You can't go wrong with Yemeni style coffee! That being said, I loved everything about this experience apart from the wait times. Apparently, when it comes to living this spot, I'm not alone, because this place was full! This trip I wanted to get myself a little treat of a caffeinated beverage, savory snack, rose pistachio anything, and Dubai chocolate treat. I ended up with Qishr, a spinach feta cheese pastry, Dubai chocolate bar, and Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. All filling, I had to take most of it home. Everything was delicious, and if you're attempting to lower your caffeine intake, qishr this is definitely a great substitute. The only area of improvement I could see was the service. The Long wait times were long and they honestly weren't the most welcoming, but perhaps this was due to the high volume of service. I'll definitely go back and try again...you know...for quality assurance ;).
Food was wonderful! My kids love it. Most especially the trendy fruit. They love the mango fruit so much and the chocolate roll. Service was excellent! Very friendly and accommodating. Ambiance was so nice, clean, and spacious.
Review is for drinks only. A lovely coffee shop a little bit away from the main Katy Asian Town, Mazajj boasts delicious Yemeni style coffee and tea. We were there for a few hours and ordered a medium pot of both their Jubani coffee and the Adeni chai, both with no sugar. The flavor notes are incredibly pronounced, with the Jubani ginger having a subtle delicate flavor that balanced very well with the cinnamon. The Adeni chai was creamy yet spicy with the cardamom and nutmeg. Half and half is available to add to coffee as needed. The presentation was beautiful and would serve excellently for a date. No complaints, only wish that it was closer to me!
If you're an old-head like myself who likes strong coffee, this ain't it. The place itself is pretty nice and a chill place if you'd like to work remotely from for a day. The folks were pretty nice and they do have a sign that the coffee is served REALLY HOT. Once you get it, let it sit for a few minutes to cool down. I tried the Jubani. I definitely tasted the cinnamon and ginger, but that's about it. I didn't taste much of a coffee flavor. They have other foods and desserts as well. The caramel chocolate cake was pretty good along with the Spinach/Cheese roll. But for over 30 dollars for weak coffee drinks and pastries....eh I'll pass on this one.
I finally got to try this Yemeni coffee place.... The place on at is a bit small but well decor and inviting. Yemeni coffee, is known for its nutty, earthy, and slightly chocolate flavor. I tried the Mazajj sweet latter I was surprised full of flavor nutty slight chocolate taste sweeten to perfection! Reminded me of urth cafe in Los Angeles CA they have a Spanish latte that taste just like it! My husband decided to try the mocha ice latte for him it was effect strong not too sweet, our kids had summer strawberry smoothie they loved it! On to the pastries we ordered pistachio tres leches, we were wowed it was moist sweet not to the extreme and you can actually taste the pistachio in it. We also ordered the chocolate caramel cake the kids devour it was the number one pick for them. The Dubai chocolate was delicious. Customer service was exceptional the baristas super friendly and informative we had an overall great experience. Definitely returning I will say the only downfall it's pricey but the coffee patties is worth it .
Was looking for new coffee spot to try one morning and this place had great ratings. I see why! Mazajj specializes in Yemen coffee, something I've never had. I ordered the Jubani coffee. It has a different combination of flavors, but the cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger all came together so well. I loved the ambiance and the service was great. It's a small space and it seems they stay busy, but definitely a good spot to come and enjoy conversation with friends over coffee and snacks.

The drink and chocolate were absolutely delicious! The ambience felt so warm and inviting, just like the sun rays in the picture. It can get a little packed at times, but honestly, it didn't bother me while I was studying. It's the kind of cozy, welcoming place that makes you want to stay a little longer.
I was enticed to come here from other reviews by word of mouth but was a little disappointed in the cafe experience. The interior was really nice and has a cultural aesthetic to it. The drinks I had ordered were the lattes that were recommended to me by the staff. Which ultimately they did taste fine but there was not a wow factor to it. One other thing that did occur was that we requested the drinks to be dine in so they could be served to us in a mug with latte art that we had seen promoted on social media before. However the drinks were served to us in paper cups and I really did not want it to be an issue. I just wanted to make the experience good for my parents so I had to request a remake of the lattes for two of the drinks. I felt a little sad to have needed to waste the other lattes but it also just wasn't what we asked for either. I would consider coming back but for now, since I am not local, I won't have a chance.
Love love loved this place! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I've had Yemeni coffee before and I loved it. I ordered the ice mazajj latte which was exceptional; unique and flavorful blend. 5/5 recommend that drink and stopping in if you are in Katy.

I ordered the Mazajj Latte with an extra shot of espresso and it was so good! I don't like overly sweet coffee, and even when I add an extra shot at other places, it still ends up too sweet but the Mazajj was the perfect balance. This was my second visit, and the customer service was just as great as the first time. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and this time I also tried the feta cheese and spinach pastry it was delicious! Overall, great vibes, great coffee, and I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Super cute spot with delicious coffee. I tried their Mazajj latte and it tasted like a dirty chai. I love that they are introducing a different type of way to enjoy espresso. There is also a decent amount of seating and great looking pastries. Best part is they are open late! read more

Greeted the moment we opened the door. Very warm and welcoming shop. Too many things to try at once which means you'll want to come back many times. Adeni chai was spectacular. Zaatar bread was best I've ever had. I could have stayed all day trying everything. read more
Went to @mazajjorganiccoffee, another great addition to the Yemeni Coffee House options in the city. went with the Adani Tea and the Honeycomb Bread. overall it was great. the taste of the tea and the honeycomb bread were , and also a nice place to sit back and relax, cool vibe. read more
Amazing truly organic Yemeni coffee, their pastries are delicious! They also recently add their version of the famous Dubai chocolate bar it's worth a try. The staff is always friendly and very helpful if you're not sure what to try they will suggest something for you to try. Depending on the time of the day you go it can get pretty loud in there especially in the afternoons after about 6 pm. But overall it's a great must try cafe, give it a shot if you're in the area. read more

Came here to do some work and it was an excellent location-- fast WiFi, plenty of spots, and good snacks to tide you through the mental/physical fatigue. I got the chai w almond milk and it was customized to less sugar as well! The sausage bread was toasted well and had great sesame flavor. The Dubai chocolate lacked slightly in pistachio flavor but had great texture from the knafeh and almost reminiscent of a Kit Kat. Would definitely be back! Service was fast. read more
I love this place. To the quiet, calm, and cozy ambiance to the smelly aroma of the coffee and tea. I enjoyed my latte which had the perfect spice to it. It wasn't terribly sweet but I should've asked to ask for it to be less sweet. They give you a lot in my opinion. This place is also a great studying spot. I'd come back. read more

FATIMA is the BEST. She stays greeting everyone when they come in and she even memorizes my order and it's the 3rd time I've seen her. All of the staff are very nice and respectful and quick and attentive to their customers. The vibe is amazing in here and it's always so crowded but you'll find a seat. I 10/10 recommend!! read more

Let my daughter go in herself to get her some Dubai strawberry chocolate came back and said the lady did not give her a tip at the front desk then I had to go in with her and get a tip then she gave me too much and gave me $9.90 I gave her back the $1.90. Because that is the right thing to do. But they act like they were slow, and then after when I finally came in to get a tip now she wants to ask my daughter for her name, but she never asked my daughter for a name. The Dubai strawberry chocolate. It was OK they let it sit out though. The strawberries are really good and fresh though that it is sitting out. Why is the strawberry chocolate $11 for a min cup, Not worth the price! & why did my pistachio matcha get charged extra for what was on the menu? I swear everyone is getting over on people! $21 is what I was charged for this! At least make it worth it!! read more

Great local coffee shop. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. I got the honey comb bread which was amazing especially with the drizzle of honey. I also got the sweet latte which was the perfect balance of sweet but still tasting the coffee blend. Highly recommend trying this local shop. read more

This place is a coffee lovers dream! They have your traditional American coffee selections and international coffee and tea options. They also have some light desserts and sandwiches. The customer service is awesome! This place was surprisingly packed at 10pm on a Sunday night! read more
