Got to try Fusion 36 degree the other day! Ended up getting the Matcha with ube foam. The foam is always my favorite part!! The drink is huge and I think I drank it way too fast. I was sad when it was gone! My only thing was the matcha drink portion itself. It was good, however it was more like matcha flavored milk tea as opposed to true matcha if that makes sense. I can't be mad because this is totally a bubble tea place and not a coffee shop lol. What can I expect? I'll keep that in mind next time but will most likely order something else. I asked him three times for my drink without milk and made sure the drink was without milk and they added milk to it, I cannot drink milk so I told him I can't, he put milk on it even when I made sure three times I didn't want any milk, I don't have the energy or the time to wait for them to remake the drink the point of going to a coffee shop is to save time and energy, that's why I asked them to make it without milk and they still made it with milk. read more

Founded by two Taiwanese brothers with a penchant for American fare (#1), Fusion 36 Degree is a shop that specializes in coffee, tea, and smoothies. They've grown as a local chain, with the original in Katy and two others in Cypress and this one between Cypress and Jersey Village. This is a low key cafe where I can get work done, play a board game, and sip on a mean coffee while simultaneously handling meeting, which screams versatility. Parking is shared with a large lot and plentiful. I appreciate the layout of the seats since there's adequate seating for anyone along with a low-key vibe that starts with the young staff. Wi-Fi is on point and there's plenty of outlets for anyone who's a laptop crusader. I'm a fan of their various coffee offerings which range from a latte to blended coffee and seasonal specials. Their Vietnamese coffee is rather excellent, but I'm also impressed with their matcha Cafe, latte and even the frachillos, which, despite not being coffee is likely the frappuccino equivalent, a la Starbucks. The ladder includes flavors such as chai creme, brown sugar creme, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and mint mocha. Their cream teas is simply another way of saying milk tea, and the flavors are all over the place. I do appreciate the winter melon cream tea which contains crystal boba. This boba shop used to be one of my favorite hangout/study when I was in high school, about 7 years ago, and still is a great place. My go-to was the fat burner green tea! Wonder when they changed the menu. Still, a wide variety on the menu. All of our drinks were good. Service was a bit slow, but there was only one person working the whole shop. read more

Nice modern tea & smoothie shop. I was able to get my tapioca fix here. I got the classic jasmine tea with boba. All their cream teas are made with non-dairy creamer. I especially loved that the boba was not overly sweet The cashier was really polite and professional. She did a great job with explaining the menu and was really patient. After a bad experience at LTK crawfish which left a horrible taste in my mouth, I wanted to get some milk tea to help me forget that I just spend $50 for some overcooked mushed up crawfish. I'll tell you this, Fusion 36 degree made me forget about it. I ordered the honey dew milk tea with egg pudding. Oh my God, my drink was refreshing & tasty; it definitely was a unique combination but it all came together. Very nice place to go for a coffee, smothies or tea and stay to do some school homework , read a book or just chill out with friends. I love this place, but recently staff has cared a lot less about customer satisfaction. If you want to have boba in your drink, make sure you don't go after 9:00pm. They always run out and never make more, even though they close at 11:00pm. Just arrived at 9:10 and they didn't have boba and when I asked if they were making more they said no... but don't arrive too early either bc you'll get yesterday's tea. I really love this tea house, and I would most definitely give it a 5... however, I showed up today soon after they opened and they didn't have boba ready, they said they just opened and it would be about an hour until boba was ready... just a suggestion, maybe start your day an hour early, so when you are open you have what you sell ready. When I go to the bakery right when it opens, they don't tell me, the dough is rising, you will have to wait for us to bake it! No the bakers are their hours before prepping so the bread is ready when the store is open! read more

This place is gorgeous inside. If you're the kind that likes fancy nick-nacks and various drinks and what not I think you would like this place. I ordered a iced Vietnamese coffee but unfortunately it was all condensed milk and too sweet. Anyone who knows and loves ice Vietnamese coffee knows the correct color of the coffee should be brown not white. So while maybe it's a bit Petty to knock some stars from that one experience I feel like it's a pretty easy drink to make. I would definitely give this place another try and maybe next time my opinion would change for the better. Until then I'll still recommend the place just to check out the interior and how well is decorated. read more

Second time here. First time I ordered the Japanese Green Tea Latte (aka Matcha) and the second time I ordered the Mango Black Tea. They have a pretty large selection of drinks and you can also customize your drink to suit your tastes. You can customize the amount of sugar and ice. Don't quote me on this, but I believe they also have non-dairy options as well. The customer service is great as well. 1st visit when I ordered the Japanese Green Tea Latte I wanted it with no sugar and less ice. The girl who was making my drink took into account that Matcha tends to be very strong in flavor especially with no sugar and offered a sample for me to try to see if I was okay with the flavor or wanted to alter it. Second visit, I came to do some work and the staff member was very attentive and asked if the music volume was too loud. For anyone looking for a place to study or get work done this place also has wifi available. It's great to finally have a good tapioca/drink place right outside of Copperfield instead of having to go to Chinatown. read more

Really shocked that I was this disappointed with this boba shop especially after all these great reviews. The boba is ROCK hard. I ordered hot tea here and it came out frothy and bitter tasting. I watched the lady make another one and realized they use an electric shaker. The water was also way too hot for green tea, hence the bitter taste from over steeping the leaves at too high a temperature. This will not be my place for hot tea.
