I read an article that listed the best fast food burgers and Culver's was in the top five. This created a new quest for me to try the top tier. Culver's restaurants have an attractive dining space which I like much more than the very popular fast burger chains. Their menu offers so much more than a variety of burgers, fish sandwiches, fish platters and chicken were options. My order included both a burger 3/5 and a fish sandwich 4/5. The burger came with double patties but was dry relatively small in size. Their North Atlantic Cod was really good topped with a very tasty bun. Culver's fries 3/5 needed salt but the Cole Slaw 4/5 has a good flavor but was drowned in dressing. I would recommend Culver's but my future visits will be for menu items other the burger. read more

So I came to Culver's after I saw an article where butchers ranked the chain's burgers as one of the top 3 fast food burgers. Well. The burger is ok.... kinda dry & not so impressive to me. I didn't realize their 'standard' is a double patty burger but you can order it with a single patty. I understand it's fast food but I do have some fast food burgers I find enjoyable. The fish sandwich, however, is good. I added tomato & onion which definitely added to the taste. I tasted their ice cream concrete (soft serve custard cup with mix-ins). It was soft & creamy and they have many mix-in options. They are also known for their frozen custard (ice cream) so maybe that's a better option for me. I will say the establishment was quite clean. The worker taking my order & the manager were friendly. Also, they have a pretty extensive menu...seafood (fish & shrimp), burgers, & custard ice cream mixin & malts. Although they didn't jump to the top of my fast food burger list, you can try them out and see for yourself. I may try the burger one more time, but if I made a future visit, I would more likely stick to the fish sandwich or the ice cream mixers or malts. My rating is a 3.5; I'm rounding down because I'm not likely to return soon. read more

Just okay. The food isn't awful but unfortunately it seems they can't get orders right! I first visited and asked what the ButterBurger was. They explained that it was just a buttered bun. I said I didn't want butter on the bun, so the employee and I agreed the Deluxe Burger made more sense. I ordered that and ended up with meat in a box on a bed of lettuce with no bun at all. I was headed to the airport for a business trip and figured I'd call to give the manager a heads up that this happened as I didn't have time to turn around. The manager kindly offered to mail me a coupon for a free meal to recognize the mistake. Well I just went to use the coupon and ordered the same burger with no cheese and no mayo. I got the burger and of course it had mayo on it. I also received no napkins in the bag. Just odd for a fast food restaurant. Anyway, seems like this is a training issue from management and ownership as neither employee who took my order on these two occasions repeated the order back. Seems like they could potentially avoid a lot of issues if they did so. First tired Culver's in chicago so happy they opened up near Katy. Went there today for lunch with my dad. he ordered the butter burger fries and drink i had the fish sandwich onions and drink. Since i has been at Culver's in chicago i added an order of cheese curds. Service was prompt and friendly and the ambiance was nice relaxing quiet and very clean! I wanted a malt so we stopped at Culver's. For some reason the shakes & malt are melted when they bring the order to you. I ordered a sourdough melt, I want to say that the black stuff is onion. Yea hit the drive thru at 1 pm took 15 minutes to get my delux double burger - ordered it on a gluten free bun - the burger came in a box with lettuce cheese etc but the bread was microwaved in a plastic bag - I had to put the sandwich together inside my car? Arrived to a line about 20 people long with no one taking orders as one register was tied up helping someone with a receipt. The manager, Mahndi, looked at the line, told her coworker not to worry about it and basically stood around staring at the kitchen with her back turned to the line. All the customers were talking about it and getting frustrated as it was a busy Friday night. I went to Mahndi and asked if someone could take our order and she said no because "Per procedure, they close the registers at 9pm." I said "but your hours say open til 10" and she said "again, per procedure, I close the registers at 9." I said "but what if you are busy? Do you want all of these people to leave and the owner-operators lose out on easily a thousand dollars in business?" And she reiterated that per policy, she closes the registers at 9. The last few three times we have came to Culver's the order was cold but yet we waited for it to be made "fresh". This play has gone downhill since April 2025. I love Culver's! We drive from Katy to eat here. It's the first and maybe only fast food place that offers broccoli instead of fries. We have a toddler and we try to offer him healthier options. The butter burger is always delicious! The customer service is good. I recently tried two of their limited edition flavors the pretzel pub burger and the strawberry pecan chicken salad. Both were great but I really enjoyed the salad. It was fresh and tasty! This place is perfect for families. We often see little ones with their parents and grandparents. With the kids meal you get a scoop of their ice cream and they have great flavor combinations. Also the food is reasonably priced and filling. Definitely worth the drive! read more

I've been to this location many times since they have opened now. They are usually swamped during lunch or dinner rush times, especially on the weekends. The staff is very friendly and hard-working. The food is super hot when it arrives each time. I have not ordered through the drive thru line since it always looks long with a long wait time - similar to what I see at Whataburger, too, with people waiting long after they have ordered. I've had the chicken strips and grilled cheese kids meals for my boys, the fish sandwich, fries, and cheese curds for myself and my husband has tried various burgers and their patty melt. I truly love their flaky, thick fish 'patties' and the crispy french fries. My boys like the grilled cheese sandwiches a lot and do not like the flat-ish chicken strips (though they will eat chicken strips/nuggets everywhere else except here.) The price for a grilled cheese kids meal is the same as the chicken strips, which makes it a pricer choice, and, and nearly $7, pricey for a kids meal. The free frozen custard does make it better? Keeping track of the brown strips for kids meal points later on is tedious, but at least that's an option that other places don't offer. Their cheese curds are super good, though sometimes too salty and too much all at once. Their drink selection is pretty nice, too, and different from other places around here. I love the root beer here and definitely recommend it. Add some of your vanilla ice cream to it and you have an instant float! They are very clean inside and the workers are helpful as well. I like that they bring the food to your table once it is ready and, while it can take a bit to arrive, it's always hot and fresh. We have plenty of workers who are delivering food to other tables stop by to ask if we need anything or to take our trash for us. read more

I understand that this is a new location with new staff but the customer service is terrible. In addition at one visit I made two orders. One for at the location and one to take to go. The first order was incorrect twice and the to-go was incomplete where the primary items were missing. The following day I when back to speak to the manager about not receiving the food I paid for and the manager basically shrugged and then said okay. Great food for a "drive thru". I say that only because you do have to pull to the side and wait, but your food is super fresh! I've come a number of times. I had been to Culver's when I was working in Nebraska, it was always pretty good so I was glad to see it come to Fulshear. Sadly my recent visits have been pretty poor on each of my recent visits I got the wrong order or my order was not correct. The staff all seem eager and generally courteous, but poorly trained and overwhelmed with no manager (at least visible or available ) to guide them or correct issues.
