So happy to find a place that sells boba and banh mi...there's not many places in cypress that does. Poor banh mi: 4 out of 5 My daughter and I really enjoyed it. It was flavorful and has all the condiments in there that you would usually get inside a banh mi - pickled carrots, cucumber, pate, butter on a crispy baguette (we opted for no cilantro) and we added the pork. The pork was grilled nicely, only thing I will say it was a bit saucy. Popcorn chicken: 4 of 5 We opted to get the non-spicy. Popcorn chicken was super crunchy, which we really enjoyed, but like others said in the review could have used some other seasoning like salt and pepper to give it some flavor since we opted for non spicy. Brown sugar milk tea with boba: 4 out of 5 Flavor was pretty good, not too milky.

They changed name from LA Tea to V Tea but are just as wonderful as ever. We like the teas here, a lot, but we especially like the wonderful service. Both the boy and the girl treated us so well and were so lovely. I think they recognized us from the internet, and it showed. Basically we had a lovely experience here with great people, and some of the nicest decor in Cypress and possibly in the Houston area at any boba shop. Of course, we will definitely be back again and even though we still have to find some things on the menu that we truly love I do think they have good products and good standards and truly spectacular service. My husband and I came back the next day because he was so eager to to try the Banh Mi's! I got the chicken and he got the pork Banh mi. We also got popcorn chicken to share. Personally, the Banh mi's were crisp and fresh but the meat was too sweet for me and a bit on the dry side - seemed like they drenched it with some really sweet sauce to make the chicken Banh Mi "less dry". My husband LOVED his sandwich and said sweet was good. I would say this isn't the traditional Banh mi flavor for the meat - both were shredded and drenched in some sweet sauce? The Banh Mi did have all the pickled carrots and cilantro but they definitely used the regular butter and not the real Banh mi Vietnamese butter. Overall, we would still come back but the Banh Mi isn't my preferred item at this shop.

This review is based on their POPCORN chicken only! I was coming here hoping to do some work but their AC went out so it was pretty hot inside so I didn't get to try their boba tea as I was planning to go to starbucks after although I already walked in so I decided to try their popcorn chicken because what can go wrong right? Apparently, the whole dish. The popcorn chicken batter used was not right. It tasted weird and chewy and then it was WHITE in color. It wasn't a good golden brown like how things should normally look when you deep fry it and tasted very bland and just not good. It was more edible with the included sweet and sour sauce but without the sauce I probably would have thrown out the rest or fed the inside chicken to my pup because it was sad that it could even be called popcorn chicken. So unauthentic. I was shook when I saw it literally white with a sprinkle of "spicy" seasoning on it.

We tried a variety of drinks and they were all good. My only complaint was how sweat butterfly tea was too sweet though. I also think the snacks were small for what you paid for. However I would still come back and try different drinks.

I love this place and today was the first day trying their grilled pork banhi mi. Let me just say, it did not disappoint. The flavors were amazing and definitely recommend this place. I normally get the butterfly milk tea but today I switched it up and got the brown sugar milk tea it was amazing.

Stopped in for some popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken is alright, but they let you choose whether or not you want it spicy or non-spicy and it comes with some sweet chili sauce. The butterfly tea was good and not too sweet (it's also really pretty, instagram worthy). The inside is very bright and open and the workers are very friendly.

Nice little boba place in Cypress. They have a lot to choose from and food! I didn't get to order food, but I did get a thai tea and jasmine milk tea. The jasmine Tea was a little too sweet even though I asked for 80% sugar. The Thai Tea was pretty comparable to other places. The environment is decorated very cute and service was friendly and quick.

This is my first time going to LAtea and did not disappoint! I ordered the classic milk tea with boba. It was a bit over sweet, but they explained there are different sweetness levels. I loved their boba because they were a bit sweet and not very hard as well. The decoration was super instagrammable! Every corner of this boba place has almost its own culture. I loved this area I posted in the picture below. There was also a plain wall with falling down "Happy Birthday" balloons. You can tell someone hosted a birthday here. Some of the couches had cracks in it and it was noticeable that they bought a very old couch somewhere, even though LAtea just opened. They play pretty loud music so if you are looking for somewhere to study, I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, the boba was good, the staff was friendly, and they also gave a punchcard as an incentive to come back. I will definitely go back!

Omg! A hidden gem in Cypress. Got the brown sugar fresh milk and I haven't had boba in 3 years but this came with it. I had to say, the boba was perfect! And dude the brown sugar milk is really good. I also got the popcorn chicken and it hit the spot! It has small bits of basil in it and comes in a huge portion! Only downside is that it takes a while for the food and drinks to come out but other than that, this place is awesome! And I love the decor! It's so stinkin CUTE!

I've been hearing about this place for a while & finally had a chance to stop by. I ordered a mango tea with no boba or toppings. At first It looked really good & a refreshing drink just like it does in the picture. I usually like anything sweet,but the drink was too sweet. That wouldn't stop from trying some of their other drinks. Over all they have a variety of flavors & taste for everyone. The place it's self is really cute & a great place to socialize. My family new favorite boba spot! I really like their chic and bright decor as well as the mouthwatering drinks. Unlike other boba places with lack of taste /water down drinks, this tea shop sells high quality tea (can tell by just smelling!) combines a variety of finger food. As a milk tea big fan, I got 2 drinks just for myself and completely satisfied with the flavorful creamy tea taste. Services are friendly and helpful. I have frequented this little sport several times now- so why not review it finally! First off, they have a wide and vast menu. From teas- to hot Cheetos with cheese! It's quite eclectic! Don't go in expecting a big meal, there are a lot of snack foods, and drinks. That being said, my favorite thus far is the butterfly tea! It is very unique in flavor, and super refreshing! I've also tried their popcorn chicken, it's pretty tasty- especially when it's hot. They serve it with a sweet chili sauce. Took one star away because they are a bit overpriced for what they serve, (in my humble opinion)! It's definitely a cool little spot when you're in a snacky-snack kinda mood! read more

I must say their Peach Green Tea and Butterfly Tea are to die for !!!! They're so good I ordered several drinks togo for my family and they all love it. Get the Butterfly Tea and you won't regret it. It has a very unique taste that you will not be able to find anywhere else. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and craving for some tea, coffee or snacks. The place is beautiful and the food is good but the service is TERRIBLE! My first time there yesterday I purchased a lychee tea and a pork banh mi. My total was $10.78, I gave the cashier a $20 bill and she marked my bill 3 times and I asked her if there was a problem and she accused me of giving her a fake bill. It was a $20 bill!! I told her it was very offensive that she was accusing me.... She eventually took it and said sorry, she just got through having a panic attack and the owners want her to check every bill! She gave me my to go order and didn't even say thank you!! Im sad to say I won't be going here anymore based off of how I was treated!! It's sad because the food is good and my office is just around the corner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place unless you want to be treated like a criminal. read more

I absolutely love this place! I have gone to many boba shops in my area, but with my digestive problems, I can't seem to go to certain places due to the amount of added sugar they put in the boba. Fortunately, this place seems to make the tea more natural, in my opinion, and it also tastes SO much better. I also tried the shrimp, popcorn chicken, the cheese fries, and the squid (My FAVORITE). 5/5, will Definitely go again. I'm absolutely in love with this place! read more

Taste so so!!! 3/5 Earl Grey Milk tea is pre-made so they could not be able to lower the sugar level. Even though I order less sugar but still taste very sweet to me. Does not taste any tea favor, too much creamy taste. If you like to adjust your sugar level, you might not enjoy milk tea here. read more

What a fun new boba area in cypress! The area was clean and exciting, with a backdrop that could be used to take great photos of what kind of boba you purchased. I tried the pina colada smoothie with egg pudding and it had just the right amount of sweetness to it. Their butterfly milk tea was also delicious. As for their matcha milk tea, it wasn't too strong, but it also wasn't a favorite of mine since I would still taste some of the matcha powder not fully dissolved into the milk. Overall the drinks were great, but they are also expensive. For the pina colada smoothie, I paid nearly $5 (was like $4.90 something) whereas other locations I've usually paid about $3-4 dollars, including a topping. There is a bit of a wait as well that can range from 5-15 minutes. Also I would ask for lite ice for drinks that include them. The amount of ice was more than half of the cup. It's a fun shop that I think many people would enjoy. read more

I moved 20min away and still come back weekly. Great drinks and service. If there's a few ppl the wait may be a bit longer but they are very kind and it's worth it. If you like supporting small family owned businesses, give them a try. I definitely recommend. read more

The coffee milk tea here is the best I've had by far! They somehow blend it with earl gray and you can really taste it with each sip as it enhances the whole drink. That paired with their coffee jelly makes an amazing caffeine pick me up! Not to mention the cute plants and modern decor, great study spot with really nice and helpful staff. read more

However, that wasn't the case when I got charged 99 cents for lavender flavor and 99 cents for oat milk and 99 cents for boba. The drink is no longer FREE. This is where the confusion comes in. Every other place that has BOGO charges you for the most expensive item and then gives you the second item FREE!! It shouldn't matter how you customize it, it should still be FREE! 2) Your "manager" needs an attitude check. Each time I come in there idk the prices(because you don't list them by the specials and charge extra for everything) and she is not friendly when asked to explain things. 3) The bathrooms smell like urine EVERY time I come 4) There are always dirty tables, several workers, and very few customers. The tables should cleaned more frequently and the floor swept during downtime. 5) A lot of the games for children are sticky and gross or missing pieces. Many of them need to be tossed. I hope you take this review and improve for your current and future customers. Going back and forth with customers after requesting a review is very tacky. I truly hope you don't make this a habit. The time spent typing out a paragraph to me could have been used cleaning your establishment instead.

They are flaccid par-cooked potato sticks with no browning or salt. 80% went in the bin. Sadly...this DID fall WAY short of Micky Dee's. Back to back taste test of the "Pterry's ketchup"...90% sure it is repackaged Heinz. Which is not a bad thing as Heinz is the superior ketchup to all ketchup. We both agreed Wendy's has a better burger and DEFINITELY better fries. But for $11 it is priced well. Just hope this location does not fold. LA kumquat tea is the best!! This is seasonal drink, if you happened to stop by, try this tea or fresh milk with brown sugared boba. We got here around 1pm and it was not busy at all so our drinks came out in a timely manner. I decided to order 3 drinks. I got the classic milk tea, super fruit green tea & watermelon tea (slush). The classic milk tea was simple, textbook and tasted the way it supposed to taste. The super fruit green tea was okay but had so many ingredients/fruits that I can barely taste any tea. My go to is usually the watermelon slush because it's refreshing. Unfortunately this one failed short as the watermelon was not fresh. It tasted like it's about to expire. You can tell that it's about to go bad. The tea flavor was there though. Overall, it was alright. The service was quick & friendly. The decor is simple & it's a small spot but well put together. Will I come back? I would not go out of my way to come here but luckily there's one by my house that serves pretty much the same quality drinks.

I got the Snow Jasmine Green Tea Latte with less ice and half sugar. It had the perfect level of sweetness for me, and the tea flavor was prominent without being overpowering. Having a drive-thru is also super convenient and one of the main reasons I enjoy coming to Long's Coffee. My last two visits to this location have been a bit disappointing. On one visit, my drink was forgotten while I was dining in. On another occasion, they were out of ingredients for two different drinks I tried ordering. It was especially frustrating because the times I visited were not busy... one morning, they had just opened and still didn't have the necessary ingredients for a coconut matcha or strawberry matcha. Despite these experiences, I still appreciate the convenience and atmosphere of this location. I'm hopeful these issues improve because I genuinely enjoy Long's Coffee and would love to continue supporting them.
