I come all the way from Chicago for this coffee!!! I love the 1885. Even made a video about it on TikTok that went semi viral. I make a modification to mine and add cold foam to make it sweeter and ask for no ice. It tastes like a dr pepper float and will have you caffeinated all day. I have also had their caprese avocado toast. It had to get remade a couple of times because they kept putting sesame seeds on it and I can't eat sesame seeds. They were super sweet about the mixup and gave me a gift card to come back - great customer service! The toast itself was worth ordering. I really enjoyed the balsamic glaze. Parking is easy right out front and it's a good place to settle in a do work or have a cute coffee date since there is ample seating inside and out. read more

Just tell me now where else you can go and have the option of siphon, French press, chemex, aeropress & nitro cold brew I'll wait....obviously the downside is time, if you order a specialty one it takes a while, hopefully (if not it's prob not good). I'm so sick of always drip or espresso or cold brew everywhere; i want tasty coffee, done properly. Ok. WOW. Ever on the search for the perfect cup of local coffee, this place had me saying "ohh, wooooow" with the first sip. Decaf flat white with heavy cream. This is a potent, rich, velvety concoction that will make it worth the drive. Located right at the front of the shopping complex- street parking is limited, but it's a short walk from ample parking lots. Great vibe inside, plenty of open seating. Hard benches and chairs, so you might not stay all day (by design?) but the coffee is top notch! We'll be back! This place is definitely in our top 3! read more

I remember my first visit to L3. I applauded their customer service during Covid times, thanked them for their service, and at that time, thanked them for a quality product and 5-star experience. At that time, the shop was near empty, but the teammates there were vibrant with energy. Now, 3-4 years later, this spot is no longer a hidden gem. Instead, even at 1pm on a Thursday, L3 is packed with locals working remotely, grabbing a quick lunch and catching up with friends. Given the upbeat in attention, this experience felt different than the first, but change is not necessarily a bad thing. The spot has an energy of its own. I was happy to find the new flow is met with same level of attention. The staff delivered my to-go order directly. Everyone was still friendly, the shop just now moves at a faster pace. I deviated from my regulars (flat white or Cortado) to try their nitro cold brew, and gave the caprese avocado toast a try. I'll likely return to my usual (personal preference) but if those two items are your thing, know they prepare them well. Thank you for another grade A experience! I had a iced latte with sugar free vanilla flavor. I needed a quick pick me up and this was perfect. I wasn't sure what I wanted but the friendly young lady who greeted me ask a few questions about what I liked and suggested the latte. The service was quick and she brought my drink to the table when it was ready. This is a cute and cozy place. There's even room to bring a laptop and get some work done. Came here on a Saturday morning, and like most coffee shops, this place was packed with people sitting and talking and people going in and out of the cafe. Their blueberry danish was DELICIOUS, one of the best I've had and I've had my fair share of danishes. I also got the macchiato which was pretty standard, but they had an extensive but not overwhelming list of drinks to choose from. They have a varied menu of drinks from sweet and fun to craft and elevated options for one's coffee or tea. They have some good lunch options like sandwiches and savory pastries. The first few times, the coffee could've been less sweet when i got a flavored latte, but it's a pretty solid local coffee shop for the bridgeland area. I also got a strawberry matcha and the matcha could've been stronger, but I took it that they didn't hand whisk it themselves. Inside, sometimes it's super busy and loud, filled with community groups meeting up, families hanging out with their kids or pets, or kids showing up to study after school. I've meant to stop by here for a while and thought about it on my way home this morning. They are a nice coffee shop with room for people to sit, work, and hangout without feeling to close to others as many other coffee shops feel. The barista was welcoming. I ordered the cold brew with oat milk and the butter croissant. The cold brew was made well and it had just enough oat milk since I like more coffee than milk. The croissant did not look cooked because it was so pale but it was. They brought it out hot and on a nice glass plate. It was one of the best coffees I drank in Cypress. Since I live 10 minutes away from my house, sometimes I would go for the coffee pick up if I feel like drinking coffee. I would always order iced caramel latte with oat milk and my sister would order the ice caramel latte with almond milk. The staff especially the owner are friendly as always! Looking at a solid 5-star rating, I was skeptical about this place but after going in and experiencing it. I agree with other reviewers. Ambiance: Lots of natural light with a good amount of seating. I love to have coffee in a relaxed chair beside the window and luckily they have two of them. There were a few paintings for sale in the store that didn't go with the ambiance but it's a nice way to promote local talent. Service: Warm, welcoming, and friendly. Coffee & Pastries: We had a hot and cold Lavender vanilla latte and it was amazing. The flavor and the strength of the coffee were just right. Definitely has some unique coffee flavors and I can now say that I've tried coffee with Dr.Pepper! My fiancé ordered the 1885 as a cold coffee because he saw that there's Dr.pepper in the coffee and he was intrigued. I've never heard of coffee with a soft drink mixed together like that before, but when I tried his drink I was surprised. It wasn't terrible, but it made you wanna sip again to make sure that was what you were tasting in the coffee. It's not my type of coffee, but it was still fun to try it out. My typical go to coffee is a caramel machiatto and it was good. We eqxh also ordered a breakfast sandwich. My fiancé ordered a Divine morning on white toast and I ordered a Caprese Avocado toast. The taste of the Caprese avocado was on point, I loved the chunks of tomatoes and mozzarella that was paired nicely with some arugula and balsamic dressing. My only complaint was that I wished they would've had used a thicker toast. With all the toppings on top of a regular toast, it made my toast a big soft and soggy. Both sandwiches came on a choice of white or wheat bread and we knew that, but to be honest I was hoping for some kind of special toast. My fiancé got the divine morning on white bread and he was kind of disappointed. For $6 a sandwich, he was looking for something more. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good, but I think if they switch up the bread it would elevate the sandwich just a tad bit more and it can be justified why it is costing $6. Why 5 stars? Because the nitro and cookie were excellent. --- --- --- This is going to be a quick review, because there's not much to say. The nitro was about a 4.5 for me. It was definitely smooth, with just the tiniest hint of flavor that strayed from my favorite. But the service was great and what pushes it to 5-stars for me is the Milk Mustache cookie I purchased with my coffee. I asked the cashier what it was and he said, "they're awesome, but I'm not sure. It's just, like a really dense cookie." He was right. On all counts. If we lived nearby, I could definitely see myself coming often. This is one of the best matcha lattes I've had in a really long time. It's so hard to find good matcha in Houston, but L3 does an amazing job making it! I haven't had a chance to try the coffee yet, but with how good their matcha was, I have no doubt their coffee is even better! Craft coffee is a nice departure from the typical cookie cutter style "coffee shops" in the area. The Cypress area does not have many actual coffee shops, so this is a relief. I stopped by Craft Coffee after some physical therapy after they (PT) recommended it as a nice local shop. The atmosphere is nice and it is obvious that the locals enjoy the coffee; the shop was full. There are plenty of espresso options and offered several dairy alternatives which is always a plus. The staff were courteous and friendly. The prices were slightly higher than the aforementioned cookie cutter shops, but the options were presented much nicer. I decided to enjoy my americano in house and was not disappointed in my stay. It was very relaxing. The customers seemed upscale which is also a plus and they can often throw off the experience. There were plenty of pastry and food items available, if you are interested. Overall, I enjoyed my brew and will likely stop by again if I'm caught at physical therapy without my coffee fix. read more

I have had this cafe on my saved collection list for quite some time now. I finally got a chance to go and it was great. The ladies in the front were awesome and so helpful. They told me about a custom drink that tasted like samoas girl scout cookies. Well obviously I couldn't pass it up so I had to order the regular brewed coffee with that custom flavor. IT WAS SOOOOO TASTY! On a hot day this is the perfect ice coffee if you have a sweet tooth. I also ordered one of their chocolate chip cookies and it was also way better than I ever imagined. I wanted to give this place a try from all of the 5-star reviews and was also in the area. The coffee was definitely a lot better than a lot of places I've tried in Houston. It was full of flavor and very creamy. You can also taste the coffee in the drink. The workers were friendly, and the store is nice and clean. One thing that kept me from giving it 5-star is the price. 2 vanilla lattes with non-dairy milk substitution run you around $14. There were upcharges for adding vanilla and for non-dairy milk. Came here based on reviews, but this was not it. I don't know if it was the time/day we went but the quality of the coffee was mediocre at best. I ordered a cold brew with raspberry chocolate flavor added. It tasted very watered down. My husband also ordered cold brew and they put way too much cream you could barely taste the coffee. He asked them to remake it, and they made an excuse that it was the flavor he added that changed the taste. I also had some card issues there, the employee didn't seem to know what she was doing and scanned my card 4 times. Two transactions went through, thankfully the owner was able to refund right away, but this also put a pause on my card because my bank thought it was fraud, which gave me a day of headaches to resolve. read more

I found my new coffee place in Cypress! I ordered an americano. The coffee was nice and smooth with a little bit of sweetness. The customer service was good, nothing crazy or over the top. The place is very chill and has a couple of seats inside and outside as well. The coffee shop is located in the Bridgelands shopping strip. There is parallel parking out front or a lot in the back.
