I will say the restaurant itself is a bit small but everything else is amazing. The burgers are juicy and taste fresh, almost home made. The employees here are polite and quick, and the food itself only takes 10 minutes to be made (there's a nice shell gas station next to it, so I usually order then go pump my gas) . The burgers look good and taste even better, amazing option for halal food. My family considers this a staple, my mom always says she craves the bbq burger while she's at work. read more

Hello everyone, It's game day! I stopped by and pick a cheese burger combo. The fries were great and the cheese burger was delicious, like eating homemade. The service was great, very nice behind the counter. The ambiance here is good for a simple stop and eat. Go and check it out. read more

Flip N Dip Burger - Inside restaurant - Halal Near Me - Cypress, Texas

Ordered burgers for dinner tonight for the first time here. Kids split an order of sliders. They're only complaint was the pickles ( they're weird). I had the mushroom burger and onions rings. Both were great! Onions rings were really good- not overly greasy and the batter stayed on ( a skill I lack when trying to make them myself) we will def order again. No photos since everyone ate it all so fast!! read more

Service was fast! Burger was definitely homemade an delicious! The bun topped it off perfectly! A really chill spot to grab a damn good burger! I'll be back for sure! read more

Great burger. The thickness and seasoning was on point. They didn't ask for the temp of the cook but it came out medium well and still juice. I upgraded to onion rings and a drink. The onion rings were nothing special but good enough, I might try fries next time. The loaded fries looked great but were equal in price to the burger so I assume it is a meal in itself. Overall good and will return. read more

Was seriously craving a burger and decided to try a place I hadn't tried before. I found this place about 2 miles away from home. I was intrigued after looking at their website photos and finding out that it was a Halal establishment. I was going to order online however, there was $1.75 fee to do so, so I just drove over and put my order in. Upon arrival, it was a small, yet clean restaurant. They had tables that were majority full which was nice. I ordered my food and waited about 15 mins for receive it. It was hot and delicious and I can't wait to go back and try something different. read more

Absolutely worth coming here over and over again. The burgers are so delicious, I can't stop thinking about them. Every time I'm in the area, I will definitely stop by and pick up a few juicy burgers for me and my family. The house sauce is overpriced, but yummy nonetheless. This burger joint is nice and inviting, making it a cozy hangout spot. The cashier was sweet and patient. I truly enjoyed everything about my experience here. read more

I enjoyed coming here with my work team for lunch. The burgers were presented perfectly and I enjoyed that! Everything tasted pretty good. Ordered mushroom burg, bbq burg, chicken sandwich and a classic. I think the burger meat was a little lacking in flavor so I did have to use some ranch. The loaded fries are crazy huge! Like insane! But what I feel always happens with anything loaded is, the top is full of all the dressings and fixings but the lower portion of fries were all completely untouched and soggy from the heat. Great in flavor but you probably won't finish them alone. Two to three people can share for sure but that part underneath the loaded part went to waste for us. Drinks are self serve fountain drinks or refrigerated bottles. Lots of options from the standard drink line up. Storefront is very tiny but cozy. Don't expect a crowd or crazy fast service as I think it's just two people working there being the front register and the cook? Not a terribly long wait though. Comfortable enough to go at lunch time and still sit down and enjoy. Place was clean and team members were kind. Would return. Just to add, the area near Fry rd and HWY 290 gets very congested at any given time of day. But otherwise this place has a good location. read more

Went for the first time and food was amazing! Fries were super crunchy and delicious. Chicken sandwich was huge and also super crunchy and juicy. Garlic parm chicken wings were pretty decent sized & tasted amazing! Not dry at all. Cheeseburger was huge and so delicious and the bread was soo soft! Service was great and everyone was very friendly. Place is a bit small with not too much seating. Definitely would come again. read more

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile and so we were back on the area and stopped in to eat. Very small dining area, maybe about 25-30 seats. Very clean and kept up. We ordered chicken sliders and the BBQ burger. My husband live the BBQ burger, the messier the better for him. He also had the onion rings which were crispy and crunchy just like he likes the. I had the sliders and fries. We both enjoyed the fries but the chicken to me was too much batter and kinda tough. Maybe they were cooked a little too long but just more batter than I cared for. The only other thing that was presented was the drinks. Cans and generic brand of water. Maybe they consider fountain drink machine. Might be a good addition. The girl at the counter was pleasant and helped with what we needed. My husband said he would go back if he was in the area So give this place a try if you are in that part of town and check it out for yourself. It might just turn out to be a favorite spot for you. read more

Flip N Dip Burger - Beverages - Halal Near Me - Cypress, Texas

Why 5 stars? Because the burger supersedes everything. --- --- --- I will get the bad stuff out of the way first. The fries tasted like they were frozen in a bag from the grocery store. I ate all of them because I was starving and hate wasting food, but they were pretty awful. That was disappointing. The ambiance was non-existent. It was silent and sterile in here, almost like a doctor's office. The only sounds were when the girl would come out from behind the counter to take food to a table and the swinging half door would pierce through your soul as it cried out for 10 needed gallons of WD 40. But none of that matters because of the BBQ Burger. This as one of the best burgers I've eaten in Houston. I loved every bite of it. It was super messy because it's sauced up heavily, but it was worth the many napkin wipes. I could eat this burger every day and never get tired of it. Please, oh please, do something about the fries, but Flip and Dip, thank you for existing and serving those delicious burgers! read more

Great food my teen grandsons loved the place we will be returning this weekend for burgers and fries

I was in the area and looked to Yelp to help me with my lunch choice. Flip N Dip popped up and I knew my decision had been made as I'm always interested in a new burger joint. Parking is in front of the nice strip center the restaurant is located in. Inside its a small counter service restaurant. I ordered the cheeseburger for $10 and added the fries/drink combo for another $3.50. I got the "butter" fries for no extra cost. I was told they they are French fries that are coated in butter before being cooked. That was a new one to me. Drinks here are can and bottles only. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The burger was cheesy with pickles, caramelized onions and their secret sauce with the bun and 6 oz. beef patty. I thought it was a good tasting hamburger and while it had plenty of cheese and caramelized onions it wasn't too gooey and the bun held up to the end. I couldn't taste any butter in the fries and to me were just the standard frozen out of a bag type. read more

This is definitely a great new burger joint! We tried this place for dinner on a busy Friday night & let's just say I was reallly craving a burger! The food here is 10/10! The menu is split by beef / chicken and offers a nice variation of burgers. I got the fired up beef burger with the house sauce and OMG that hit the spot!! LOL, my hubby tried a regular cheeseburger and that was delicious also! Our daughter got the masala chicken burger and that is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever tried! I'm really picky when it comes to my French fries and this place has really great fries! They're not skimpy, they're massive French fries fried to perfection! As a first time experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and food! Bonus perk - all the food is halal which you can obviously taste the difference in these amazing burgers! read more

First I want to state that I wish I was informed that only certain burgers come with the dipping sauce. When I went I ordered the cheeseburger. I didn't see anything on the menu listing that certain burgers came with their own dipping sauce, otherwise I would've tried one of them. It was when another came in to pick up an order when the owner shared that information. I just felt like I missed out on that. Other than that, I ordered the mozzarella sticks and they came with the flipping sauce. I prefer marinara sauce with my cheese sticks but I gave this a try. It tasted like the same special sauce like the sauce on the Big Mac but maybe too much mayo. But the cheese sticks alone were really good. I saw another person eating a loaded hotdog with slaw. I didn't see it on the menu but it looked like it was good. My burger was ok. The buns was soft but felt like it could have been grilled a bit with butter. The meat kinda broke apart but it was ok. I would've preferred a little more seasoning in the meat. The fries were good and crispy. There wasn't a fountain drink but canned sodas. The owner was kind to offer a 2nd can to us. It seems like the owner is still making improvements so hopefully things will get better. read more

Saw there was a new burger place just a few minutes from my house and Towne lake and we decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a welcoming person. At the counter, he took our order, and they bring the food out to your table. We ordered hamburgers and an order of wings for table, the hamburgers for juicy on a toasted, buttery fresh fun . They were very attentive and kind! Will definitely be back! read more

Disgusting and filthy. Health inspector needs to visit this place. Had old dried food caked in between the tables the stack together.

The burger and onion rings were so good. Great quick service. We will be back. It was our first time and we glad we tried it

Food here is pretty decent, specially the burgers and chicken sandwiches. They could use a little more Cole slaw on the chicken. As for the fry combinations, they are huge and have a lot of toppings. But, the fries them self could be better. read more

The pictures didn't do this place justice. The food was so good, large portions, and wonderful flavor. We had the mushroom burger (comes with a side of mushroom sauce that I wanted to eat like soup) with fries which were large & crispy. If you like mushrooms this is the burger for you. Literally the best one I have ever had. We also had the chili fries. It was like a never ending pile of fries with such an amazing flavor which was a little spicy. Portions are large! read more

I searched on Reddit for hours to find the best burger in cypress that resembles my dad's homemade burgers that I had growing up. This place did not disappoint! I am very picky, usually just get cheese and meat, but today I decided to go for the "as it comes" cheeseburger. I'm picky with my grilled onions, theirs are soo soft. No crunch, which I love. I don't get sauces, but the FND sauce was surprisingly awesome and was nice with fries but better on the burger! It tasted similar to canes sauce, tiny bit more tangy. If you like ketchup on your burger you'll like the sauce, especially if you keep the pickles on. The patty was made to order and thick and juicy! You can tell it was hand mashed. The fries brought me back to my childhood with the very simple "salt and pepper" flavor. For $5, you get a decent amount, enough for 2-3. The bun was fresh and perfect for the burger. We only had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our order. It was super filling, we barely got to touch the fries. And the restaurant/store is pretty with barstool and table seating. We will be returning the next time I'm craving a homemade burger. It was only about 10.95! 10/10 read more

This little place serves up BIG flavor. The tiny burger joint in Cypress is well worth a stop. There are just five tables and a few seats along one wall, but Flip n Dip Burger is very clean and modern and it was pretty busy during the Saturday afternoon we visited. The Classic Burger comes with fries inside it. The fries on the side we're perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The Mushroom Burger didn't skimp on mushrooms. They were deliciously grilled with plenty of melted American cheese. Both burgers were juicy and generous. Service was quick and our overall experience was great! read more

We were a group of four and decided to get the wings (two different types), onion rings, sliders that came with fries, and two different burgers. While one of the burgers was just as spicy as my cousin wanted it to be, I found it to be a little too spicy but hey at least it was just what he wanted. For me the winner was the mushroom burger. More specifically the sauce that it came with ... think au poivre but thicker and better for the burger. read more
