So happy to find a place that sells boba and banh mi...there's not many places in cypress that does. Poor banh mi: 4 out of 5 My daughter and I really enjoyed it. It was flavorful and has all the condiments in there that you would usually get inside a banh mi - pickled carrots, cucumber, pate, butter on a crispy baguette (we opted for no cilantro) and we added the pork. The pork was grilled nicely, only thing I will say it was a bit saucy. Popcorn chicken: 4 of 5 We opted to get the non-spicy. Popcorn chicken was super crunchy, which we really enjoyed, but like others said in the review could have used some other seasoning like salt and pepper to give it some flavor since we opted for non spicy. Brown sugar milk tea with boba: 4 out of 5 Flavor was pretty good, not too milky.

They changed name from LA Tea to V Tea but are just as wonderful as ever. We like the teas here, a lot, but we especially like the wonderful service. Both the boy and the girl treated us so well and were so lovely. I think they recognized us from the internet, and it showed. Basically we had a lovely experience here with great people, and some of the nicest decor in Cypress and possibly in the Houston area at any boba shop. Of course, we will definitely be back again and even though we still have to find some things on the menu that we truly love I do think they have good products and good standards and truly spectacular service. My husband and I came back the next day because he was so eager to to try the Banh Mi's! I got the chicken and he got the pork Banh mi. We also got popcorn chicken to share. Personally, the Banh mi's were crisp and fresh but the meat was too sweet for me and a bit on the dry side - seemed like they drenched it with some really sweet sauce to make the chicken Banh Mi "less dry". My husband LOVED his sandwich and said sweet was good. I would say this isn't the traditional Banh mi flavor for the meat - both were shredded and drenched in some sweet sauce? The Banh Mi did have all the pickled carrots and cilantro but they definitely used the regular butter and not the real Banh mi Vietnamese butter. Overall, we would still come back but the Banh Mi isn't my preferred item at this shop.

This review is based on their POPCORN chicken only! I was coming here hoping to do some work but their AC went out so it was pretty hot inside so I didn't get to try their boba tea as I was planning to go to starbucks after although I already walked in so I decided to try their popcorn chicken because what can go wrong right? Apparently, the whole dish. The popcorn chicken batter used was not right. It tasted weird and chewy and then it was WHITE in color. It wasn't a good golden brown like how things should normally look when you deep fry it and tasted very bland and just not good. It was more edible with the included sweet and sour sauce but without the sauce I probably would have thrown out the rest or fed the inside chicken to my pup because it was sad that it could even be called popcorn chicken. So unauthentic. I was shook when I saw it literally white with a sprinkle of "spicy" seasoning on it.

We tried a variety of drinks and they were all good. My only complaint was how sweat butterfly tea was too sweet though. I also think the snacks were small for what you paid for. However I would still come back and try different drinks.

I love this place and today was the first day trying their grilled pork banhi mi. Let me just say, it did not disappoint. The flavors were amazing and definitely recommend this place. I normally get the butterfly milk tea but today I switched it up and got the brown sugar milk tea it was amazing.

Stopped in for some popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is alright, but they let you choose whether or not you want it spicy or non-spicy and it comes with some sweet chili sauce. The butterfly tea was good and not too sweet (it's also really pretty, instagram worthy). The inside is very bright and open and the workers are very friendly.

Awesome cozy boba shop! The vibes were immaculate and the food and drinks were delicious! The owner gave us some samples of delicious taro jello and wings! 10/10 give them a try!

Nice little boba place in Cypress. They have a lot to choose from and food! I didn't get to order food, but I did get a thai tea and jasmine milk tea. The jasmine Tea was a little too sweet even though I asked for 80% sugar. The Thai Tea was pretty comparable to other places. The environment is decorated very cute and service was friendly and quick.

This is my first time going to LAtea and did not disappoint! I ordered the classic milk tea with boba. It was a bit over sweet, but they explained there are different sweetness levels. I loved their boba because they were a bit sweet and not very hard as well. The decoration was super instagrammable! Every corner of this boba place has almost its own culture. I loved this area I posted in the picture below. There was also a plain wall with falling down "Happy Birthday" balloons. You can tell someone hosted a birthday here. Some of the couches had cracks in it and it was noticeable that they bought a very old couch somewhere, even though LAtea just opened. They play pretty loud music so if you are looking for somewhere to study, I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, the boba was good, the staff was friendly, and they also gave a punchcard as an incentive to come back. I will definitely go back!

Omg! A hidden gem in Cypress. Got the brown sugar fresh milk and I haven't had boba in 3 years but this came with it. I had to say, the boba was perfect! And dude the brown sugar milk is really good. I also got the popcorn chicken and it hit the spot! It has small bits of basil in it and comes in a huge portion! Only downside is that it takes a while for the food and drinks to come out but other than that, this place is awesome! And I love the decor! It's so stinkin CUTE!

I will never patronize this business again! I was double charged due to a system error on their end, and rather than fixing the issue they took my money and refused to take accountability. I was double charged and only got one order. The food was okay, and the setup is strange. You pull up, ring a doorbell and someone comes out. I have told all my co-workers at my school not to patronize this business. read more

I usually don't go out often for boba, but this is definitely my new go-to spot! Their drinks are amazing; the butterfly tea is a must. I also recommend their banh mi. I was so excited to see a shop that sells quality boba and banh mi, along with a few other dishes too. read more

I stopped by this place to get a drink with no ice for the next morning. I asked if they could do no ice + NO fill up to the top for the regular price. This is a practice common amongst Houston boba shops. Instead the person insisted they will still have to charge me the extra fee even without filling to the top. So then I asked could they just seal up the cup after I scoop out the ice. The response I got was: No that's too complicated I don't know how to do that. It's too complicated to seal the cup AFTER removing the ice? Honestly I've interacted with the owner before and they seemed nice. But this girl is clearly someone who has no business working in customer service. Needless to say, I considered coming back to try the sandwich, but I won't be coming back after this experience. There are so many boba shops in Cypress, I wouldn't bother with Vtea unless you enjoy bad service. read more

Definitely not recommending this place. I'm very disappointed with my pork banh mi purchase. Instead of pork bbq meat, it's most likely the Korean bbq pork jerky from Costco (see pics and compare for yourself) read more

It's my fave and my husband's fave and we've tried so many boba tea houses! The drinks are the perfect sweetness. The smoothies are great. The tapioca is the perfect texture. The watermelon tea is a bonus when it's available. The snacks are great, love the spicy chicken and egg rolls. My kids love it too, they think the ice cream is pretty cool. They love to visit inside and play games. It's clean and inviting, it's one of my favorite places to go! read more

Honestly this is the best boba place i have ever been to. It's hard to find a decent boba place but this place is amazing. The actual place is very instagram worthy it's so aesthetic!! Popcorn chicken is bland. It has no flavor and the flour is plain. Please salt and pepper your chicken. We had the brown sugar milk tea and coffee milk tea. The brown sugar was barely passable and the coffee milk tea had no coffee flavor. It tasted like artificial instant coffee at best. read more

Their signature drink, the butterfly tea is so pretty! I especially loved the consistency of their lychee jelly in my kumquat tea; it was nice and firm. The popcorn chicken was crispy, and comparing it to other places, didn't have a lot of oil and is made fresh. The amount of popcorn chicken is kind of small though. Soo happy I found a great boba place in Cypress! I went with my fiance and he ordered the Thai tea. For checking into Yelp and Instagram, I received a free matcha milk tea. I added boba to my matcha and ordered it less sweet. It was great to hear that the milk they use is non-dairy because I'm somewhat lactose intolerant. Very cute and clean inside with plenty of seating, but the drinks were amazing!! Just the right amount of sweetness, lots of flavor, very creamy and boba was soft and made correctly. I work just a few minutes away and can't wait to be back to try all of their other items. Anytime I visit my parents in Katy, my husband and I make the drive to Vtea. The service is great and the teas are amazing!! I always get a coconut milk tea and my parents get the coffee milk teas. I came to this place on a whim after scrolling through for nearby boba places in Cypress and found this gem! I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful and instagrammable interior which caught my eye. The cashier (who I assume is the owner) was the highlight of my visit though. His cheerful smile and vivacious look in his eyes was what convinced me to buy from this place. He provided an insightful recommendation and suggested the butterfly tea. It came out in 2 minutes and displayed a soft blue hue that transitioned to fluorescent yellow. I was instructed to shake the drink to mix the teas and the first sip was orgasmic. Great little neighborhood spot. Staff was very friendly and greeted us upon entering. After ordering our drinks she quickly made them and we were out the door. We had the brown sugar boba and the spicy mangonada. Only thing I would say is that the spicy mangonada is only spicy for the first little bit. Then it's very sweet. At first It looked really good & a refreshing drink just like it does in the picture. I usually like anything sweet,but the drink was too sweet. LA kumquat tea is the best!! This is seasonal drink, if you happened to stop by, try this tea or fresh milk with brown sugared boba. So far I liked both of them, decorations are also beautiful, decent price for everyone. I will update some more later on. I also tried their popcorn chicken and it was delicious. The most yummy drinks are butterfly tea, fresh milk with brown sugared boba, kumquat tea and black milk tea. These are my suggestions but you all can try different kind of drinks to find out. --------------------------------------- Updated 09/30/2018 Brown sugar fresh milk is addicting, boba was soft and chewy; if you don't like sweet that much like me, you can adjust sugar level to 50% or 30%. Some of customers like their milk to be 100% sweet but I like mine 50% so I told them to adjust before it is too late. It was my third times of the week that I had been drinking brown sugar fresh milk...I guess part of the reason was because I am quite sick of milk tea, so I tried something different. read more

This probably my favorite boba tea shop! They have tons of great drinks and snacks. I tried several different drinks at this place and every time they surprised me as usual. They also offered me a stamp reward card and gave me a stamp for each of my purchases. Such an amazing place with delicious drinks! read more

Came to pick up something to drink, but they're not open! Lights off, no one inside. It's passed 11AM which is the time they say they open. Such a disappointment. read more
