I visited this restaurant with my friend following a large meal next door where I enjoyed absolutely delicious birria and tacos. As this was approximately a 45-minute drive from our houses, we wished to relax and cleanse our palates before returning to town. We greeted a lady behind the counter who smiled warmly. We were guided by her when it came to understanding the menu and choosing our beverages. While we waited for our drinks to be made, we sampled some bubbles (boba toppings / jelly). There was one with lychee flavor and one with tapioca. I didn't fancy the lychee, but the tapioca was surprisingly delicious. Admittedly, it was a slow burn for me, but man... I grew to love the taste. Hmm...sooo... although the lady who took our order was sweet, my drink was not. Not just the sugar either... the entire taste of the drink was bland and flavorless. I ordered the Passion Fruit Green Fruit tea with tapioca bubbles, which was the "most ordered" beverage. I thought it might be a matter of me and my taste buds, but my friend got a completely different drink than I did, and it was also a "most ordered" milk tea. She shared my exact sentiments. Our intention was to relax and talk there. However, drinking the tea almost caused us to vomit. Because we did not want to disrespect or offend the lady and manager who were intently watching us, we ultimately decided to leave the restaurant. We even had to throw our drinks away outside, out of sight of the staff. Such a sad waste. As for our brief time there, there were only two elderly women present who left about 15 minutes before we received our orders. According to them, they live very close to the restaurant and visit it every day and stay for hours. During the time we were there, no one else entered. It is not a high traffic spot. I found the place to be very tiny, but it was quaint, cozy, and cute. There is only enough room for four people to sit and actually spend time there. Additionally, it is possible for approximately six people to stand in line comfortably. It appears to be one of those places that is only accessible to those who know about it. So, it makes sense...in my opinion, the drinks were not impressive enough to justify a large crowd demanding service, and, sadly, the atmosphere did not warrant a large crowd demanding service. Regrettably, I will not be back. Still, I do hope for much (or continued) success for them! **Our pictures are before tasting the drinks. (We WERE quite excited to taste the drinks that were boasted to be the most popular.)

Iced Green Thai Tea and a warmed powdered sugar danish. A delicious morning treat!

Enjoyed a visit to this family owned coffee stop this morning. I tried the iced Green Thai Tea - it was light and refreshing. The attendant noticed I was hesitant about the condensed milk typically added to the drink, and offered to substitute coconut milk. I appreciated her suggestion and attentiveness. The powdered sugar danish was warmed, no request needed, and quite yummy. Probably the most surprising and helpful was their table side delivery service after my order was ready. My baby and I had the best time catching up with a dear friend in this comfortable, friendly space. Looking forward to our next visit!

Medium Thai tea w/crystal boba, large Vietnamese iced coffee w/coffee jelly, everything bagel w/cream cheese, butter croissant

I was in the area and had some time to kill so I stopped in. It was a neat little shop. They had games and books available for use while dining in. There are signs that say 2 hour limit for guests. Probably because the limited space. My daughter got the Thai tea with crystal boba and a butter croissant. I didn't try them, but she was happy with them. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee with coffee jelly and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese was an extra 75 cents, and I thought it wasn't much at first, but it was definitely plenty for one bagel. I liked the coffee. It wasn't too sweet, wasn't bitter either. The jelly was chewy and had a good flavor. The drinks we picked up at the counter when they were ready, but the food they brought to us and picked up the plates when we were done. The staff was friendly and answered some questions I had about the bagged coffee they sell.

Cute little shop! Friendly staff. The definition of a mom & pop coffee shop. with your choice of comfy chairs or a regular little table with wooden chairs. I ordered the Coffee Frappe with a blueberry muffin. quick service but i did come around 12:30 in the afternoon so i was the only customer there. will come again!

When my sons and I walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile, which was a nice first impression. We let her know we were new to the shop and asked for a few suggestions. She seemed a bit unsure and didn't really offer much guidance, so we ended up ordering what sounded good to us. One son chose a cookies and cream smoothie, my other son ordered a chai milk tea with boba, and I went with the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls. Overall, the drinks were actually good, flavorful and refreshing, just what we needed for a warm day. The ambiance was really pretty and clean. I loved the greenery throughout the space, and the music made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Service-wise, it was just okay not bad, but not memorable either. Would I go back? Maybe. The drinks and vibe might bring us in again, but I'd love a little more enthusiasm and guidance next time

To be fair, the staff was hustling hard--everyone looked like they were running on pure adrenaline trying to keep up, and they were still friendly despite the chaos. No complaints there; they're clearly doing their best. The place itself is tiny and feels cramped even when it's half-empty. Tables are squeezed together, and the ceiling (yikes) is absolutely caked with years of dust and cobwebs. I couldn't stop staring up at it while I waited, and it honestly made my skin crawl a little. Menu is huge and looks promising, but I just wanted a simple London fog (it's not even listed, but most coffee shops can make one). What I got tasted like faintly-earl-grey-flavored hot water with a splash of milk. I watched them make it--they literally just dropped a tea bag in a cup, poured hot water, added a quick shot of vanilla syrup, and handed it over. No steeping, no real effort. For almost $6, it was honestly insulting. I finished maybe a third of it out of politeness and bolted. Two stars instead of one because the employees were trying and the place has clearly been a neighborhood staple for a long time, but everything else felt tired and neglected. I won't be rushing back.

Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.
