This was my second time at the Katy location and both times were a hit. I got the walk it out burger and dog ( both wagyu ) and the burger was consistently good. I had to get the dog this time around and I'm very glad I did. It was loaded and delicious, I don't even know how I finished this meal. Big back problems I guess lol The service was good and the ordering at the kiosk was easy, convenient and helps you get exactly what you want. The ambiance at the establishment could use some help. I'm not sure if they have a designated sitting area but if so, they should make it to where you can eat there and not only in your car or at home. Unless you want to of course. It's in a good location. Overall the consistency with the food is there and if you don't mind the prices, you will leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face.

Recently tried @juicy_joint_burgers, a hot dog, and a smash burger food truck in Katy, TX. I went with the Jalapeño Groove Sizzler Smash burger and the Walk it out fries. first off, the smash burger was just great, perfect beef to bun ratio, the signature sauce, and jalapeños were a perfect addition to the burger. Next for the fries, which consisted of fries, 2 smash beef patties, cheese, signature sauce, and jalapeños. overall, it is very good. It's definitely a great spot, and I will be back to try the wagyu burgers.

I recently ordered their sliders and they were delicious. Perfectly portioned with all the flavor of a full size burger. I always enjoy my burgers from here!

The setup is a little unique. It's located in the back of another restaurant, and the official way to order and pick up is through the drive-through. I didn't know the rules yet and walked in, but honestly? Didn't matter. From the moment I stepped inside, I was treated like family. Super welcoming from start to finish, from ordering to walking out the door. The young ladies working there talked me into grabbing dessert, and they weren't overselling it because it was just as good as promised. When I picked up my food at the window, they even tossed in a fresh lemonade as a bonus... which was so good I didn't end up sharing it with my wife on the 25-minute drive home (sorry, babe ). I'm gluten-free, so I ordered mine without a bun and it was still fantastic. My wife said hers bun and all was just as delicious. Great food, great people, and an easy spot to add into the regular rotation. We'll definitely be back.

So, I've been to Portillo's in the Chicago area and loved it. So glad I found this one in Katy…read more The Italian beef with cheese is so freaking good. It's messy and delish. You will need a lot of napkins, a lot. The regular Italian beef is also good. We usually have to order them to the house to quench our beefy desires. Now, that there's one near'ish me. I'm going! I dream of that Sammie (sandwich, for non Sammie eaters). As I write this, I can almost smell it. Ps. Don't pass on the Italian Giardiniera. I like the hot one. Marconi's from the Chicago area as well! I also order that for home use. Bon appetites! As for building ambiance and what not. Typical for chain restaurants. I don't go there for that. The ppl were nice and the place was clean. I do like to an early lunch to avoid the rush. Peace out!

Restaurant was pretty clean, not super clean. They announce your pick up number over a muffled speaker which is almost unintelligible, so you really have to watch the screen. Overall, eating in the restaurant is a fairly cold, corporate experience. But I have to say, the beef sandwich was really good. Fries were solid too. Maybe ordering online and eating at home might be the play here. Go for the food, not the atmosphere or customer experience.

The ambience is wonderful a bit close together. I will be honest, but it adds to the intimacy. I would not call it romantic but I would call it extremely social and a pleasant, pleasant experience. Next is the service and Isabella was our server and she was spectacular. Very patient providing explanations of things, providing an opinion when asked hustling and simply being a pleasure to deal with. I really can't say enough good however I will tell you that this is what you belong for when you pay for food and drink at a restaurant. Next, of course, was the food and drink. Let me just go to the bar which was absolutely perfectly executed. I had old fashions with bullet rye, and I had a pistachio Carajillo for dessert. Every drink was perfect. Then there was the food, which in my case was an Asadero burger, which Isabella described as spicy and she was correct but what a wonderful wonderful hamburger. We didn't go specifically for hamburgers however, that is what I ended up with and I'm very pleased. It makes me know that I will return for other entrées. On top of that I had truffle Parmesan fries, which were spectacular. As I say, I don't know how long this restaurant has been around, but as crowded as it was, I can only hope that it will remain for very very long. It is a wonderful experience and should not be missed.

There was nobody at the register however. There are two kiosks but I refuse to use them. This is just anyway to avoid hiring. I had a number three which is two Chicago's with fries and a drink. My wife ordered a fried CHICKEN sandwich with cheese and bacon. She also ordered fries and a shake. The order was stamped at 3:44. At 4:03 our order was finally ready. They put the bags on the counter then made her shake. When she opened her sandwich there was her cheese and bacon on top of a HAMBURGER! After waiting 20 minutes they had to remake her meal. Meanwhile my dogs and fries were cold. In all fairness the manager refunded our money but a $33.00 meal in a very slow restaurant should have been correct the first time. All that said, the quality of the dogs was fair at best. The fries are crinkle cut and from frozen. I have had better Chicago dogs at James Coney Island but they have closed several stores close to us.
