This place is crazy. They have Korean corn dogs, boba, bingsu, and mochi doughnuts. We originally actually just came here for Mochinut, which is integrated into this restaurant. I wrote a separate review for it. My group of three shared a large mango & strawberry combo bingsu. I normally like bingsu, but this one really lacked flavour. I think the condensed milk was only at the very bottom, so the ice was pretty flavourless for the most part. The mango and strawberries tasted fresh though, especially the mango. We also split a strawberry cream puff, which was light and airy with tasty dough. They have a small selection of board games, and we had a great time playing Ticket to Ride. This was the perfect hangout spot to spend a few hours with friends, and it didn't get too busy even on a Saturday afternoon. It was loud though. I saw they have wifi and a couple of people were working, but I don't think it's a good place to study during peak hours.
Came here on a Tuesday evening. Got the mini sized mango bing su. I like that they had a mini size because I was so full from dinner but wanted something sweet. Also got the original flavor mochi donut. Wish they had more selection of flavors. Ambience was cool. There's a selfie wall. Service was quick.

They didn't have a couple Ramen machines if you will where you can make Ramen that they sell. The bean soup is good and the loss of the one stars is because the mangoes were sour not sweet And it's above average so I recommend and would be back.
The bingsu is so good here, along with the Korean corn dogs!! I came to try the viral Korean donuts... but it was a huge disappointment. They're not made fresh. They were stale, and not even the whipped cream could make up for it. I ended up tossing almost half of the donut. At one point I was forcing myself to eat it just cuz I spent the money for it. Total letdown but at least I gave it a try. The way it's showcased on social media is overhyped. It was pretty dead when I went on a Friday evening. The service was okay, and the inside is still the same, they just added a lil backdrop near the entrance for cute photos!
We got their mango and strawberry Bing su (Korean shaved ice) - we and our kids enjoyed it. It was sweet but not too too sweet. They also have hot dogs and mochi donuts.

I like how it's served in the metal bowl, though the plastic spoon has a basic shape. The ricedogs are usually a hit but were too oily this time. The batter was soaked in oil, which is unusual for them and a glaring difference to the competition that's nearby. The cheese pulled really nicely. The mango habanero sauce was sweet and a little spicy. The staff were friendly and asked which sauce I'd like.
Love the ambiance and their variety of desserts. My daughter loves their shave ice with strawberries and mango. It's so refreshing and s has so much flavor.

Really enjoyed my visit to Bing Su. Tried the churro mochinut. It was delightful. Churro flavor with the slight chewiness of mochi. Just perfect. Also tried the strawberry cheesecake bing su. Must try! The cheesecake bites were fresh and so were the strawberries. The condensed milk with the shaved ice makes for a perfect dessert. They also have the Korean style corn dogs which are worth a try if you've never tried.
Why 5 stars? Because I truly wish I could try every single item on the menu. --- --- --- My pal Brittany S was recently in Houston and posted some amazing food photos from a little adventure she had. I immediately let her know that I NEEDED to know where she got all of those little snacks. I imagined she went on a little food tour, but nay, she got all of them in one place: the other (original?) location of this business in Bellaire. I was in Katy and planning to make a final stop for the evening at said OG location. But then I just happened to check to see what was near me. And much to my total surprise, I find out that they had a Katy location, less than 2 miles from where I was. What amazing luck! And then I pull up to see the most glorious shopping plaza I think I have ever seen in my entire like: Katy Asian Town. WHAT is this place?! There must be 50+ businesses, pretty much all of them serving various types of Asian food. It's basically just like Bellaire, but everything looks and feels brand new. If I lived in Katy, I would pretty much live in this parking lot. As for my experience here, the reality is that I was not even slightly hungry when I arrived. But if you know me, I will always over-order when I am visiting a foodie destination like this one. I could resist ordering three different Korean corn dogs: a regular one, a potato and a ramen. All were great. I probably slightly preferred the potato, then the ramen and lastly, the regular. I actually had gourmet hot dogs for lunch, so it was all a bit of overload for me, but I could still very much appreciate these, despite the indigestion later that evening. Who knew eating like 5,000 calories in one day could lead to consequences?? I also ordered a Mango Bing Su and a Pandan Mochi donut. These were the big hits for me. Don't get me wrong, the corn dogs were cool and very unique, but I loved the desserts. I am not exaggerating when I say that I could literally eat that bing su and donut every single day for 3 straight years and not get tired of them. Until we meet again, I will think of both of you.

They do get busy and seats are limited so plan accordingly. Staff is super friendly and their variety of hot dogs were delicious. It's worth a try if you haven't had it before, you can get with all beef sausage/mozzarella cheese or even half of each. Come show your support if you're in the Katy Korean Town area

My baby cousin and I came here thinking they sold ice cream but it is only shaved iced. They sell mochinut donuts, corn dog, mozzarella sticks and more greatness. But we saw a Fruity Pebble Mochinut Donut so we ordered that. At first, they were a little stingy with the Fruity Pebbles - we had to request more which they gave. The mochinut donut was really good. It came out hot which we loved because we knew it was freshly made. The frosting and fruity pebbles added the additional crunch that we appreciated. It was really good. There were a lot of people inside but it was a Saturday night. They have plenty of seats inside. The decor is cute. Parking was a bit tough. but we found a spot. It's in a very popular plaza. Also, the name is Bing Su in the storefront, not ChungChun. read more

It's alright ....I've had better...the ube tea was too much powder..you can tell from the super excited color..no me gusta....$6 for the tea who knows what I paid for the donut ...not doing it again read more

Cool little spot. Kinda warm in the place. But not bad at all. The service was pretty quick and the lady was very helpful with her knowledge. My wife ordered the mango and strawberry combo shaved ice and I ordered the white chocolate donut. The donut was not good at all. I was super disappointed. But my wife loves the shaved ice. read more

KATY, TX / DESSERTS / 01-09-22 / TAKE-OUT DESSERT -The strawberry cheesecake in our bingos tasted like it absorbed all of the refrigerator smells; it was definitely frozen, thawed, and stale. -The bingsoo shaving tasted like freezer burn alongside the cheesecake. -The store was dirty; floors and equipment were not clean. -They sell mochi donuts but the price is a rip off. Time to look elsewhere for desserts, Yelpers! read more

We tried the Bellaire location a few days ago and was in awe, found the Katy location was even closer to us and I am in pure heaven. They have the most delicious mochinuts, light and fluffy with so much flavor. They rotate flavors often and they go great with the different tea and coffee options. I ag ent even talked about the Korean hot dogs My favorite is the mozzarella Korean style (with sugar). The ramen coated with sugar is my second favorite! Staff was helpful and super nice, smiles and recommendations... what else could a new customer want :) read more
My partner seemed to enjoy this place more than I did. While the location is aesthetically nice, the food just didn't hit the spot for me. I was most excited about the Blue Taki's flavor which came out extremely soggy with grease. Would have been better if it was fresh. The others were not soggy but lacked any sort of flavor unless you applied some condiments. We also had a mini strawberry Mango bing su. Flavors were good but the texture of the bing su was a little disappointing. Seems like the milk crystallized someone the shaved ice which made for a crunchy texture. read more

We came here on a Friday night - it was packed and extremely busy! This whole plaza in HMART is always a busy place to be! Parking wasn't too bad as there's a whole parking lot for all the restaurants in this plaza. The line was to the door and people were standing outside with their food as seating was limited. Waited about 10 minutes to order and then another 5 mins to get our shaved ice and corn dog! The Korean corn dogs were definitely one of the best ones we have had - compared to other shops only selling Korean corn dog. The cheese was melted and flavorful with the cheese pull! The shaved ice - O MY GOODNESS! amazing! This place also sells mochi donuts - we didn't get the opportunity to try it since we came for the shaved ice and corn dog but it seemed super popular! * a bit pricey for bing su and corn dog * but all other locations that have this are about the same price ~ just in general, paying $9.95 for some Bing Su is a bit conflicting when you can get Asian shaved iced in Bellaire China Town for way cheaper! read more

I know I'm late to the mochi donut and Korean hot dog trend but I finally got to try it this weekend! I got their Vietnamese coffee donut and original hot dog, each $3.24 after tax. Donut: super subtle, not too sweet, loved the texture! I wish the coffee flavor was stronger as it was only in the glaze. Also kind of overpriced (but I'll still likely repurchase as I prefer this to a traditional donut). These were premade for the day. They switch flavors every week? Hot dog: I'm not sure if it's because I didn't choose the mozzarella or potato covered options (they sounded too heavy for me that day), but I found it super underwhelming and lacking in flavor. I struggled to finish it. They have basic condiments to dip the hot dogs in (cheddar cheese, honey mustard, ketchup, sweet and sour sauce) but they didn't help much. Maybe I'm just not a Korean hot dog kind of person. read more

Yummy dessert with a variety of options. We got the fresh strawberry and Mango bingsu and it was so good. The fruits tasted freshly cut and the portion was huge, ( that size was small). I would say it was more on the sweeter side for my taste but still a great! read more
You really can't go wrong with a place that serves bing su AND Korean hot dogs. It's the best of both sweet and savory. The first time I tried the famous Korean hot dog was here and I wasn't sure what to expect. It definitely lived up to the hype. There's several different options to choose from. I got the mozzarella with a potato coating. It was unlike any hotdog/corn dog I've tried before. I definitely recommend it with sugar and some ketchup & mustard. I know that sounds like an odd combo but trust me it works. The bingsu was super refreshing. It wasn't overly sweet like a lot of bingsu places I've been to but still satisfied my sweet tooth. The mangos were ripe and the whipped cream on top complimented the entire dessert perfectly. If you haven't tried it then what are you waiting for? The cheese pull is enough of a reason to get it. read more

I think the restaurant name is Sul Bing Su, and they serve food from various other stores such as Chung Chun's hot dogs and Mochinut's donuts. We had a half half hot dog with sugar and, at the cashier's recommendation, a small mango strawberry shaved ice. I liked the mango habanero sauce at the sauce station. It's sweet at first and then the heat kicks in a second later. The half half has cheese at the top half and a hot dog on the bottom half (it's not side by side). I'll probably get just cheese next time. read more

I love this place. All your cravings under one roof! Korean style corn dogs are crispy, cheesy, goodness on a stick, and Sul Bing Su is delicious and does it right. The corn dogs are crunchy and so so good. The Mochinut mochi donuts are okay, but some of the flavors aren't as potent as you would think they would be, like the Ube mochi, but still not bad. It can be a bit oily for my liking. They do rotate the flavors weekly which can keep it interesting though. One downfall is it does get a little crowded in the restaurant itself when they are busy, since the dining area is small. This would be a good place to stop by if you just want some quick bites. read more
I was so excited when this place opened because there aren't many places in Katy that serve bingsu OR korean hot dogs OR mochi donuts and this place does all three! Moreover, they all taste great, so I'm really glad to have this place in Katy Asian Town. I've gotten multiple flavors of bingsu, including injeolmi, fresh mango, and green tea, and I liked them all. I think the mango was really refreshing but if you're new to bingsu and wanting to try new flavors, I do recommend injeolmi! It is a korean flavor with a nutty/sesame-like tasting powder and the mochi adds a fun, chewy touch to the refreshing shaved ice. The korean hot dogs are a fun snack, I really like the sweet flour or rice flour batter that they use instead of corn flour which is used in traditional American hotdogs. The ones with potatoes also fun :) I recommend enjoying them with sugar, contrary to what you might think. And lastly, the mochi donuts are just the right texture, as you can taste the chewiness from the mochi. Sometimes mochi donuts are too tough or overfried and just taste like normal donuts, but these were good. A little oily, but the texture is good. read more

Are they located in the HMART or a stand-alone shoppe in the strip center?
Located on a stand alone shop. You can't miss it when you are driving in the parking lot next to Bubble Egg
So this is not the sul bing chain from korea? i noticed the menu is not quite the same and the sahved ice is not super fine like in korea
But equally as delicious...and closer if you live in Texas.
Is this the actual Sulbing from Seoul or did the owners just knock off the whole concept plus interior design/logo? The logo is literally the exact same thing with the same font "KOREAN DESSERT CAFE"
I wouldn't say it's a knock off since the menus are different from each other. The names are similar so I get where you're coming from. It can be deceiving. Long story short, no, this is not a franchise of Sul Bing from Korea.
