Table pizza are the best. This one is not. They screwed up our order, made an incorrect pie, took over an hour to get the first pizza which just did not taste the same as a Round Table pizza. Second pie finally arrive about 15 mins later. They did apologize for the delay and mixup. I asked if we could get a coupon to make us want to come back and give them another shot and they declined. Never received my delivery order. Ordered for 3:15pm delivery. Figured they were running late, expected at least a call...nothing. It's 9pm now, and I know they are closed...not a way to keep a customer - especially with so many other options. Also, this is the 2nd time this has happened in two weeks. very disappointing visit to this roundtable pizza. We were disappointed by the manager Alexandria, who was extremely rude to us. I don't think she's from Texas. As well, the brand that I grew up, loving round table pizza is now owned by some Beverly Hills company It has none of the flavor or delicacy of the pizza that I knew, and it tastes flat like a cracker, or frozen pizza And none of the historical Knights in shining armor or round table themes are continued, it's just a 'pizza' place now And finally, the traditional font and signage of round table pizza that was so famous and made it a pizza 'royalty brand' is as cheap as a Domino's sign I guess you get to say everything's generic except the price, $14 for a personalized pizza that's about the size of a slice of pizza you can get for $3.50 We won't be returning, ever read more

Great customer service, and great pizza! The place is clean and good for a casual hang. I usually order for pick up and that works great for us. I recommend going easy on sauces and loading up on veggies. We get pizza here once a month since it opened (sometimes twice a month). This pizza is as good and even better than the RTs in California. I was excited to hear that a Round Table location opened up near me. We placed our order for pick up at 12:45 pm we walked in at 12:40 and was told that our order will be another 15-20 minutes and could possibly be longer as she the worker did not have a clue. I set my timer, waited in my car and went back inside this time the girl worker which I didn't get her name said she didn't know how much longer it was going to be. Mind you I spent $93 with a tip for pizza! This other worker stepped in and asked what the problem was I explained situation and he brought out our pizzas that were sitting on the counter and not inside pizza warmer. Our food was cold and our pizzas were done 1 at a time. This was a terrible experience. We walked out at 1:15 with cold pizzas I explained to the workers that the food should have been prepared ahead of time as I had chosen a time for pick up. I should have requested a refund but I didn't think they were a capable of doing so. The restaurant wasn't even busy. I do NOT recommend this location. Cold pizza. I grew up eating Round Table Pizza so of course, when they came to town, I wanted to order. The first time I attempted to order, they were out of sausage. I through the website for delivery. I didn't realize until after I placed the order that it would be delivered through Door Dash. I was really excited about this pizza place that I loved ever since California and is now closer towards me now here in Texas But after today's order of Pizza, I would say that this place needs some more proper management because the staff wasn't really on it and we had to reheat our pizza once we received it. Ordered our pizza and was told an hour wait...no big deal we didn't mind sitting and enjoying the evening...hour and 10 minutes hits, and my husband goes up to check on our pizza. Was told they would look into it, but you could clearly tell they could not locate the order on the screen. They pretty much blew us off for another 20-25 minutes and we went back up To the front and one of the managers finally told us the order was lost. Pretty crappy customer service. Well... I was excited when I saw Round Table Pizza going in at the shopping center in Round Rock. I finally had an opportunity to get in here. I really like their thick crust and haven't been able to get it since moving to Texas. I went to order and learned they only do the thick crust for a large pizza and I only wanted a small. Since I was here, I decided to simply get the original crust. There was one employee, skinny female with a deep voice that would not stop trying to get me to purchase a large tick crust. I can't even count how many times I told her no. She kept spouting off costs and numbers and telling me to get the large. Each time I told her no and asked her to stop. Finally, I had to move to another employee that was very nice and helpful and got my order in. The pizza is good, but I really wanted the thick crust. I learned they do not make their dough fresh at this location and that's why they only have the thick crust in a large. I believe this is a huge mistake and not sure I will come back. It's not just the fact that I could not get my thick crust in a small pizza. It was how annoying they first employee was and the fact that she was relentless and just kept talking, saying the same thing over and over gain trying to get me to purchase a large pizza when I did not want a large pizza. Poor customer service in her part. I almost left but since I was already here, I ordered because I was hungry. Somebody in management needs to get this employee in check. Cashier got the order wrong. We ordered two pizzas, wings, and garlic knots. We received bread sticks and one of the small pizzas we ordered about 20 mins later, not too bad. We asked for a refund due to less than half the food we ordered was given to us. Andrea the owner and general manager was told by the cashier we wanted a refund. She stated she was a little busy. Several employees asked if we needed help, all of them said they can't process refunds. She was in the kitchen attempting to direct her crew. The entire crew looked lost. We stood at the counter at least 5 minutes watching this until she called out our ticket to the crew at which time we said we are right here and want a refund.
