As soon as I got out to pickup my pizza, I could smell delicious Italian meals in the air. The aroma was so good that I added another takeout item just to hang out. Stopped by for dinner with my family and got a vegan veggie pizza and a chocolate chip cookie pie and everything was delicious! Also Ian was super friendly and helpful to not only us but everyone that walked in. Although the sitting area was not huge it was very welcoming. Ambiance: Visited godfathers pizza last weekend. It's a cute small location; they had positive reviews and after seeing pictures of the monkey bread , we had to try. Order: All meat combo / Hot Stuff combo / monkey bread The pizzas were great. The dough was perfect, the sauce was good and the toppings were to be expected. The monkey bread on the other hand was very disappointing. It wasn't moist and the cinnamon just sat there. Service: The service was great, everyone was nice and help with out decisions for the pizza (high recommendations) Overall Experience: If I'm on this side of town; I'd come for the pizza but wouldn't recommend the monkey bread. read more

Was looking at the menu online and there's a couple of different crust options and I didn't understand the difference. So I called in and spoke with one of the most pleasant people, wish I remembered his name so I could include it here! He was ready and very happy to explain it to me. So, all of the pizzas are made with the same dough, but the original is pan style and more doughy/thick, the golden is buttery and less dense and more flakey, and then they have thin crust (self explanatory). I went with the golden option :) Before I ended the call, the gentleman asked if there was anything else he could help with, and when I said "Nope that's all" he said he looked forward to seeing my order and "God bless you". We were in town at Hermann memorial and this place was close and had good reviews so we tried it and the guy in the elevator was like oh godfathers pizza is the best pizza out there they had closed all of them down except this one. So I had a good feeling about it. We got pepperoni, chicken bacon ranch, cheese sticks and caramel monkey bread. All were 5 out of 5 stars. Excellent! High recommended. read more

The pizza and desserts are excellent. The one thing I've tried that wasn't crazy about was the bone in wings. Flavor of the buffalo sauce was great, the wings however weren't crispy at all. I put them in the air fryer for about 10 minutes and they still weren't crispy enough for me. They were also pretty small. Overall great pizza though read more

I remember this place when it was on Bissonnet and Diary Ashford back in the late 90s the recipe is still great ! Don't let the hole in the wall look fool you the food and service is still bomb . The manager was very great to us he had me going down memory lane ..great customer service . My friend ordered the medium pepperoni pizza which was hot, and super cheesy - it literally had the perfect amount of cheese pull. Best pert, was that it was delicious. He is a super picky eater but he loved it. I don't even like pepperoni pizzas and I have to agree. I got the cinnamon monkey bread which was to die for. I'm the bread tasted super rich kind of like a soft biscuit. And it was the perfect level of sweet. It also had a great amount of cinnamon and icing. So I've never eaten at this chain before, saw all of the good Yelp reviews and said let's give this a try! This was average or below average pizza. Bland crust on the thicker side, a lot of sauce, very greasy, and the ranch isn't even homemade. I'm really confused by all of the great reviews. This area surely has better options for pizza. Ok so we heard about this place. When you see it yeah it looks like a little hole in the wall but you know what they say about those places. They are the best place to eat! Well it sure is the case with this place, the pizza is absolutely amazing and delicious! It's that thick Chicago style pizza. Our pizza was the meats and it was so good! We ordered carry out and there was a nice old man there that gave it to us and it was that simple. We opened the box in the car and it looked so good we didn't even drive home before having a slice! Probably the best chain pizza in Katy. Staff was friendly, food was good, the order was made correctly (a problem with other places.) I've ordered from here twice and I noticed an attention to detail is used when making the pizzas. The topping are evenly placed around the pizza, not just thrown on and pushed about. The cheese is evenly spread around without bald spots. It's neither undercooked nor burnt. I do not know if this shop is run by a manager or the owner, but the person greeting me and taking my money seemed to truly appreciate my business. The drawbacks: It has always been a bit pricey, and the specials are for combos I'm not interested in buying. I want pizza specials sans side items. Chicken wings, dessert, or potato wedges is not what I desire. They finally had a special for two one topping pizzas which is what I used. Had a Taco pizza and it was just like getting one in Omaha which is where Godfathers pizza was founded. I was very happy with the quality of the food.
