We ordered the Farmhouse breakfast with biscuits and sausage, a kids' Farmhouse with pancakes, and breakfast tacos. Nearly 45 minutes passed before our food arrived. During that time, my coffee never came, and no one checked on our table. When the food finally arrived, my order was wrong. I received toast instead of biscuits and bacon instead of sausage. Lauren apologized and said she would bring the correct items, but they didn't arrive until we had already finished eating. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with the manager, no manager could be found. I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I'm usually very patient. What was most frustrating wasn't just the wait, but the lack of communication, urgency, and basic customer service throughout the meal. It's unfortunate because The Gathery is a small business that I'd like to support, but experiences like this make it difficult to return. Based on this visit, I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend it to others. I hope management addresses these issues because the food has potential, but the service fell far short.
