Doesn't exist... at least not at the posted address. Tried driving past several times but couldn't locate it.

First time trying Portillo's and wow -- I was impressed. I ordered a Chicago-style hot dog (no…read moreonions, peppers, or pickles), a chili cheese dog, a medium fry, a chocolate cake shake, and a slice of their chocolate cake. The hot dogs had great flavor, and I liked the amount of toppings. The quality was solid, with a nice snap to the bite. The fries were mediocre nothing special But the real stars of the meal were the cake shake and the slice of chocolate cake. The hot dogs would make my rating a 4 but the cake slice + cake shake bumps my review up to a solid 5! I wasn't expecting the shake to be that good -- it was loaded with pieces of cake in every sip. The chocolate cake itself was moist, airy, and rich without being overly sweet. It had the perfect balance between cake and frosting. I'll definitely be back and making this a regular treat.

First heard of Portillo's at the car show at Reliant stadium a few months back as they had a vendor…read morebooth in the arena and they handed out info about the place. Just been so busy but finally got time to go and try. I will say that I wasn't impressed overall. But I also knew I was going for a hotdog and my friends were gonna order a broiled chicken sandwich. First from outside the bldg looks nice and modern and has a diner vibe. Inside looks diner/retro sorta and plenty of seats inside and outside. Overall appearance looks good. Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful with our questions since first time visitors. My main issue is they are pretty much à la carte. But do have a few combos on a center menu bar. but it didn't list all items or show all items available in combo form. I asked cashier if I had to order each item separate and she said yes. So my hotdog was $3.89, reg fries $2.99 and drink $2.49 so a total of $9.37 before taxes and the broiled chicken sandwich $7.19 so a total of $12.67 ea. Total for all 3 was $37.57 The hotdog had no size choices meaning regular or 100% beef frank or larger size. So the hotdog I got was a regular sized hotdog and the bun and toppings were bigger in size and portion then hotdog. The broiled chicken looks like a half of piece of a chicken patty, very small for the price. Way smaller than other fast food places like a chic-fil-a, Whataburger or Popeyes. The fries were actually really good but I wanted onion rings so when I asked the cashier if they were real onions cut up and battered or even pre frozen but real onion rings and not fake onions rings like BK she said no they are not real onion rings so I passed on ordering them. Once we went to the drink station they were out of sweet tea, and didn't have lids to fit the cups they gave us. I got a soda and then when I picked up our food I saw a drink station for drive thru and asked cashier if she could give me a sweet tea and she did but it didn't taste good at all so I decided to drink the root beer I originally poured. Trash bins were full, my table was clean but the seat I had to wipe down crumbs before sitting down. They had a lot of workers behind the counter not sure why there wasn't one or two in dining room cleaning and taking trash out and restocking drink station. Over all the hotdog did taste ok, but as a comparison the Chicago dog I use to get at James Coney Island with the option to upgrade to a beef frank is way better overall. They really should add an option to upgrade to a bigger dog. The chicken sandwich overall tasted good but very small and over priced. Due to portion size and higher prices compared to what you can get at other fast food places with larger portions I probably won't return.

My partner took me here for lunch. I'd never been before. I got a sandwich and a cup of chicken…read moretortilla soup. That wasn't chicken tortilla soup by a long shot. For one, very little chicken. Secondly, there were green peas in there. No corn. Third, cream had been added. And the worst thing? Thick corn CHIPS like you dip in salsa, instead of the thin tortilla strips that give the soup its name. Overly spiced with powdered seasonings, not with the proper peppers infusing their flavor and heat through the cooking process. I will not be going again. In fact, we will make our own soup going forward.

"Fine in a Pinch, Forgettable Overall!" 08-05-2025…read more I stopped in here during my lunch break during PD (Professional Development) week, my first week back at the high school where I work. The place was packed. Space was tight, with barely any elbow room between customers standing and seated, and the line to order was long. While waiting, I scanned the menu for a salad I'd enjoy, but honestly, their salad options were pretty limited and not very appealing. I ended up going with the Southwest Cobb Salad. It was... okay. Edible enough to satisfy my hunger, but definitely nothing memorable. I don't always use dressing, but I tried theirs and it was decent, tasty enough, though I can't even remember which one it was. That kind of sums up the salad: forgettable. The atmosphere during the lunch rush (11 AM-12 PM) was loud, busy, and a little overwhelming. Maybe it calms down later in the afternoon, but being in a packed shopping center right off Highway 290, traffic and parking are already hectic. Honestly, even walking to and from your car feels a little risky with how heavy the traffic flow is. Food Notes: Southwest Cobb Salad - 3/5: Mediocre at best. The black "crispy" tortilla strips weren't crunchy at all, actually stale. Big disappointment. I've had much better salads elsewhere. If you're in the area and absolutely can't find another deli or salad spot, this place is fine in a pinch. You won't hate it, but you probably won't love it either. Given the number of surrounding restaurants that offer more variety (and better flavor), I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this one. Final rating: 3/5 stars. Very middle of the road. Visit at your own risk.

He Almost put in a catfish po boy instead of shrimp po boy. The price was crazy expensive. We ordered 8 wings , shrimp po boy , kids tender , 4 tender meal, and the boudin rolls. It came out to be about $90-$95 with the tip. Probably should t of given a large tip . Oh ... I came back and got drinks for an additional $17 for 2 lemonade and Coke Zero. The food was a 4 out of five .. the flavor was absolutely delicious but my wings were really cold and their wings were half the size of wing stop. Something about the ranch was delicious.... It could have been homemade. My wife also got sweet potatoes and they were way better than the fries. For some reason the kids meal didn't let you have a sauce , for only 2 tenders and for it being $11 ... not sure why you couldn't. Before we left we also got to see a tree roach on the ground laying on its back and freaked out my girls. I was surprised to see this place had a 4.7 on Google reviews .... I was hoping for the best wings never had and obviously very disappointed. My wife and kids said... we should have gone to wing stop ... I mean.. for the half the price we would have been very satisfied.
