This was yet another wonderful experience from the time we walked in to the wait time on the food and the young lady Jasmine at counter was exceptionally helpful being it was our first time here she took the time to explain the sauces and even allowed us to try a couple of them so we can decide. I decided on the quarter chicken with the hot peri peri sauce, rice and corn on the cob. The Mr got the quarter chicken herbal and garlic with coleslaw and rice and all of it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The place is pretty spacious so it doesn't feel like your sitting on top of each other. We definitely will be back
Our first time here. We were a little overwhelmed with all the options in the vicinity but decided on Peri Peri Chicken and let me say I am SO glad we did! Upon entering the establishment we noticed it was nice and clean, spacious with plenty of seating. We were greeted by Jasmine and she was very nice and patient with us and our questions. She offered tastings of their sauces and was extremely helpful and friendly. Now the food.. AMAZING !!!! The chicken was perfectly flamed grilled with the perfect amount of charged and so moist and juicy. I got the lemon and herb and my wife got the hot and both were delicious. They also have bottles of the sauces available to bring to your table so I put the hot on my garlic and herb and it was SO bomb.. will definitely stop in when in the area again.
Decent food and price. Lots of sauces that is very good to try and the spiciness really hit the spot for me. I ordered the special for the day which had some sides.
Very good and on top was Halal. Ordered 1 complete with 2 side orders and Hummus which was bit different what u normally get at a Mediterranean resturant however tasted good with hot bread. Parking can be an issue as one can experience lot of cars on Friday / Saturday nights.
We were in the area and needed dinner, so we stopped by this plaza knowing that there were many food options available. Seeing quite a few customers inside the Peri Peri, we decided to try. I ordered a Mediterranean salad with peri peri chicken (with lemon and herbs sauce), my husband got the chicken wrap, and we ordered a kids chicken (plain) bowl for my son. The store worker said that the chicken bowl is their most popular item. Food arrived fairly quickly, and I really liked that all the available sauces were self-serve and you can just grab whatever sauce you liked. They do put the sauce you requested on your chicken before serving it to you though. Chicken tenders were well seasoned and not overly salty. It was also juicy considering that they were tenders (easy to over cook). My favorite part was that all the chicken had a nice charcoal flavor, and the outside of chicken wasn't burnt to death. Yum! Salad was fresh and my husband loved his wrap. Their rice (in the rice bowl) was also fragrant and well seasoned with spices. We all enjoyed it very much. There's also quite a few levels of spicy sauces, including the inferno sauce, which is their spiciest level. if you are a spicy lover, this place definitely has you covered! My only complaint about this place is that the rice tasted like it was reheated and not freshly made. Considering how fast the food came out, that really isn't a surprise. Nevertheless I still enjoyed our meal a lot and would come back. I got to chat with one of the workers after dinner, and she told me that the chicken is Portuguese inspired, while the sauces were African inspired. What an interesting combination of cultures! Definitely come check out this place if you're in the area!
Peri Peri was merely satisfactory. I wasn't particularly fond of my meal, which consisted of lemon herb chicken and a side of fries. While the meat had a grilled flavor, it was an unusual taste that didn't appeal to me. I can't say I'll be coming back to this average chicken spot.
Recently went back to Peri Peri Factory for their Peri Peri Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich. So good and you must have the Peri Peri Fries. Goes great with their Garlic and Hot Sauces!!!
Ordered: 1/4 Peri Peri Chicken with 2 sides Verdict: The service was quite reliable even at early dinner time. The peri peri chicken is legit as I'm used to Nandos except for the smaller portion
Food is Delicious & Fresh, fast service , Katherine greeted us and made sure we were satisfied. Clean and relaxed ambiance . Don't mind driving 45 to an hour away to visit this place .
Quick service. The portions were really big and the e wings were huge. Inferno flavor was actually a little spicy! The rice and chicken was a bit dry but still had great flavor.
I live across the street and this was my first visit. I will be visiting again. Kids ordered 18 mild wings with sides, I ordered a four piece wings with mango lime sauce. The wings were really fantastic, more tender than most. And the sauces were fantastic. The mild was bright with hints of tart and sweet and the mango lime wings were even better. The garlic sauce was okay but tasted strongly similar to ranch. Kids really enjoyed it and I was pleased as well.
Updating review based on most recent visit. Since there are no peri peri restaurants in Austin, I literally make trips down to Houston just for this. I took one star away due to consistent issues when placing orders (sides end up not being brought to our table, and last time I had to convince the cashier that we had paid for the sides we never received). Customer service is a bit lacking, but the flavor is great!
I've never had Peri Peri chicken before but after I tried the Peri Peri Factory, it quickly became one of my favorite foods. My favorite dish to get is the boneless chicken rice bowl with inferno sauce and the peri peri fries. The rice bowl portion is huge and I usually have to take my leftovers home. They have extra bottles of all the sauces that you can take to your table and I always grab a bottle of the inferno and garlic sauces to douse over my rice and chicken. The peri peri fries are so crispy and a must-try imo. If you are a spicy food lover the inferno sauce is also a must-try! It's my go-to and even though it's spicy, it is packed with flavor. My experience with the service here has consistently been great and my food always comes out quickly. This is definitely one of my fave restaurants in Houston, I just wish they had more locations!

So my coworker loves this place and I have been wanting to visit since I saw it being built (love the Peri Peri chicken I used to eat in Hawaii and I love Nando's when I travel abroad). We were the first people there on a Sunday morning (note they do not open until noon, we got there at 11:30 and had to wait) so we got extremely fresh food. The back of the house staff was courteous (they were running food), but they counter lady had kind of a blah attitude. My girlfriend and I both went with the grilled chicken breast bowl. She went with the salad as a side (note they don't really have salad dressing) and I went with the Peri Peri fries (French fries with spices/seasoning). The bowl was just rice and the chicken, decent but nothing I would crave. The fries were good. Maybe I just failed at ordering because everyone else in the restaurant had orders that looked a lot better. My biggest failure was that I did not realize they had grilled chicken tenders. My coworker said I should have gotten the crispy chicken sandwich (her go to). Will I be back? If I'm on that side of town, I will give it another try and get the crispy chicken sandwich. I am not going to make an out of the way trip though. read more

I've been to this restaurant in south Africa and in atl so I was excited when I saw it here, but disappointed when i tried it out. To start off we got 9 wings that tasted like i likes the grill itself. Too much charcoal. However their french fries are delicious and so was the hummus. The chicken wrap is a 3/10. Super plain. Chicken is tasteless. I think I'll just try the rice next time. This place is not a no for me, I just have to tell them easy on the wings. Beside that it was a good experience. read more

I have not been back here for a while use to really loved their food here. Always used to eat as dine in, but today it's takeout and I think the chicken is a bit drier and not as juicy. I came in 30 or so mins before closing so maybe that might have something to do with it? I think they use to also have better takeout containers. Other than that the food is still fairly good. Not going to drive out of the way for only take out next time, but If I'm in the area for a sit down I'll come back. read more

Recently, I have dined at this restaurant twice and here is my review. The first visit was for lunch and to try their chicken breast burger with a side of Peri Peri fries for $9.80. I chose the mild setting for my spice level on the chicken. After ordering at the counter and being assigned my table, I went to their self serve drink station to get my beverage and then took my seat. The food came out in about 10 minutes. It was a big sandwich with the chicken sticking out on both ends of the bun. The sandwich was dressed with lettuce and tomato and the meat was moist enough and not very spicy at all. I enjoyed it and liked the Peri Peri fries even more. The proprietary seasoning that is put on the fries is very flavorful and I want more of those. My second visit was at dinner and I chose the 1/2 chicken meal (again with mild spice) and a side of cole slaw. With soft drink and tax my cost was $16.95. Again about 10 minutes later my meal was delivered to the table. Looking at the meal my first impression was that the chicken pieces looked small. However I must say that the meat was juicy and very flavorful. Yes, I would have liked the bird to be larger but what I ate I liked. Next time, I will go up one level on the spice level because this meat wasn't spicy but full of Peri Peri's regular cooking flavor. The cole slaw was cool in temp and tasted good too. This is a very good place to eat. My only slight concern is that for the 1/2 chicken meal with one side, drink and tax, $17 is on the expensive side especially at a counter service restaurant. read more

I had my first taste of peri peri during quarantine when we wanted to eat something relatively healthy. Even though takeout, the service was something left to be desired. However, the food kept bringing us back, and finally we decided to go to the actual location. Walking in, you have your counter where you place your order and you get a number where they take out your order to you. I was most excited to try out all the sauces available. Again, the service was tlackluster. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't there. No emotion from the employees and they did not look like they wanted to be there. Only reason I docked a star was because of the service and fries Makes for a awkward ordering experience. Everyone raved about the fries but they looked and tasted like any other fries. I saw in other pictures there seemed to be seasoning however mine lacked it and because of the service I didn't feel like asking if I ordered the wrong. Definitely come here for the food not the service. read more

This is most definitely my new favorite spot for meat over rice, and yes that's with them only having chicken as the only meat to offer. I wouldn't quite say it's the best out of them just Bc it's a little different, a nicer dine in. The rice is very tasteful, and the food in general you're able to tell is made very fresh. The thing I love most is that they have a good amount of sauces to offer, all very different and relating to their spice levels. Peri peri factory is a solid, reliable option for good food. I usually opt for the chicken and rice bowl, which is delicious. I requested the "hot" level and it wasn't very spicy so I'll go up next time. The fries alone are honestly a big hit. They're so crispy and perfectlyyy seasoned! I also love their wings, they're so unique. The garlic sauce is amazing as well. I like that they offer different sauce options on the side, because it really adds to the experience and allows you to try the other flavors without totally committing. Overall I always have a good experience and will return! read more

Peri peri is your chicken really Zabiha halal? I would think if it was it would be advertised somewhere in the restaurant. I have sent an inquiry to the contact us link within the site, awaiting a response anxiously.
