IS VITALITY BOWL BETTER THAN EVERBOWL???? The Ambiance is cool. Very informative of ingredients. It's quiet and was clean. The Service was good too. The cashier was patient and answered our questions even the ones that were repeated for reassurance. The BOWLS.... My girlfriend got a Medium Vitality Bowl (Rating: 4/10) Base- Açaí Toppings- Granola & Honey (Complimentary), Double Banana, Pineapples, Mango and Peanut Butter She said her fruit wasn't sweet and the pineapples were frozen. The richness of the açaí was lacking. We're used to a certain caliber and standard. AND I got a Medium Vitality Bowl (Rating: 7/10) Bases- Guava and Acerola Blend, Blue Bliss Blend, and Cacao Toppings- Granola and Honey (Complimentary), Banana, Blueberry, Goji Berries, and Almond Butter The Almond Butter was stuck on the inside of the top and wasn't really in my bowl. The Guava and Acerola Blend had frozen pieces in my bowl (might not be a popular option). I could slightly taste the Guava, what I did taste I liked, but I would've like to taste more of it. Cacao flavor wasn't rich either. They also don't have as many options as EverBowl, which is our GoTo açaí bowl spot. However, for some reason they're scarce in the city of Houston. My rating...we definitely prefer EverBowl over Vitality Bowl. We wouldn't return. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERBOWL for sure. I've been coming here for a while now, and I'm so glad I discovered this spot! I absolutely love the Glow Bowl...it's my go-to. The wraps are also great, and the portion sizes are generous. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and truly satisfying. The staff is always friendly and quick, whether I'm dining in or ordering to-go. There isn't enough Acai bowl places around the area that serve a good bowl that isn't gonna water down in minutes, it had a thick consistency from my drive to work it didn't melt/water down, the size of the medium is pretty big and pricey but I feel like it's worth it cuz how big this bowl is. I stumbled upon this five month old restaurant and almost missed it looking for the phō place next door. It is a very clean restaurant with a pop of color. It's a very calming atmosphere with soft and hip music! Their menu has many food options. With the help of the cheery owner, she suggested a house-made panini. Everything is made to order, and we narrowed the selection down to the Salami on white. It comes with mozzarella, and there was no extra charge for the goat cheese substitution. It was worth the wait. I ordered to-go, and it was delivered to the table I sat at. I felt pretty special. The flattened sandwich also came with fresh spinach, sun dried tomatoes, twangy Dijon, and creamy pesto. It tastes exactly how it sounds! Fragrant! The restroom was spacious and clean! And they offer a high chair as well. They also have quality educational posters about the less known food. They also have a points club and their star juice is celery. Worth it? Yes at least once! I've come here a couple of times and have gotten Acai bowls and smoothies. Sometimes it takes a while to get a bowl (10-25 mins) depending on how many people are working and if there's a rush. Service - 3.5/5 + can take a while to prepare bowls + some workers didn't know how to answer questions like what is ___ or do y'all have ____ + i observed multiple "first time" individuals ask questions about what certain food items are and i felt that the ladies working at those times didn't know answers. i think it's important to know what you're selling/serving Atmosphere - 3/5 + not really a problem but the space is small + quiet - not a deal breaker either but music might lighten the mood and make 30 min wait a little more pleasant Bowls - 3.8/5 + taste taste taste + good variety of toppings + pricing makes the bowl taste better but my wallet cry Overall - 4 because it's a good place to try at least once. Vitality bowls is one of my favorite spots in Cypress. I've been coming since summer of 2019. I've never been disappointed in the service and I've always been treated with kindness from all the employees. Jay and Sue (the owners) are wonderful people. They always ensure that your food is great. I'm always satisfied when I leave vitality bowls with the quality and care put into making my food. With the food being fresh you can't expect it to be done in 2 minutes like your food at McDonalds. They get busy, if you're in a rush order over the phone or download their app and you can see the menu and order, PLUS you get rewards from downloading it. Disappointing and Overpriced = Vitality Bowl Driving by Vitality Bowl in Cypress, Texas every so often I was intrigued by the milieu's name, which today for some reason I remembered as "Power Bowl" thinking it was a venue that offered up "healthy meals", which is not the case I discovered after having lunch this afternoon. While Vitality Bowls may think of itself as healthy they have few choices that fall into this category in my opinion. Most of the "bowls" are filled with fruits laden with sugar. While it is true that VB puts some healthy ingredients in their bowls like Tumeric, etc. the fact of the matter is that the bowls are high caloric and not anything I would remotely consider trying. Since I was there I opted on their kale salad with turkey at a cost of around $12.00. The bowl was largely filled with kale and a minuscule amount of quinoa. The turkey looked like it came from a plastic sealed package of lean meat they sell at Krogers or H-E-B not carved, fresh turkey and the portion size was meager. While waiting for my meal the clerk asked me if I had ever tried kombucha. I told her I've drunk kombucha for many years. She gave me a sample of their two kombuchas on tap: cherry and blueberry; both were overly sweet and nothing remotely close to the original kombucha that I have knew and which I enjoy. VB's menu is predominantly "gimmicky". Most of the patrons that came in during the forty-five minutes I was in the restaurant were Millenials none of whom were the pinnacle of fitness. Hence, if you are someone who appreciates meals that are comprised of proteins and other healthy ingredients you won't find them at Vitality Bowl. For my own part caveat emptor. I came. I tried. I have been a regular at this place for a while and love the product they put out, but I've been extremely disappointed in their service lately and have been coming less and less. I love açaí bowls and this is pretty much the only place to get a good quality one, but all of the staff act like they are miserable when I come in. Also, I ordered the liberty bowl and did not receive what I was expecting. They have been advertising it for a while so to receive what I received was disappointing.
