Paying Customers Treated Like an Inconvenience We visited Mod Pizza as a group of 11 people. Three families including elderly guests in their 70s, for a relaxed dinner on a Friday evening. We arrived around 7:30 PM and were seated and eating by 8:00 PM. The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM. At 8:30 PM, which is a full 30 minutes before closing, a staff member walked into our section and began dragging heavy metal chairs across the floor around us. These are loud, heavy iron chairs. The noise was jarring and completely disruptive to our conversation. We politely asked him to stop. He paused briefly, then resumed in a corner of the same section. I went to speak with the manager. He reluctantly acknowledged the issue -- but showed zero urgency. He finished whatever he was doing at his own pace, then casually walked over and told the employee to handle it later. No apology. No sense that a group of paying customers deserved even a moment of genuine attention. By that point, the damage was done. We had already lost the mood and the conversation. We chose to leave. His response felt like too little, too late. It felt almost a slap in the face after the disruption we had already endured. We spent over $150 on food and tipped generously. We were not being loud or disruptive. We were simply having dinner with family and elderly guests and expected to be treated with basic dignity until closing time. A restaurant open until 9:00 PM has no business making customers feel unwelcome at 8:30. And a manager who can't muster a genuine apology or a sense of urgency has no business managing people. Quick, affordable, and create your own unlimited toppings pizza, yes please! It's still our favorite place when we crave pizza but don't want to eat a bunch of bread. We love their thin & crispy crust and our choice of toppings for a medium pizza at $10 (+ taxes). Staff were friendly and polite. We normally order takeout but this was our first time dining in and it was even better eating it fresh! There is plenty of seating inside and some outdoors. We had a family of 5 in front of us but service was quick regardless! Mod is a build your own pizza, or pick off the pre-made selections on the menu. We got one mad dog and added bacon and then built two of our own pizzas. Three pizzas for under $50 with all the toppings you want is always a win for me! The pizzas are fine, and the employees seam to be trying, but mostly they seem understaffed and over-worked. And I'm so tired of being prompted for a tip after standing in line for an absurd amount of time, repeating my order a dozen times, waiting for my food, and then delivering it to my own table and budding my own table. I think MOD Pizza has become a true staple of the semi-fast food industry, a "build-your-own" style similar to other food chains. I would have to say this location in particular has only given me the best service and accommodation for any thing that I needed or had concerns with. I've never done a review for this location so I thought it's finally time to give them credit they (the staff) deserve. They have quite a bit of space to eat if you want to chill and eat your food; inside and outside, but watch out for the birds they'll get ya! JK lol overall I truly enjoy coming here, I try to customize a different combination for a pizza each time I come and maybe "wow" and employee with creativity! This was a very underwhelming experience. Everywhere you look, the restaurant touts how fast you get your pizza. It was not fast. It was 15-20 minutes of sloooow. And if you have pictures of the food that you're preparing, within your line of sight, then the food should kind of resemble the picture. Especially when making a salad and you are looking at the picture, while reading the ingredients out loud, and still giving about half of the quantity of what the picture depicts. It was a sad, sad salad. My thought was do they charge the employees for using to many toppings? And why didnt they have a scale so it's easy to keep ingredient amounts consistent instead of this crazy guestimate method. And the garlic bread that went with it should not have taken forever to cook. And then of course they show you the tip screen when you pay. Subpar time, quantity and service should not be rewarded with an extra tip. KIDS ARE LOUD! Pizza, salad, and most of the menu is good service is usually great with their pizzaiolos (pizza specialists) making all of the customers' desired pies but more over the workers do their best to give a better experience at the pizza parlor. Today was not the best experience I had with one of the elder servers (or maybe manager‍) they slapped my order never smile nor anyone working there looked happy with her around them and was rude when asking for something else. I'm a benefit of the doubt girl almost to a fault. I have issues with just this location every single time I've come here. So bad once that they provide me free pizza coupons and when I tried to redeem them I was told "oh those aren't valid here." I went against my better judgement today and did an online order and lo and behold .... More issues! I told the girl at the counter that it's my first time trying MOD and she looked so excited to tell me all about MOD pizza. I wish all the ingredients had labels on the glass or something so I don't keep asking "what's this? What's that?" But they were very helpful and accommodating. The pizza is deeeelish! The crust had a perfect crisp and the ingredients fresh and tasty! I like that it's not too oily and that the pizza is the same price no matter how many ingredients you load on it! My kids really love it here because it is very quick and they have little personal pizzas that come out just for them. I should probably get the app because you do get some good deals there and I enjoy the rotational seasonal menu but it's really pretty solid if you want to just have a mix and match pizza. Kind of like a Subway of pizza stores. They do also have a small selection of beers and wine so you can sit and hang out a little bit and I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff there and they have been very patient in explaining the menu to me sometimes and different options and I like that there is one very close to my house. read more

I'm loyal to the Dillon James pizza simply bc tomatoes is a perfect starting base for me (it's their version of the Margherita pizza) You can even ask for glazes and sauces that really make the pizza pop. The cheese stretch is one to observe and enjoy like no one is watching-- and inside Mod Pizza, no one is watching. Everyone is enjoying their pizza or salad or bottled cream soda. Disappointment abound! Delivery delivery delivery... what do places live on these days... delivery! We live about 1 mile from this location. It took almost 2 hours to get our delivery. Look I know we have ordered a bunch from here... one of my favorite pizzas is the artichoke, mushroom, Canadian bacon with spicy sauce... but we have had issues more then once. We actually had to call to see where our order was! Then when it finally got here all of my toppings... this time an all meat pizza... we're on basically 3 slices of the pizzas! Came here a couple nights ago for the $5 National Pineapple Day pizza deal and I was less than impressed. First off they have like 20 people in line to order with only 1 person actually making the pizzas while there were 2 people flattening the dough for pizzas and 1 taking orders. This meant customers were waiting in line 20 minutes or more just to order myself being one of them. Second issue was that with that many people waiting in line why is there an employee standing around with his hat backwards just wasting time laughing and having a good ol time shooting the breeze with people not bothering to help except to occassionally come and ring 1 or 2 people up. Went for a light lunch with my wife today 3/10/19 We had to wait only about 10 minutes to get our order in and that was reasonable to me. The servers seemed a little robotic. Not bad but not good if that makes sense. My wife and I split a mod pizza and we had just enough. As advertised they will put anything you want on it. We did a half and half without any issues. Next time we go I will ask them to cook it a little extra so the crust is crisper. The flavors were good and it tasted good. The store was not as clean as I would expect but not dirty. I've never been to Mod Pizza anywhere - so this was my first time. Based on some positive reviews I figured - how bad can it be? I walked in and the restaurant had very few people. We were asked if that was our first time and after saying yes - were not offered any guidance in the ordering process. We quickly figured it and proceeded to assemble the pizzas. The dough was hanging to dry for a while and already formed a crust before baking. It didn't look good. After assembling the pizza we got our pizzas soon after. The pizzas were half baked - litterally. One half was borderline burnt while the other under baked. The crust tasted like cardboard and the cheese and toppings could not camofluge the entire horrible concoction. First time, last time! It's just horrible food and below par service. read more

My pizza wasn't cooked all the way, I'm missing a topping, the garlic is just about RAW, definitely not roasted, and the ONLY reason why I even go here, the balsamic glaze-was missing from my pizza.
