So I haven't been here in like 20 years, but this place never disappoints. The burgers are salty and delicious. Everything you want from a juicy burger. While it's not the best burger I've ever had it's still amazing as burgers go. This is definitely a home town classic. Great bang for your buck! Cheese Burger: $5.50 Curly Fries: $2.60 Such a great deal!

Do you ever think of a burger that reminds you of home? Does that burger make you heart happy and make your tummy grumble with want and need? The Hill has that burger for me. Growing up in Houston, we would venture out to Belleville on random days to buy sausage at the Belleville Meat Market. Very random, I know. One day, my parents found The Hill. It has a mom-and-pop shop feel that welcomes your hungry tummies and happy tastebuds. We instantly fell in love with the burgers. The meat is perfectly juicy without being greasy. The bread to meat ratio is ideal. The bacon cheeseburger is what dreams are made of. Get crazy, treat yourself and add some avocado to that. I recently came back here with my parentals and brought the boyfriend since he was visiting Texas. Everyone was in love and so happy after this very filling & nostalgic burger adventure. Everyone should go to the Hill and devour a burger with a side of tots or sweet potato fries!

It's March 11, 2018 and have to say the review by Thomas K. A year ago is valid today. Food is not notable, all frozen products fried up -- crinkle fries, tots, catfish, steak fingers, burgers, etc. I posted the recent menu in photos. Steak fingers are ok, hamburgers are fresh and look like they would taste good, but they are just boring - I can't really think of another way to describe it. The place is a 1950s theme decor with old CocaCola signs, and playing 1950s top forty hit tunes, clean & friendly. Its definitely not your destination burger stop, but it'll do when you don't want to make the trip to Old Kenney store a few miles away. We'll probably stop again from time to time, when in Bellville, but mainly because there is not another burger place in town (Dairy Barn doesn't count)

Solid burger and fries in a historic burger joint at a fair price. Hard to beat. Enjoy the Botts soda when you visit!

Great place! They are offering fresh burgers from local ranchers. They play 50s music and are super friendly. Worth the trip.

I've been to this place a couple times and have enjoyed the food each time. It is nice to sit and watch all the motorcycles go by.

Frozen burger patties when they claimed to be homemade. Completely disappointed in this establishment. Even the milkshakes were just okay.

I had eggs Benedict with crab, wonderful bacon, and home fries, and because I had traveled all the way out to Belleville, Texas. I made it a point to complement it all with a pancake, which was equally wonderful. It's a lovely restaurant and I think I read somewhere that it is old time Texas architecture and I must tell you it really was quite lovely. There was a patio and the weather was wonderful. We chose not to dine there but the next time we're in town. There is no question that we will make it a point to do so. The bartender was very capable, bloody Mary's and mimosas as well as a myriad of other drinks. Very many top shelf, liquors, and a wonderful cup of coffee make for not only a pleasant dining experience, but frankly a wonderful dining experience. If you're ever in Belleville, Texas, I would make it a point to stop by and enjoy really a top level dining experience.

From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt cozy and inviting with a great atmosphere. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, our waitress was so sweet. I ordered fish and my husband had the steak, both were beautifully presented, but more importantly, absolutely delicious. The quality of the food really stood out. One of the highlights of the evening was watching fresh pasta being made right in front of us, which is something you don't come across often. We'll definitely be back. This has quickly become one of our new favorite spots, and I highly recommend it.
