They just opened up this place in Lakewood and so I decided to check them out I actually like them way better than Pieology they have a lot more variety when it comes to the toppings and you can actually get different sizes in the pizza you can get a personal pan or you can get what it's an 11 inch pizza so that was a good thing to know they do have different varieties of Teas which are really good and their lemonade is also good as well just if you're the type who likes thin crispy crust make sure you tell them to keep it in there an additional 7 minutes to get that crispness. They do have a lot of different varieties of pizzas if you're not into adding your own toppings if you're into getting like a supreme pizzas they have a different name for it or a barbecue Pizza I would definitely go back read more

Was looking for a place for lunch, saw this place and thought pizza sounded good. I walked in and had one guy take my order and make my pizza, I don't expect people to become my friend when I come in, but I also don't expect the "Customer Service" person behind the glass to be rude and not very welcoming, but everyone has a bad day. So he tells me to go to the end and pay, there I meet another not pleasant person. I am not from the area and not sure on the rules here so I asked if they bring the pizzas outside to you or if you wait inside or what. Again another rude comment, so I just waited inside until my pizza was finished. The pizza it self was ok, the sauce wasn't my favorite but not horrible. I will not be back to this location and not sure if I will even try another location. read more

Today they didn't have as many toppings available to choose from and didn't make an effort to refill the bins for the ones that sat there empty. Just ordered two pies online for pickup from MOD location at LBX (near E. Carson St. and N. Lakewood Blvd). When ordering online, I was immediately taken in by the Cauliflower Crust! Before arriving at their website, I had already shopped Fat Tomato Pizza, LW Pizza, Thai Curry Pizza for VEGAN options -- MOD came out on top, offering the most, and INCLUDING VEGAN CHEESE in their options! SMART! I am eating the pizza as I type this, and I am literally rolling my eyes in pure ecstasy as the flavors make theiir way so over my 'test palette', also known as my tongue. If I didn't know better, I would not know this pizza was vegan, and gluten-free. Here is how I built my pizza, try to out for yourself, you won't believe how incredible it is: Cauliflower Crust Pesto Garlic Rub Dairy Free Cheese Red Onion Black Olives Roasted Garlic Tomato (diced) Balsalmic Fig Glaze Dollops of Red Sauce The price is perfect, too! Hubby and I checked out this place since it's close to home and we love pizza. We went in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. What brought us in was a mailer we received in the mail for BOGO. Score. The concept is the same as the other custom build how you like it pizza place. They have just slightly more variety of topping available (I love all the roasted veggie options), different size pizzas for different appetites, and alcohol (beer only I think?). It is slightly more expensive, but the mailed made it super affordable. Overall, hubby and I both enjoyed our meal. Pizza was good, staff was super nice, and the place was clean. If you want pizza on a cracker, this is your place. The crust is so insubstantial. It's basically a big round matzo cracker. It is fairly inexpensive but it's not good pizza. I would trade all these customizable instant pizza places that have cropped up everywhere for one decent pizza joint. They are very hard to find nowadays. When one does open up, it doesn't last because they have to charge a little more for the quality ingredients. Oh well. Came in to have a late lunch with my mom, sister and niece after a "girl's afternoon" of pedicures. By the time we arrived (around 3:00pm) we were all in varying stages of "hangry" from our outing. Ordering is cafeteria style, and their menu is relatively simple. My sister had a vegetarian pizza, my niece had a plain cheese, my mom had their garlic rolls, and I had cheese and pepperoni. Everything was fresh and tasted great. It was our first time having MOD pizza, and we were all impressed. Love their crust which is on the thin side. If you like thicker crust, there's an option to order that, but we all like our crust thin and relatively crispy. My mom's garlic rolls were thicker and weren't very garlicky (which ironically is a good thing for my mom's taste buds). It also had fresh rosemary which added a good earthiness. The place wasn't busy, given the hour so the service was fast, friendly and helpful. Great experience and we'll be back, as well as recommending to friends/family in the area. read more

I asked for extra cheese when she put the mozzarella on, she said only when I'm done at the end. The pizzas sat there before putting in the oven for a good 5 minutes. She was very shy with the toppings. I asked the guy at the end of I could get the fig sauce. After about 3 to five minutes looking in the fridge, he pulled out the plastic salad dressing container full of it, and just poured the whole thing on top. The tables were dirty as heck.
