Thank you to YELP that this location was perfect for my group of 10 people for breakfast. The menu had something for everybody, the quality was delicious and the price was perfect! There was ample parking on the street bathroom was clean and can I say again how delicious the food was? If you pass by this area or like me, decided 5 miles out that we all were gonna do a U-turn and head back and go to this highly rated YELP place, do so and tell your party of 10 not to complain because their tummies will be satisfied lol highly recommend will return read more

Fast and great service, delicious food!!!! Definitely coming back again!! Grandkids loved this place!

Great breakfast is an art form, and the artists at Paradise paint a Caravaggio masterpiece daily. They never mess up anything and I've eaten there for years and years. Food servers are always cordial, prompt and anticipate your coffee depletion in the most timely fashion. Mexican immigrants owners, and staff, just work their butts off making wonderful breakfasts move from a mere wish to a very tasty reality. read more

When in the area there aren't tons of options so you will more than likely visit Breakfast Paradise at least once. This place is HOPPING, I didn't see a vacant chair at anytime. The service staff does a great job with getting butts in chairs and cleaning it off for the next group. Our food was good- better than average, and the chorizo was nice and spicy! The area for improvement is on the drinks, it took a while to get our coffees and then longer for a refill. A rotating coffee person would be helpful for anyone that fancy's more than one cup. Overall, highly recommend for a tasty and hardy meal. read more

An awesome hometown local place with poor signage. Jeff was driving and is using Yelp maps to get us there and we drove right by it. Windows all steamed up due to the nice cool atmosphere inside and the super humid Texas weather outside. We both had a couple of eggs and bacon or sausage and biscuit and gravy. Service was great and the food was better. Nothing fancy just good food. read more

Great environment with an awesome variety on the menu. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent.

Food was delicious; friendly atmosphere, we enjoyed our meal and highly recommend! Our waitress was attentive and took care of our requests.

The food is totally worth it, I recommend everyone to try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Saw this as a suggested breakfast stop and decided to give it a shot against the mixed reviews on here! I'm glad I took the gamble because it was well worth it! I had the chilaquiles with green sauce and grilled fajita chicken. The boys built their own breakfast tacos, and no one left hungry! The service was amazing, there were plenty of servers who didn't hesitate to check on our table. Definitely a good place to bookmark when traveling outside of Houston city limits! read more

The Breakfast Paradise is a good place to visit in this quaint town. Food is very flavorful for breakfast, but if I was to say anything about this place the plates are full, but need more equal ratios. I haven't tried the other food items but have seen and you can smell and see that they look great. 4 out of 5 read more

Stopped In after picking up deer at Arnold's, they recommend it and we weren't disappointed!'n You have to look for it, no big sign but great food. I had the paradise platter and my son had the super burrito and both we excellent. If you're in Hempstead and want a great breakfast this IS Paradise! read more

6-1-24 Hadn't been here in a long time, so thought we'd grab something. The menu had so many spelling mistakes, I wanted to get a marker out and correct it! Ordered coffee (got a good dose of grounds), a sandwich (not bad- little greasy), and onion rings-slightly darker than most onion rings. Ate half, and not more than 20 minutes later I was so sick (haven't been sick in 4 years!) I broke out in a terrible sweat- I spent more time in the BR than I did eating. Since this was the only thing I'd eaten so far, it had to be this food. I ended up laying in a fetal position for three hours to relax from the cramps. Called them and told the girl to tell the manager they should probably change the frying oil, and she hung up on me. Tried to call back, and the message box is full.... Since you couldn't resolve this over the phone, maybe social media will get the message across. read more

It doesn't look like much when you walk past because it isn't much it also doesn't taste that great it's flavorless a little bland and they made us wait and unnecessary amount of time before we even hit drinks the coffee wasn't that great and the cashier was a little bit rude they were not accommodating to our seating arrangements and overall it just kind of sucked so if you going anywhere else eat anywhere else. Salt Pepper Onion Powder kind of restaurant if you know you know. read more

You have stop and eat at a place called Breakfast Paradise and so we did. Just a short drive off of 290, the place is worth the detour. An old time diner of sorts this place isn't much on spelling but large plates of breakfast items it does well. Nothing fancy here but the food is hearty and you will leave full and satisfied. read more

You know it's good when all the locals pile in after church on Sunday. Lots of variety with vegetarian options. The green scramble with egg whites was delicious, topped with their homemade salsa. (Tad spicy and delicious) Pancakes were as God intended, as was the ample serving of hash browns. Worth the short trip off the highway! read more

We're a couple of Houston Burb people that planned a trip to the Hempstead Farmers Market. We're always looking for local mom/pop places to eat. We came across Breakfast Paradise (even though they also do lunch). We had the Mexican Breakfast and the Chorizo Potato Omelet. This Chorizo is the best I've ever had. The hot sauce was delicious. It was a busy Saturday morning on the day of a festival. So we had a front seat to the parade. The service was spot on and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back and taking our out-of-town guest with us. read more

A great local find. We stopped in on the way to Brenham and had a great breakfast. Great regular breakfast options and great small town diner vibe. Had good service and food came out fast from the kitchen. read more

The food is always good, and wait staff are nice. Dining room is pretty small, but the booths are spacious. We love going here on the weekends. read more

Good coffee, sweet servers, interesting menu. This is an easy pull off near 6 and 290. They've got standard breakfast, and healthy breakfast, and Mexican breakfast....really something for everyone. The multi grain pancakes were delicious, especially with bananas added. The chorizo potato omelet was nicely made and the house salsa was a good addition. Very fast service, too. The building is old but very clean and in fairly good repair. I would totally return. read more

Paradise used to be our go to breakfast stop when visiting Hempstead, but things have changed dramatically. Don't know what happened because the food quality is definitely not what it used to be. Toast half cooked with a feeble attempt at buttering it, sausage potato platter had potatoes not cooked throughly, ham!! Wow serving lunch ham slices in place of a real slice of breakfast ham is taking it a bit far. They even cut the ham sandwich slice in half? This owner needs to get a better cook, better quality ingredients and really take a look at why more folks are eating at McDonald's down the road. Hate to say this but it will be a while before I return here..... have a happy meal read more

Wonderful service! Great little hole in the wall breakfast spot. Food came quickly, hot and fresh. Blueberry pancakes are fluffy and moist, no syrup needed. But if you are a syrup kinda guy, the syrup is served warm. Best omelette I've ever had, stuffed with sausage, crispy bacon, bell peppers, jalapeños and cheese. YUM!! Don't look any further, this is your breakfast stop! read more

Great food. Service is good but be prepared to wait for a table on weekend mornings bc the place is BUSY!

Wow! Delicious food and great service! I had the Poblano Omelette and it was high end restaurant quality. Compliments to the chef! Our group also had the breakfast items including the fluffiest homemade biscuits. Highly recommend and will be craving to return if ever passing through again. Plenty of street parking in front and sides. read more

Small town vibe, no need to overdress, like at most brunch places. Very quick service with a friendly staff. They take cash and card!

We were on our way from Houston to Austin on a Sunday morning trying to find a breakfast and we found our way here!! I had the Paradise Fajita Omelette and my wife had the breakfast tacos. We felt rushed to order; three different servers (back to back) asked if we were ready to order, there were three of us dining; 1. Ham and eggs; thin sliced ham (lunch meat) half of a slice, toast (or should I say warm bread). 2. Sausage potato scramble; sausage was what appeared to be polish sausage, potatoes had no color were not fully cooked and cold inside, red pepper was raw, and the toast (warm bread, no color) was served in a basket which did not have anything lining it. 3. Pancakes, eggs, and ham: the pancakes were half the size of the ones I have had in the past), I paid extra to add strawberries (or should I say strawberry) to the pancakes, the ham was half a slice of lunch meat ham, I had scrambled eggs which were mixed on the grill (or in pan) so I had chunks of egg whites. We were very disappointed with the visit today, was not up to standards we had on our previous visits. read more
