The food was pretty good I liked how filling there salad was and the chicken sandwich was nice and crunchy adding the sauce to it really added a delicious flavor. Great service! This lovely young lady insisted to help me clean my table afterwards & the place is nice to have a quick lunch with a couple friends

I made my way back to Red Chickz for dinner on a Wednesday night and oh, what a treat. The website was a little wonky for ordering but finally did it. Best value for my family of 3 was to order 10 strips and a gaggle of fries. I also ordered Cole slaw to ease the heat that was sure to come. Spice level: blaze, which sneaks up on you ! Crispiness: off the hook! The tenders were placed in a foil pan and still piping hot when I got home 15 mins later. The box of fries fed me and 2 hungry guys and we could only eat 2 strips at a time. Not to mention, reheating the next day was just as good as eating it the same day. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this gem. The place is small but the staff is super friendly. The tenders are delicious, the wedges are good and their macaroni is the best I've ever had!

Stopped by since I was in the area, and I am glad to say they do hot chicken right. They had a lunch deal and $2 tender deal for thursdays. We ordered the original sandwich and got 2 tenders to round out the meal. It came out very quickly and so fresh. The chicken was steaming and so juicy. They clearly do something to brine or marinate it as the meat was also flavorful, which is sometimes missed by hot chicken spots. The spice level sparks was nice and the next level up, bonfire, was making me sweat. I would definitely get the bonfire next time as a spice enjoyer. Service was very quick and friendly. They gave us a run down of the deals and menu as it was our first time. Looking forward for the next visit!

"The crunchiest hot chicken in Houston"- that's really all you need to know right?! Well you should also know that their tenders are Texas sized! This was my first dine in experience with this spot bc post workout treats are the best treats. I'll say my experience started out a little rocky. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly but created a less than comfortable experience answering their cellphone while taking my order. I figure it was the businesses alternative to a store location phone, but definitely awkward. I then went to grab my drink, went to throw away my straw wrapper to find that the only trash can is the back of three restaurant by the bathrooms! Operational concerns aside it was great to see those specialty lemonade/drinks, shakes, Texas sized cauliflower, kids meals and other unique offerings. Cheese tots- taste exactly how you'd expect them to taste. Chicken and waffles-surprisingly solid. I was fooled by the soft waffle (a pet peeve of mine), but paired with the super crunchy chicken, it works! Tenders- they work with the sauce! Strawberry dragonfruit drink- worth a try Mandarin cardamom-also worth a try Here are a few notes if it's your first time: *ask about the spice level. The jump from medium to hot is wild! The hot before the inferno is a ghost pepper jabanero mix! *try (atleast try) the comeback sauce without comparing it to canes. Imo, it works with the chicken!

Was targeted on social media for their $2 Tender Thursday special, I just had to try for the first time! Walking in I told the order taker it was my first time here and she walked me through the menu and provided suggestions and spice preference. Already knowing what I wanted, it was pretty easy. Choose spice level. Comeback sauce (similar to Cains). I prefer my chicken to taste good while a small kick. Spark level was perfect. Big juicy chicken tenders, crispy, moist. It was great! The potato wedges were great with seasoning. Clean inside, nice customer service, plenty of parking. Can't complain - hit all my check points.

Original chicken sandwich w/ potato wedges (Spark level hotness)

So happy I checked this place out for lunch. They have a great lunch special that isn't mentioned on the Yelp menu pricing so don't be scared by the prices you see online. More importantly, the food was AMAZING! Crispiest Nashville hot chicken EVER! Extremely crispy exterior but juicy on the inside. I had the original sandwich at "Spark" heat level and I'm glad I didn't go any higher. I like spice and it was perfect. Service was also exceptional. Bravo!

Had to check this place out on a Thursday because the chicken tenders are two dollars apiece and they are huge. They are very tasty and well fried. Now, I'm not a Nashville hot chicken type of person so I was reminded again that I do not like this kind of dry rub spice, but my friends loved it. The only thing I noticed that I would take points off was for the mac & cheese that wasn't so good. It was rather watery and I wanted to check out the original taste so I got it without any spice. The cheese curds were delish and on point. The other thing that really struck me as odd is, it's an eatery. It should be clean. It felt wet and damp and sticky, and the bathroom had no soap, and there was a paper cup with liquid soap in there for patrons to stick their hands in, which wasn't the best. (Was Too surprised to take a pic!) That said, if you're there for the chicken, which you should be, I would just order, pick up, and go, because multiple people were sneezing...even myself, who never sneezes, I sneezed like five times & there were people behind me -- multiple people sneezing and when I looked down at my phone, it was coated with like a little dusting of probably the spices that are floating around, so I would highly recommend an air purifier and a dehumidifier (industrial size) for this location. It's just too small and not that clean, but so popular and super tasty for Red Chickz not to do well...please add those things because I don't think I could come back unless I could breathe. Now, the best part was the counter service staff. They were great. They were attentive. They were fast. They knew the menu and they were friendly and explained everything. We had waffles, also, which were on the softer side but very good. Wedges and lemonade were also so good. We spent about $48 for a $10 lunch special, curds, Mac and cheese ($5 is pricey for a little cup), and single tenders -cold, spark, glow, and bonfire - mostly no spice levels to the medium spicy)

Ordered Togo from the counter, we took it home to eat. My husband said it's the best fried chicken he's ever had. It was really good. We got the cool and mild to try out. I would definitely get one more spicy as the mild was nothing! But very good!

I learned about The Red Chickz through a yelp event and I am so glad this spot was introduced. The chicken here is absolutely amazing, from the crunch and the flavorful taste of their fried chicken i was not disappointed. I was also surprised that none of the chicken had a dry taste knowing that it was chicken breast, all of it was moist and that added extra points. My favorite spice level was Bonfire, it was the perfect amount of heat, so spicy enough to feel it but not overwhelming . The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The ambiance itself is very casual and inviting, so perfect to sit and relax while you're eating and the place was clean as well. A great experience overall and I need them to open more spots throughout the Houston area.

The service was great, the atmosphere chill, and the food was even better! There are so many options that we will have to visit again. We tried the original with the bonfire. It was great, and we could have gone hotter on the sandwich. The corn ribs were seasoned with spark, and I think that was the perfect heat for those. We like spicy foods though. 5/5, we WILL be back. We want to try the honey butter sandwich and the loaded wedges.

    The Spark
    Anokhy D.

Good lunch stop by the outlets if you're looking for hot chicken. We got the Spark, which includes two large fried chicken tenders (very juicy) and well seasoned potato wedges (decent) with their special sauce and a toasted slice of white bread (fine). It was spicy and flavorful, and came out pretty quickly after ordering. I lost all phone service in that area but they saved the day with their own wifi!

I was in the mood for fried chicken and this place was exactly I was craving!! The young girl at the counter was super friendly and helpful in ordering. We ordered the honey butter sandwich with fries and a 2 piece tender with coleslaw. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy and tender inside. The fries and honey butter sandwich were also delicious! The coleslaw was too bland for my taste, but other than that , this place was really great!

The tenders pieces were huge and there was the perfect ratio of fries to Mac. Overall, I would give the Urban fries a 3.5/5. The chicken itself was a bit on the dryer side and some pieces were tough, but the coating was nice and crispy. Furthermore, the fries were pretty standard with some crisp and pretty thick. The best part was the Mac n cheese which was really creamy. I was a bit on the fence on if I like the flavor of the sauce they used though. The Bird Sauce was really sweet and reminded me of a honey mustard. I personally thought it was a bit too sweet but the more I ate it the less I was opposed to it. Also, the Nashville Hot didn't have any heat at all and I wish there was more overall flavor. I think I would come back to try a different flavor and maybe up the spice level. Service/Ambiance: Service was fine and there was quite a wait for the food (but that just means it's super fresh). The vibe inside reminded me of a fast food restaurant where you order and then never really talk to the staff again.

I'm the one that was mistaken. With a Caniac craving, I arrived past 9pm on a Sunday to the busiest Cane's I've ever see. The drive-thru line wrapped around the building. The parking lot remained full. The amount of vehicles circling the building hoping to find a spot caused mild traffic disturbances. Waze marked the lead in road as red for standstill traffic- okay, I'm kidding with that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Among all of this, the employees of Cane's stayed strong. Like a well oiled machine they powered through the endless line. They were efficient for sure, but I was most impressed by their care and customer service. This team is truly running like a well oiled machine. As far as the food, Cane's is Cane's. If you're new to this concept, you really only need to keep two things in mind. 1. No matter which combo tickles your pickle, enjoy it with Cane's sauce. In addition to a basic requirement for the chicken, it also pairs well with the fries, their Texas toast, and most any protein or savory bread you have lying around the house. Long story short, if you can handle the crowds, you've earned your chicken.

I usually get the hibachi chicken, and it is always flavorful, filling, and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a smaller, more intimate atmosphere, which I enjoy. The service is okay, nothing exceptional, but the food and affordable prices keep me coming back.

Figured it would be too late for dinner after the show so I went before and am glad that I did! Easy to find on the east side of the outlet mall and right off of the old Hempstead Highway, now 290. I was there at 5:30 and only a few people inside dining or having a drink. My server was Everado and he was great. I ordered a glass of the Imagery Pinot Noir. I was in real luck as it was Happy Hour with some great discount prices on several of their appetizers, sushi and sashimi. I decided to try the soft shell crab appetizer and it came out so quickly. It was crispy and super fresh, perfectly paired with the wine I had ordered. I love Japanese restaurants like this, especially when they aren't supper busy. You can take your time, order a thing or two and peruse the menu and pick something else at your leisure. My next treat was one of their "signature appetizers" and it was great, what was described on the menu as a tuna and salmon martini! Wow, it tasted as good as it looked and not only had fresh sashimi slices of tuna and salmon but also meaty escolar. In the center was a creamy mix of wasabi, ginger topped with some tobiko, the small orange fish roe. Talk about a real culinary treat! Next up was a special house roll called the Pink Lover Roll which was a roll with chopped spicy salmon, tuna, yellow tail, tempura jalapeno and avocado with spicy mayo, eel sauce and honey wasabi. The portion was huge and really could have fed 2 people. I enjoyed it but found the sauces over the top a bit too much. It was spice but not too hot. Glad I tried it but would opt for something different next time and surely not as large! Last thing ordered was the Hibachi Combo Yakisoba dinner entree. Had it not been for the large previous roll I ate I would have devoured this as it was fresh off the hibachi grill and full of shrimp and beef as well as a lively assortment of crisp vegetables. It came with a pleasant miso soup, the perfect thing between courses. Alas, I ended up taking half of my yakisoba home for a future lunch. The restaurant is nicely decorated, very clean and sharp. You can sit at at table, booth or at the bar, I chose a table. Restrooms were clean and easy to find. In the end my lovely dinner was just under $100 plus a 20% tip for great service so not a place you might go to casually in regard to cost but still worth the trip as everything was fresh and well presented.
