First off I have a serious issue when a server locks their focus in on just one out of two of the people that are their customers! This female server locked in on my partner and only made eye contact or addressed me once!! She made it feel like I wasn't worth serving. The restaurant was clean and had just 2 other people there at the time. The female server that that table had was very attentive and even attended to us also when she saw our drinks were almost empty. The food tore our stomachs up!! We got loaded fries ( that were definitely NOT loaded ( pic included) and chicken wings ( which weren't bad) but we paid for it later in the bathroom!! When I find a place where the food isn't that good but the service is, I'll come back but with this place I will not be back!! read more

Passing through, stopped for a burger. They had a unique one with a squared piece of panko breaded fried mozzarella cheese on top, instead of your typically melted American. Also had pickles and mayo. It was different, not sure I would order that again, but its worth a try. I just prefer the melty ooey goodness of the cheese incasing my burger patty, and it was a literally too crispy - panko takes over the burger. Fries were battered and excellent! Price is about par for inflation and its a small mom & pop so they gotta stay in business. I think for the full meal (burger, fried, drink) it was $19. Was driving through and saw this establishment and had to stop. The white building looked rustic it had an old dinner vibe. Once inside the waitress were friendly and immediately sat me down. Inside of the restaurant was like I was sitting in somebody's kitchen. The restaurant was clean and spacious inside. Furthermore the restrooms were clean. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. The plate was as amazing and the mashed potatoes were amazing. The mashed potato tasted homemade and fresh. The chicken fried chicken was flavorful but the meat was tough. 9 out of 10 times, I betting the chicken is tender but for some reason I got a tough piece. The service was wonderful. We went for breakfast and they had the quintessential small town diner where everyone knows everyone, probably because they do. They aren't fake country or that new age farm country, this is just a simple diner serving up some good food with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Patti's Diner. The restaurant is super clean and nicely decorated. The tables are not crammed in which allows a reasonably comfortable distance from others. There's an outside play area and a side dining room in addition to the main dining room. Restrooms were also very clean & tidy. The customer service was top notch. Friendly and helpful ladies who look like they enjoy their job. No bad attitudes here. Excellent customer service! The food was really good. My belly is sufficiently stuffed with the goodness of a mozzarella burger & onion rings. I didn't realize the mozzarella was going to be fried but I'm not complaining. It was really good. A huge slice of fried mozzarella on an equally sized burger patty. Husband got the mushroom Swiss burger with caramelized onions and fries. We both loved our burgers. They were hand pressed, seasoned well and juicy. We live about an hour away but you can bet we will be back. They have new hours starting today..open every day & close at 9pm every night! read more

Service was 5 stars. They are attentive, accommodating, and pleasant. The ambiance is what you'd imagine for a small town diner. I ordered their spicy chicken sandwich. I had some French fries and a couple onion rings. The sandwich would have definitely hit the spot had the bottom bun not been soggy from so much buffalo sauce. An easy fix to keep this from happening is to put the cheese and vegetables on the bottom to protect the bun, or only put the sauce on top of the chicken and then stack veggies. All in all, I really want to try some of their other food items in the future and will be definitely going back. read more

Out of the way stop north of I-10, on 359 in Pattison, TX. One of the best chicken fried steaks I've had in the area. Tge chicken fried chicken was good too. The Monday meatloaf special was enough to feed two. I loved the green beans and the mashed potatoes were good. There is ample parking and seating. I've found the service variable depending on the attentiveness of the servers. Go and enjoy. The banana pudding is better than Buccees but at $8 I'm one and done. We've been going to Patti's since it opened and never had an experience like tonight. My wife has been excited about the Chicken & Dumplings since she saw it on the specials last weekend. She ordered the dish and it came out simply awful. It was "clumpy" (her word), over spiced, and the dumplings were bland as if they were nothing but Bisquick. She tried three spoons and told the server she couldn't eat it, it was that bad. When he returned we were told they can't take it off the bill as we ordered it. So, they sent us a simply awful dish and I still paid for the dish. Pathetic customer service tonight! I have to say, since the chef had changed the food quality has taken a huge nosedive at this location. I understand the owners have many restaurants but Patti's has gotten to where we may stop going until we hear about changes. It's simply not worth the money at this point. read more

Amazing service and amazing food. Our family was out at the Summer Breeze RV park so we decided to stroll in for dinner. I got the spicy cheese burger and my husband had the mozzarella cheese burger. Everything was delicious. And to top it off we had a strawberry milkshake that was good as well! The owner was so nice and was super welcoming to my kids. From the service to the food, everything was great. The fried pickles were super crispy and delicious. We both got the cheese spicy burger and it was beyond good!
