It was a cloudy cold day and I was out of creamer. MrM suggested City Brew Coffee, where he goes when heading out for work. Rachel was a lil ray of sunshine on that yucky day. Super sweet and patient as I was not awake when I went. Got MrM a Mt Morning coffee, his favorite, got the boy a hot chocolate and a white chocolate mocha for myself. $14. I have to wake up stupid early for class and at 4am, I am barely functional enough to make my own coffee at home. Before 6am, the only coffee shops you're going to find open are Dunkin Donuts and maybe if you're lucky, a Starbucks, neither of which I consider to be decent coffee. What a gem this place is! The barista was super friendly, despite it being 5am, and the espresso was great! Also got a breakfast taco with the green sauce and I was not disappointed. I love this place. It's a hidden gem, that I passed by everyday for 3 yrs until I just decided to give it a shot and it was the best decision I've made. I haven't been to a Starbucks in years. Great service and coffee. Got a mocha blueberry latte with almond milk, two shots and it was a perfect pick me up to my morning, not too sweet and coffee tasted strong and good. Barista was very friendly and informative on their options. They had some banana nut bread that I also got a slice of and it was moist and yummy, the barista immediately offered to warm it up since it was kept cold in the fridge. Would definitely come back by. Had our dog in the car with us and was offered multiple treats and to see my latte topped with a puppy paw cover for no spillage was adorable. I bought a mocha raspberry hot latte with 2 extra shots of espresso (4 total) to mimic my usual order at Starbucks, and this one tastes twice as good. Full to the brim and excellently flavored. Even better: usually is over ten dollars there and it was $7.04 at this quick place. No crazy line, super fast and friendly service. When I first pulled up to the drive-through window I was struck by the simple menu and thought that everything looked to be pretty basic, but the lady told me that she literally has everything so just to tell her whatever I wanted and she would make it. She did not disappoint and the whole stop took maybe 3 minutes. Was I late to work? Yes. I'm not great at time management and wanted to try this place out? Was it worth it? Absolutely 100% worth it. I don't think I could say enough nice things about their customer service!! Every single employee is helpful, knowledgeable, and very patient. I've even been asked after being handed my coffee if I wanted to taste it before paying and make sure the milk/coffee ratio was right for my liking! As for the coffee, it is amazing. Not just blah okay I could brew it myself coffee, coffee with flavor! The espresso has the same great bold flavor as well. They have so many different flavor syrups, both regular and sugar free. They also carry several types of non dairy milk which is a huge bonus! The lines always move quickly and I've never gotten a drink that wasn't correct handed to me. I would love to see this place grow and become huge! I used to drive through city brew at least 3-4 times a week before school. The staff are polite and very welcoming the coffee comes out fresh and with-in a matter of seconds. I always order the hazel nut mocha with a double shot of espresso (so not a morning person) and a chocolate chip muffin (on occasion). Sometimes pricey if you order the bells and whistles but the quality is so much better than a large chain such as Starbucks. They know me so well here, that they often have my coffee ready for me as I pull up! How is that for customer service?!?!?!?!? read more

Hands down the best coffee I've ever had. Employees are so friendly, and my coffee comes out in a matter of minutes. Quality coffee with fantastic service and efficiency makes for a Happy Victoria! My best friend lives across the street and she always had her cup of CityBrew and always raved about it so I decided to give it a try a couple of weeks ago and I am hooked! Really wish they would expand to more areas, maybe the Heights? My favorite right now is a Banana Chocolate Mocha, it's not on the menu but you can pretty much throw any words at them and be sure that it'll be the best cup of coffee you've ever had.
