I almost always get the cheese cloud coffee, their cheese foam is really creamy, and kind of gives a sweet taste that goes great with the latte/coffee. Give it a try! Don't be intimidated by the name lol. Aside from that I sometimes rotate between the matcha section of the menu. They have a decently sized menu and they rotate aa few limited drinks every now and then. Any time they have a limited Fruit Soda/Ade drink, go for it, you won't be disappointed. The inside is so cute, very bright and clean, and all the regulars are just as polite as the staff lol none of the students that study mind if you sit with them. The Vietnamese Bac Xíu coffees have started to become more trendy, and not to knock on other popular chains, but this place has become a great go to Vietnamese coffee place for me. The taste is there, without the wait! When I'm craving a good Vietnamese coffee, this is my new go to on the Westside. I love that it's tucked away, no frills, good menu option, and great drinks. I stopped by here on a whim while trying to find a place to meet a friend for matcha that wouldn't require a drive downtown or into the Bellaire area and LOVED it! The ambiance of Trafee was so calm and pleasant with the way they decorated for Christmas and the ample natural lighting. My friend and I ordered a Matcha Coconut Latte and a Matcha Jasmine Latte - both had fantastic color and great flavor that was neither too sweet or bitter. The matcha flavor was well balanced and paired with both the coconut milk and jasmine tea. Personally, I was a bigger fan of the Jasmine since it was more unique to me, but both were very good. I was in the area and needed a little pick-me-up when I came across this spot on Google--and I'm so glad I stopped in. As someone who loves watching café and barista videos on YouTube, I was immediately excited to see that their menu featured a lot of the drinks I'm always watching being made. They had a solid variety of options, but I ultimately went with the CoCo Bạc Xỉu. Shoutout to the employee who helped me decide because wow, this was an excellent choice. Easily one of the best coffee lattes I've had in a long time. It was so good that I went back the very next day just to get it again . On my second visit, I decided to grab two drinks--one for that day and one for the next. I stuck with the CoCo Bạc Xỉu (still perfect) and also tried their coconut matcha. I'll preface this by saying I'm pretty particular when it comes to matcha, and unfortunately this one wasn't for me. That said, it definitely didn't stop me from coming back--the coffee alone is more than enough reason to return and I have so many other drinks to try! As for the space and parking: the lot is a bit small and narrow, but I didn't have any trouble finding parking. Inside, the café is spacious with plenty of seating. It felt like a popular spot for people to settle in and get some work done. I've already been here two days in a row, and you can guarantee I'll be back to try more items on the menu. I believe they had only been open for a couple of months when I visited, and I'm really hoping they stick around for the long haul. I might've just found my all time favorite matcha place....so I got a matcha jasmine and ace got the matcha strawberry. The matcha jasmine was so smooth, creamy, and flavorful. It had just the right amount of jasmine and it didn't overpower the matcha. Their strawberry matcha is hands down one of my favorite strawberry matchas that I've tried. Since I did not get ice they only filled it half way which they did not tell me they would do that. The drink was $7 and I think they should have filled it up for that price point. I got out of school very early so I decided to try a new coffee shop a little farther out. I went to Trafee Coffee & Tea in Houston. This is a new Vietnamese place and I've seen them online a few times. I saw that a lot of people were ordering the matcha Jasmine so I decided to order that too, with 75% sweetness. They have limited tables available but I was able to grab the last one to study. The matcha had a nice green color but unfortunately the jasmine flavor was overpowering the matcha flavor in my opinion. It was more of strong tea flavor and was missing the matcha smoothness and earthiness. They are somewhat new though so I'm sure they can sort that out easily read more
