Absolutely amazing addition to Katy Asian Town, and one of the best barbershops - I mean Boba shops, although they might cut your hair here if you ask nicely - in Houston now has a new location over in Katy. Replacing Yum Cha, which replaced Pann Tea (both of which were amazing boba shops) is another incredible Bubble Tea outlet, and I hope that this one survives where the other two were not able to. Yum Cha is still open in Chinatown, doing well, and has new locations in the Heights and elsewhere. Pann Tea has merged into Yan Tea here in Katy Asian Town, and is still great. We were very honoured when we found out that the Bellaire location was the first ever location of Fuji in North America. For the first location in the US to be in Houston is exciting for the city, and it turned out to be a miraculous addition to the drinks scene for me personally. As soon as I was able to try the wonderful Assam milk tea, I fell madly in love. I was thrilled that they have two different varieties of black milk tea, and both are excellent. But the Assam, the richer and darker of the two, is something very special, and it's the one that I keep coming back for. I also believe it's the owner's favourite. I do full sugar, because the milk teas aren't very sweet, however the tapioca (soaked in Brown Sugar) is very sweet and gooey, a bit much for me, but not bad. They have wonderful service, both at this location and the original, where I have a lot of friends. Several employees work at both shops. I will be a regular customer for many many years because of the wonderful tea, and the excellent ownership, and the spectacular service from several of these truly lovely employees. These are Taiwanese teas all the way, and some of the best you can get. Also the decor here is cute and lovely and the shop is sweet and modern, slightly larger than the other one. But for drinks and service, it's one of our very favourites in all of Texas. Fuji in North American terms is a true unique Houston original. It's the only one (well now two) like it in the United States, for tens of thousands of miles no less, and it is an honour for Houston (and Katy) to have this spectacular Boba shop here. Great variety of unique teas and flavors, fair pricing, quick and easy service, fresh, soft, and perfectly chewy boba, and bonus for the nice, high quality plastic cups the drinks are served in! I've been going here for quite a while now, mostly for study sessions with friends or solo since it's open until 9:30 which is reasonably great for me. No complaints about the drinks so far; I've been sticking to the cheezo and citrus fruit-based selections and they've never disappointed. The place is bright, decently clean, and mostly quiet on weekdays, too, and generally gives a more homely vibe compared to the other hangout-based tea places. I'll approach this review from the perspective of an extensive worker/studier, though. Recently, I haven't been coming here often, since the electric circuit at the seats near the restroom seems to have died and the outlets give no electricity. This is a no-no for me since I need power for my laptop and tablets, and doubtlessly others do too. I *could* move to other tables, but those are taken sometimes and I prefer the privacy of the bench seats. This isn't really a problem for people who's in-and-out for drinks, or aren't planning to stay more than 30 minutes. Regardless I really like the place and highly, highly wish this is fixed; definitely withholding a couple of stars until then. read more

Came here after dinner and it was a nice spot for some sweet drinks. The interior is pretty spacious and the service was quick. I ordered the Lemon Passion Fruit Happy Yoyo and the Watermelon Passion Fruit Tea. My friend and I both added boba in our drinks to try and honestly, the boba was a little too soft but the drinks were great by itself. Out of the two drinks, I prefer the watermelon passion fruit tea- it was light and very refreshing! I also tried a sip of the Thai tea and the white peach oolong with cheese foam and the white peach drink was pretty good. I met a friend here for good conversation and tea. She ordered the signature fruit tea. I ordered the Signature Milk Tea with Oreo Cheese Foam - I have never tried cheese foam before. The staff let me have a small sample. Much appreciated. I paid about $8 for my beverage, because I added Boba, who doesn't love Boba? I noticed the Oreo cookie was crushed. I wished I had a little more in my drink. However, it was still good. One could easily walk out of here spending close to $10 on a beverage after adding Boba and other deliciousness to their drink.
