I came here on a late night as they opened late and was craving for some boba on a trip! The ambience inside felt open as there was lots of space to sit and chat. The drinks are hit and miss the times I've visited as well as the pearls vary. I got the matcha sugar milk with boba and my partner got mango green tea with some pearls. I know there's a bunch of good spots around, but this place keeps me coming back about once a week! I typically always get the coconut cream tea with added regular boba, and sometimes the strawberry cream tea with the same. Both are GREAT! I brought my girlfriend here once and I've taken her to others, but she keeps wanting to come back here. On that note, we are actually going Saturday because she saw he go without her last week!! I heard about this place from a classmate and drove by it a couple of times. I went to go check out this place w/ my dad and sister after eating lunch at Krazy Dog near by. This boba shop has a vintage vibe inside, and it another great place for people to study or hang out. They were short on staff with one person working behind the counter, and we waited for about 8-10 minutes for our drinks. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte, which was decent enough. Overall, not bad and there are plenty of other boba shops in Houston that are good. read more

Far past its prime, skip this one and find a different boba shop. I've been a regular customer at Fusion 36 degree since 2017, and I've always enjoyed it. For years it had been my go-to recommendation for boba tea in the Cypress, Texas area. However, I have a list of grievances with this place that just makes me want to show up less and less. For starters, for what feels like years, one of the two restrooms have been out of commission. On top of that, the owner has the audacity to slap a "Restroom for paying customers only" sticker on the restroom, despite the obvious lack of effort to repair the annoyingly broken restroom. Many times I have had to wait 10-15min to use the restroom, because Fusion 36 has simply refused to fix the second toilet. If you have a disability requiring you access to a restroom at all times, you should under no circumstances visit Fusion 36. Second, the boba tea itself has declined in quality massively over the years. I used to proudly say that Fusion 36 had the best "Mango black tea" in Houston, let alone Cypress. Nowadays Fusion 36 doesn't even deserve a mention when it comes to their boba tea quality. The mangoes don't taste fresh anymore, they're almost gritty in texture nowadays. I can't help but feel this was a cost-saving measure at the expense of product quality. Third, and admittedly this reason isn't important to everyone but it is to anyone who works on public WiFi using a laptop, the customer WiFi situation is absolutely atrocious. It is very frustrating when I sit down and open my laptop to get some work done, and I have to get the new WiFi password from the front. This shop changes their WiFi password on what seems like a daily basis, and I'm not sure if it's just due to the owner's network security incompetence, or they accidentally left a setting on that changes their WiFi passwords daily. The passwords are always extremely similar to the previous passwords, meaning the only thing actually happening by this tedious password changing is forcing customers to log back in with the new, almost identical to yesterday's, WiFi password. Finally, the decor. I fell in love with Fusion 36 when a friend first brought me in 2017, the furniture and lighting was really vibey and comfortable. However, on my last visit in 2024, I sat on the same chair I sat in in 2017. The chair is old and rickety, its colorful back almost entirely faded from the years of service. The couches they have strewn randomly across the seating areas are sagging inwards, crusty, or both. Fusion 36 seems allergic to spending money to make the experience actually better for their customers. It does pain me to write this, as Fusion 36 means a lot to me. To see it fall to this level saddens me, and I can only hope that they will fix all of the above issues, and the countless issues that I didn't get to cover in detail in this review. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to see if anything changed, because I've already given up hope that it will. read more

One word to describe this place is consistent. Their drinks are delicious and they are so polite here. They have delicious coffees and milk teas here!!! My new favorite is the almond milk tea with egg pudding as my sinker !!!! It's super rich and creamy. They cashiers here are very polite and friendly. I was taking a while to order because I was buying 5 drinks for my family and the cashier let me take me time and took my order with a smile. I love this place! Oh my God the pictures really do not do justice here. If you want a place to make you feel you're not in Houston, Venture inside here, bring a book to read and get ready to be submerged into something that you do not usually see in an interior, not even in a home! Come here to get your tapioca, teas and coffee. There are some how do items which I do not view but I was too much Wild by the interior, even if the drinks were bad at still probably come here to get away from it all for a few minutes. Personnel really aren't that cheery here, frumpy at its best, maybe I caught them on a off day? Parking is ample. I would describe it as one of those places where you come for the interior and enjoy the company of whoever you are with and let the coffee tea warm desserts be an extra. My favorite boba joint. The caribeña twister is sooooo good! The ambiance is super chill and since I work out of my car, I love that I can come here and just get it done. Service is usually good because they stand behind a counter and you come to them. This Fusion is super trendy and nice inside! The chandeliers, big garden fountain, and quirky furniture really just grabs your attention and sets up an overall aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. I've seen anywhere from business meet ups, gift exchanges, and other socials being held and honestly it truly is a great environment to do so. Lots of places inside to take nice photos and free wifi! Now for the drinks and these guys have a pretty decent sized menu. It has most of the typical selections such as milk teas, teas, coffee, and smoothies. Can be hot/cold where applicable. I've been to some shops where you can tell their brews aren't really that strong or more so just "watered down" but these guys do it right! My regular go-to drink: Oolong Milk tea + boba/crystal boba My cure to drowsiness drink: Iced Cafe Sua Da + boba My change it up drink: hot milk tea! This place is awesome-sauce! I'm sure I had the "astonishes, bright-eyed tourist" look but thankfully I only live 5 minutes from this location and I will surely be back! You are transported to another world when you enter! And though everywhere you look was visually stimulating, it has a quiet serenity about the place. Super cute decor, spacious with plenty of tables, and great drinks! I'm so glad my friend found this place and brought us here. I'm always suspicious of any type of Asian place outside of Chinatown, but this place has legit tea. We tried the oolong green tea with cream, Thai tea, and strawberry smoothie. All three drinks were really good! We got half sweet which was still pretty sweet. It was a perfect level. I really enjoyed Fusion and will be back to try other drinks. Not only is their drinks delicious, their ambience is amazing! Their decorations blew me away! I've never seen or been to a boba place where I feel like I fell down the rabbit hole and ended up in Alice in the Wonderland. There is plenty of chairs and very roomy unlike Chinatown boba places, all narrow and cramped. They even have a private room if you need to do group studies and Starbucks isn't nearby. Fusion is definitely my new boba place in the Cypress area. My mother in law is particular with her drink and usually drive to certain spots for her Thai Milk Tea. She finally found one that's close by and up to her taste. She's been frequent ever since. I always order my usual, Japanese Green Tea with tapioca. Fusion makes it just perfect! Not too bland or too sweet. You definitely taste the strong green tea flavor that I'm looking for. They obviously don't skimp on their ingredients when making any drinks.
