Bad Ass! Looking for a quiet place to work or meet with friends? Looking for a good cup of coffee? Look no further. This quaint little coffee shop is amazing! I have never been here before, and the people working were very friendly and helpful. I ended up grabbing a monkey mocha iced and a bad ass pumpkin hot. Both are excellent. The restrooms were very clean and the overall shop was very clean as well.

Good coffee shop, good coffee, good beans, I bought two bags of- some of them come grinded already! They also have a drive through - and this is where I ask them if drinks are too sweet. Service is good, coffee is good, very convenient

Five stars all the way! I can't recommend this coffee shop enough. This shop was able to capture the coastal island vibes the moment you walk in the door - from the decorative interior, luscious plants, all the way to the tropical ingredients. You can read up on their legacy, how they got their name and where they all started by browsing through the art within. Their service was top tier. Manager Mike was very informative, friendly and excited about his work. His positive attitude definitely rubbed off on everyone around. The whole shop was nothing but smiles and good conversation. The coffee was absolutely fantastic. We got to sample their freeze blend, which was delicious. They make their ice cubes out of coffee! So, no more watered down coffee in this blistering Texas heat. We will definitely be visiting again and hoping that this company expands further into the southwest portions of Houston.

Such a cute place for a coffee!! If you are someone who likes donkeys and coffee, it's the place for you. Coffees are great too. They are not too sweet nor too bitter. And the best part, you also get to donate for the lovely donkeys :)

I've tried this coffee spot on several occasions already and I must admit that's it has a nice cozy setting inside the business. The service has always been very pleasant and prompt. Today the young man who made my drink did an amazing presentation and the drink was extremely good. Definitely keep up the great work and you have a lifetime customer.

I was in need of an afternoon pick me up after the Galentine's Yelp Elite Event. North Houston CM Brittany suggested Bad Ass Coffee since it was near by. I wasn't familiar with this establishment prior to visiting. At present, there are only two in TX (the other one is in McKinney). This is a nice coffee shop in a small shopping strip. The store is pretty spacious and it was very clean. On the day that I stopped in, they were selling merch for 25% off. They also have a drive thru. The staff was very friendly and provided suggestions of drinks that I may like based on my flavor preferences. I decided to order the Three Waves Latte with Oat Milk. It has coconut, caramel, and macadamia nut. I prefer iced coffee in the afternoon, but it was cold that day so I went with a hot coffee. It was so good! I loved the coconut flavor and I got the boost that I needed for my drive home. Thanks for the recommendation, B!

Got a to-go order from here recently in an effort to try something different. Lots of different options here that hover near Hawaiian type flavoring, but plenty of others as well. Order was ready when the app said it would be and placed in a to-go carrier as we had 4 drinks. Drink was fine for me. Really nothing that stood out. I liked that they used coffee-ice for the iced lattes as it prevented some watering down of the drink.

Loving the place for sake of the name alone (too bad the coffee couldn't hold up to the hype, see below). Pretty busy on a random Saturday afternoon, though, as we're dropping in after a day spent with the Miata Club. Medium decaf flat white made with heavy cream (ordered as a latte with no foam, and I can overhear the baristas now trying to figure out what the ratios are supposed to be). The verdict: they didn't get the ratios right. This one is way too heavy on the cream, or perhaps the coffee itself is just too delicate in flavor. I _will_ give them kudos for being able to get it with no foam, though. So, there's some skill here at least. The live-edge hardwood tables and teal colored walls certainly give off the tropical vibe but the metal chairs aren't making it very inviting to stay for long. And I wish there was stronger Hawaiian reggae playing, but alas, it's just sounds like Bruno Mars on vacation. Cool concept; underwhelming execution. PS: with the School of Rock sharing a wall with the shop, you're not going to get the cozy hang-out-and-read vibes from this place; all I hear right now is a sad trombone (Womp womp) and muffled AC/DC.

I came in on a Wednesday at 2:30 and it was busy but not noisy. The shop is very clean, I love the Hawaiian theme dark colors and turquoise. The vibe is relaxed with some island tunes lightly playing. I ordered the Orange Mango Smoothie with a shot of energy. It was delicious and very refreshing. The bathrooms were spotless. A great stop in to get a little work done or chill with friends.

"Condiment" station or self serve station. Notice the syrup bottles there. They also have a sugar free option.

Had to try out the new coffee spot in Cypress. Very spacious in the inside and a good place to study or just have a coffee date. They serve not only variety of coffee but also snacks/food. Upon arrival I was greeted by most the workers with a "Aloha" which was a nice touch. The person who took my order was very helpful and answered all my questions. I appreciate the fact that I can adjust my sweetness level on the drinks or even the sugar free options. I did try the kono brew and I get that its special type of brew but man almost 6 dollars for a small is kind of pricey. As I was waiting I notice the area where they keep napkins, sugar packets and other essentials has syrup bottles there. I haven't seen ice cube coffees else where but it was great to have. For a first visit drinks, workers, environment all were great.

Great coffee place! So clean and the girls were so welcoming when we mentioned it was our first time. I appreciated that the cashier offered us a sample as we were looking at the menu. I forgot to ask her name but she was very helpful. They have a variety of snacks and beverages. There's limited parking for their location but there's more space around. The drinks were delicious to say the least. Definitely coming back!

Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and I will say our server was very nice and welcoming. One thing we immediately noticed, though, was that the menu prices were crossed out and changed. The waitress explained that prices have been fluctuating, but it did feel a little unpolished and confusing seeing gouged-out pricing on multiple items. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla, and my wife got the South of the Border omelet. We also had the roasted potatoes, which ended up being a very small portion. My main issue was that several items listed (or expected) didn't come as described. The quesadilla was supposed to come with sour cream and pico, but they weren't served on the side. We were told the pico was inside the quesadilla, which wasn't noted on the menu. Additionally, both dishes had raw, unsautéed onions mixed into the scrambled eggs. That wasn't listed in the description, and I personally don't like raw onions, so it definitely affected the meal for me. I think ingredients like that should be clearly stated. The cheese sauce tasted like standard heated nacho cheese and was very runny, not what we expected from a breakfast dish. The sour cream also tasted off. Overall, while the service was friendly, the food and menu presentation didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning.

When it showed up I was amazed by the large pile of food. As I began to eat though, I started to get disappointed. I cut into my fried egg expecting it to run all over my plate, but it seems like it was cooked somewhere between over medium and over hard. I was looking for tasting the hot honey, which appears to be under the dish as opposed to on top of it. I was looking forward to a soft fluffy biscuit, but it too was over hard. The Chicken was well cooked, a bit thin, and I'm not sure that the breading tasted anything more like Captain crunch than it did any other breading. However every time I cut into it the breading kind of just fell off into the gravy. The gravy and potatoes were redeeming, with good flavor gravy and well cooked potatoes. Overall, it wasn't bad, I ate it all, I just expected better for my $17.
