It was my entire family's first time eating MOD pizza and the pizza was excellent. It's custom Made on Demand(MOD) pizza so it took us a while to figure what we wanted. You can create your own from scratch or begin with one of their starter pizzas where it has a sauce and a few toppings pre selected and you can add to it. Went with 4 MOD pizzas that are 11in each. 2 which were standard pepperoni, tomato sauce, cheese etc and two start orders, the Dominic and the Tristian. I'm traditionally not a fan of thin crust but these pizzas are delicious. Italian style wood burning fire pizza. Not too much bread getting in the way and tremendous flavors. read more

We had a pizza delivered to us. It was the wrong order, the pizza was cold on arrival, the crust was very hard and just didn't seem fresh, virtually no sauce, and did I mention they got our order wrong? Horrible pizza. The only thing I will say that it was a delivery, but I've had pizza delivered through Uber from many places none of them fell below the bar of satisfactory. Tried the katy location- staff super friendly and energetic. You order your pizza in line and pick everything you want on it, they offer 30+ toppings. Pizza is priced by size not toppings. It's artisan style cooked and super fast. They also offer salads and dessert. Place was clean and the pizza was really good. Crust was crispy and toppings were fresh. This was our first time at MOD Pizza. There was a huge line, but they did a great job of getting you taken care of. Overall, what a cool concept! The gents that work at this place are super nice and make sure to get your order right. You can customize your pizza any way you want. We had a Caesar Salad tonight and it was ok. The lettuce is really just stems. We both had MOD pizzas and they were good. We prefer more flavor on our pizzas. The crust is unique! One very concerning factor is we looked behind the counter tonight and it was a mess. Lots of dropped food laying all over the place. One of the gents shirts was sticking out and it kept hitting the pizza as it was being made. Overall, we give them 3.5 stars. Stumbled upon Mod Pizza on accident one day when we were out shopping. Our family loves pizza, so why not stop and try it out? We did exactly that and Mod Pizza has become our go to pizza place every Sunday aka family tradition. Going cheapo on the toppings! A year ago you could get both spicy Italian salami and anchovies. Now, the salami is replaced with dubious "chicken sausage", and the anchovies are gone. I asked for the tomato based sauce and then decided to have them put a "W" squirt of the pesto sauce on before the toppings. No problem. My eldest boy envisioned pizza with a more sparse topside - NOT ME! One of the better pizzas I've had at a really great price. Horrible customer service from two girls ( one Latina with glasses & one black young lady with braids) and an older man with facial hair and glasses with a tattoo behind his left ear. Sooo rude. Sooo stingy. They barely put enough cheese, and only in the middle. Not a moment to even think for the next area of toppings before they were rushing us, and it was not busy. The guy had boxed up my pizza, and I said "Sorry I wanted to add stuff," and in the rudest way said "well whatchu wanted then" .... seriously!? If you've been to Blaze and ordered their make-your-own single pizza, MOD is very similar with a few differences. I had a Mega Mod, and it was more pizza than I wanted. The double-thick crust is too much for one person. The thin crust dough was tasty and light and the toppings--fewer than Blaze--were plentiful and fresh. read more

Absolutely love this place. The workers here are so friendly and truly seem like they enjoy working here. They have a good amount of toppings to pick from and you can add an unlimited amount of items on your pizza! It comes out fast, fresh and tasty! You can add garlic butter to top your pizza off at the end! Always come to MOD pizza because they have many unusual/tasty toppings that you can't get anywhere else and the smallest pizza is only around 6 dollars. I could never eat a full pizza and I like that the small pizza is the perfect size for me. It's really nice how you can add unlimited toppings and the pizza is cooked very fast. I had the Mod w/ white sauce, bacon, grilled chicken, spicy chicken sausage, pesto drizzle, and veggies. It was delicious! The topping were so fresh and the crust was thin (not too thin) and it wasn't overcooked. Pizza was good, but the toppings area was messy and depleted. Seating areas were dirty, even though there were at least 5 employees working and less customers than that. Try another MOD, the last experience at one in Denver was polar opposite of this go around. read more

Update-- has been much better recently, none of the issues below. For take-out at least this was disappointing. Only 1 of 4 pizzas had any measurable level of cheese on them, the rest were barely dusted with it and the ingredients were all falling off. Gluten free crust needs work, this one is very hard and chewy to the point of being almost inedible, though I noticed the pizza that actually had cheese on it was much softer. Portion size of the salad was terrible, bowl was less than half full, maybe 5 bites worth of salad in it. Think this place could be good, but not this time, back to Pepperoni's for now. read more
