Cypress location doesn't disappoint, either in person or during take-out. The food is food and consistent.

Friendly atmosphere and greeted when walked in. Cashier was helpful and ask he'd if we been there before. Ordered Pepperoni Pizza, Turkey Avocado Sandwich and Dr Pepper. Received order in good time and everything was fresh. Italian Bread Sticks were a plus. read more

"DELICIOUS SALADS BUT LONG LINES!" 08-08-2025 I joined some coworkers for lunch here, and it was my very first visit. They introduced me to the place, and I must say, the salad I ordered was absolutely delicious. I went with the Shrimp and Avocado Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, and every ingredient was fresh and well balanced. No complaints on quality, taste, or price, especially with the teacher discount, it was worth every penny. Customer service was decent. The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the cashier who took my order was very helpful in explaining the menu since I was a first-timer. They do offer self-ordering kiosks, but the restaurant was so crowded that even those had long lines, making them less useful during a busy lunch rush. Because of how packed it was, the servers were making small mistakes with orders. While my meal came out just fine, two of my coworkers received the wrong items. They didn't complain and just kept what they were given, but it was frustrating considering how long we had already waited in line and then at the table for our food. Waiting is one thing, but getting the wrong order can make the experience less enjoyable. For the food alone, I would definitely recommend giving it a try, though I'd suggest visiting at a less busy time if you can. I should start by saying that I'm generally a Local Foods/ Panera lady. However, the Panera in my local area holds a...less than stellar reputation, so today I tried Newks. The three similar in nature, the half and half special felt comfortingly familiar. That being said, I went for the half chicken pesto sandwich, and tomato basil soup. For good measure, I also ordered the chicken tortilla soup. I cannot speak to the service or interior because my order was DoorDash delivered. What I can say is that the chicken tortilla soup was my favorite of the three. The textures of their soups is a bit strange to me, almost goopy, but the flavor and spice level of this one is spot on. While the texture and flavor of the tomato basil threw me off, I did eat my entire half chicken pesto sandwich. I wish it had one more element, like seasoned, smashed avocado, or another element adding a little moisture, but the peppers were fresh, lightly cooked, crisp, and delicious. Plus, the chicken, although unseasoned tasted high qualify. Overall, I'm glad I tried them! I'll be on the look out for additional dishes of interest. I'm sure I'll have a Newks go to soon! read more

The restaurant is always cleaning and inviting. The menu always remains the same with minimal changes. The staff welcomes you upon entering the store and are quick to taking your order at the front counter. I have been to this location numerous times and every single time the preparation and taste of the food is always great. If you're looking for value in your mail, I recommend the half pair as you get to try two items. The Newks Q sandwich is great along with a Caesar salad and in cooler months, the potato soup is also a great choice. If you get a beverage, the togo cups that they provide are of high-quality and can be reused over and over if you take it home. We thoroughly enjoy this location due to the atmosphere, the staff, and the amazing food. If you do tend to eat here often, I highly recommend becoming part of the rewards program. read more
