I gave this location a few more chances since my first visit and have a slightly improved impression of the food. It isn't the best Peri Peri I have had, but it isn't the worst. During my most recent visit, I had the quarter chicken breast (meaning it is with the wing) and stuck with the Mango & Lime sauce. Additionally, I ordered the Halloumi Sticks with Chili Jam. For my drink, I chose the bottemless option. I only drank their Peach Roiboos Iced Tea each time. The service and atmosphere are friendly and clean, and I love that they have a handwashing sink for customers outside of the ones in the restroom. Sometimes, I just need to wash hands.
Can we start by saying the decor is beautiful! Like have you seen the ceiling? so much texture and color, I love it! they seat you and you can order at the counter, or through the QR code. Water and sauces are self serve. my fries looked crispy, but they were soft....... chicken was good, and tender sauce selection was cool! was all the sauces missed the mark for me, too tart, slightly sour, I didn't think it complimented well.. however, even though I didn't like it, you might! my top choices are Brussel sprouts, and the chicken... the rice tasted like... nobody taste tested it. it didn't come together. I think this may have been a one off experience, but I will return! and I will update my review as well!!!
This Nando's location is charming and located in a very nice area that has plenty of shops and retailers nearby to enjoy. I tried the chicken wrap which was super delicious and the chicken was moist and tasty. I love coming to Nandos to try their different menu items and the different styles of each location. What stays consistent is the service and the seamless ordering and delivery of food to your table! Always a great time!
Good morning to go here for a long time. Our server was great she recommended some things off the menu. I got to have chicken and my husband got the three chicken thighs. The portion on the chicken thighs was pretty small so keep that in mind. I did the extra hot and it was perfect. Their size were amazing also we got the brussel sprouts the red skin mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese and all three were delicious
The mango limeade was really good -- they serve it without ice, so I poured mine over some at home. I got the Sweet Potato Halloumi wrap with added chicken. The sweet chili jam and cilantro yogurt sauce were a fun combo, though it was a bit heavy on the sweet potato. The rice had good flavor but was a little hard and dry -- sauce helped fix that. I also loved their hot sauce bar and tried one of everything! Parking can be a bit tricky, but it's easy to find the spot. Vivian at the counter was super helpful and friendly, especially with recommendations since it was my first time. Overall, solid place -- I'd definitely come back to try something different.
What a nice treat my lunch was today! This restaurant is at the forefront section of La Centerra in Cinco Ranch. It's clean, bright and inviting! There is a menu outside to look over and this is actually where the owner himself saw me pondering and kindly invited me in with notions of grandeur from what their food choices! This was my first time so this was such a perfect intro to a new place! I ordered the rainbow bowl and the wings and was graciously seated at a table. The food came out quickly, hot and gorgeously plated! Very flavorful and decadent. Extremely well seasoned and they have several sauce options on the counter near the soft drinks. I had a great experience here. David, you are a gem! Thank you so much for lunch. I think my lunch and culinary dining couldn't have been better!
I was excited to try Nandos but was unfortunately very disappointed. Service was good and they took the time to explain the menu. However, the sandwich portion was extremely small with less chicken than a Chickfila sandwich. The bread was dry as well. I paid extra for brussel sprouts for my side, which I did enjoy, but spending $15 for this meal (excluding tip - which is automatically 15% on the screen) at a fast casual restaurant is not worth it when other options are nearby with better/more food for less. The flavor is fine but does not warrant another visit.

My favorite sauce to pair it with was the lemon herb sauce. The Mac and cheese was not too heavy and I liked the texture the breadcrumbs added. The coleslaw was a nice refreshing bite to balance out the dish. Good portions as well!
Nandos...what can I say? I am a huge fan. If you love chicken, fast casual setting, variety of options for all, this is the place to go! Once you walk in you are greeted to a table. You can either order through your phone , though I would recommend ordering at the front for your first visit - it may be overwhelming at first. Now on to the food.... The 3 chicken thighs were boneless dark meat. Char grilled, not overly cooked, moist and juicy- the hot peri peri sauce has a great kick to it! The rice was very good but the mashed potatoes are excellent!! The soda offerings are Coke products and it's probably one of the best tasting sodas in terms of fizzy/taste at any restaurant I've been to. The peach tea offered wasn't bad either! Will be back...again and again.
Service at times is a miss or a hit every time I go there. The website is hard to find the free kids meal w/purchase so you have to google keywords. Ultimate disappointment: What is worst (and customers might or might not notice) is the SERVICE CHARGE. What a great feeling of noticing later after being a good customer in the past and present! Service charges are deceptive and shouldn't be allowed. It is mandatory, and it is NOT to provide tips or partial tips. Please google this. It is for the business to collect so they could use YOUR charge to take care of the employees, company's fees, EXCEPT tip. I believe they take a percentage for themselves and the rest is the company's expenses. This will overall give (most) customers to think it's a tip or provide some tipping when it is NOT. This will end up customers giving less tip or none and that hurts the employees. Not a good feeling. Just raise the price and drop this charge. Not happy.
If you love chicken, this is the place to be! They do have some vegan/vegetarian menu options as well. Located at La Centerra, Nando's has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. It is beautiful! Once you walk in, you'll be asked where you'd like to sit but once you sit down you're on your own. The menus are given, but then you are told to order on your phone, which was interesting to figure out. The menu has many options depending on what you'd like, and when it comes to the chicken you can always choose what heat level you'd like. We chose the butterflied chicken with two sides. I chose the coleslaw and French fries, with my chicken being hot. And my boyfriend chose the butterflied chicken with the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. He chose medium. The food came out fairly quickly. There is a bar area to get your silverware and any extras sauces you'd like, along with water. I really enjoyed the food! I wish the dining experience was a little more intimate with service. But still a great place to come.
My first visit was incredibly satisfying, more accurately, I loved it. Ok first timers please know that you walk in and order at the counter or go to your table and use the QR code. I went directly to a table and was sitting there for a while before someone informed me of the process to order. Either way the food is delivered to your table without a long wait. It took me a few minutes to figure this out, explanations the entry way would help. The food is absolutely great, the chicken is very tender and full of flavor. I hesitated to order the peas as my side but really glad that i did. It was one the best style of peas I've ever had. The servers and staff are friendly and attentive (almost too much) which really stands out. The restaurant is brilliantly lit with lots of colorful art on every wall. Ok, the music was a little loud for me but didn't take away from the overall experience. My next visit will be with a bigger appetite so I can fill up more dinner options.

I took my brother and his friend to this location as we caught a movie in Cinco Ranch nearby. We were greeted by the lovely Holloway who explained the menu and the process of ordering eloquently to our table. I've been to the Austin one for takeout but never dined in...this was going to be a great experience. I got the regular bowl hot with boneless breast and although the breast was extraordinarily small, with a bunch of sauce the plate was delicious. I wish there was a little bit more hummus however. Of course I added a hot skewer à la carte because they're the best darn things on the menu. The manager checked on us to make sure we were having a great dining experience and the staff was super nice and accommodating (it was very slow for a weekend). I wish the place was a bit cleaner but it looked like they were preparing for a huge USA World Cup event the next day. read more

First time here . We came in just as it was opening . The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helped us understand how the ordering worked and also belled with all questions . Food was very good and just a nice change of pace from what we usually do. My husband also enjoyed it . I didn't think we would get full but I was by the time we finished. Very great service from Ms Roxy! Very friendly staff. Very great food. I'm happy that Roxy was able to accommodate my comp ticket from last month event from downtown area, at this location. I wish the ticket had the boneless option. I love that she accommodated it, but I had to pay for all the sides. We ordered fries, rice, reed skin mash potatoes, & garlic bread. I'm a fan, the chicken is cooked perfectly and I'd reckon I could go up to extra hot no problem. The half chicken with one side is quite filling and plates beautifully. Love the self-serve water aspect. Need to try other sides, but the rice has hit! Cheers! read more

Nando's is a gem in la centerra! When I walked in, I was met with a wonderfully decorated place that seems a great place to meet with friends or eat solo. The servers are very nice and they explained their menu to ensure that there would be no confusions. The way that you order and pay, is through a qr code at the table. You also need to go to the side of the restaurant to get utensils, napkins, and different kinds of peri peri sauces. I ordered the half chicken (hot) and it was very good! The chicken was tender and extremely flavorful. The side I chose was their mac and cheese and my only regret was that the portion should've been bigger. It was perfectly creamy and the added breadcrumbs highlighted the dish. The hummus was also amazing and I liked their addition of their peri peri sauce. I wished their fries were a bit more crispy, however it was still delicious. read more

Stopped by for lunch today, and it was amazing! The ambiance, service, and food is consistently 10/10! I ordered my food and after a bathroom trip, my food was hot and ready! Nando's is a "quick casual" restaurant with menu options to satisfy most hunger (and heat) levels. I was eager to try the peri-peri flavor, and I was impressed. I ended up ordering the Spicy Chicken Caesar Wrap with a side of peri chips (fries) and peri ranch. The toasted chickpeas inside the wrap added a nice little crunch. The meal was a perfect portion to be filling but not make me too full. I went with Medium for my spice level, and it had a good zing without having to gulp down water between every bite. The peri ranch was great! It was a little tangy and a generous portion which helps justify the $1 cost for the side of ranch. My biggest complaint about my experience was with service. First, I was somewhat confused by the process. I had to wait to be seated and allowed to go up to the sauce counter to sample the spiciness of sauces. However, I then had to go order at the counter. Second, the cashier was not great at answering my questions about the menu--he told me that the thigh skewers would be chewy so to go with the wrap instead when I asked which was a more popular item. The cashier also did not know the beers on the menu nor how to add them to my bill. He was friendly, but just very green and not too concerned about it. After ordering I had to go pickup my own utensils, napkins, and water from the side counter, but before I could even finish that my food was on a plate in the hands of a server. He walked up to me and asked if I wanted my food at my table. Odd question... I said yes, and he set it down while I finished gather my utensils. I never had another interaction the rest of my meal with any employees. The food was unique and flavorful, and I would definitely come back or invite coworkers. I would hope the service team improves to provide less confusing experience. read more

I would say the wings were probably the best thing on the plate. The rice was bland even with adding some of their peri sauce to it. Mac and cheese was okay, I didn't expect much. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday, but I was told it's always busy. read more

I've heard so many good things about nandos and it definitely lived up to the hype! My dad & I both got the perri perri rainbow bowl with a side of the perri perri chips (fries/ranch on the side) and thought everything tasted amazing. So many different flavors blended in one. I will say that the food was on the spicer side though. Very unique dinning experience. The restaurant is decorated very nice and the servers were super attentive. Finally got around to trying this new place in La Centerra. You order at the counter or can scan a QR code and pay from your phone. It has indoor and outdoor seating and has cute South African decor. The manager Shelly was very nice and gave us a run down of the menu. This chicken is absolutely delicious. There are so many bottles of sauce to choose from but I highly recommend the medium garlic. This is my favorite restaurant I have ever been to, and I absolutely love when we are able to come here. Once seated, you can either order online or go up to the register. It has a relaxing and vibrant environment, and catches the sunlight well. They keep the restaurant clean, and have clean bathrooms. Their chicken is amazing, pulls apart easily, and has a variety of fabulous spice levels and sauces. The corn cannot have enough said about it. It tops all of the rest of the corn, my parents included, fire roasted, with large, juicy kernels. I would drive hours for this place, and if you haven't been here, or if you have, you need to go here! read more

Was familiar with Nando's from my travels in Chicago and went there for dinner to try it. Upon entering the restaurant ambiance was relaxed and vibrant. A lot of traffic in this area, but there's plenty of parking on site. Didn't realize locations opened in Houston. First tried Nando's in Chicago. I felt nostalgic and ordered the peri chicken rainbow bowl (boneless chicken breast, medium spice) as takeout. It was not that spicy, but there was a lot of flavor!
