As I walked into the store, the aroma of brewed tea, fruits and caramelized boba struck my nose. The seats along the window that were attached to the wall were hard. There are so many options of boba to choose from and you can even customize your own! I ordered their passionfruit green tea medley. There was a lot of coconut jelly which I enjoyed and the bona tasted fresh and bouncy. The service was very quick and the staff were very friendly.
My bf and I came here and got the brown sugar milk tea with boba half sugar. It was delicious! Real nice inside if you want to hang out or study. Service was very good. Would definitely come back!
Their taro with sago milk tea is amazing. It's my favorite milk tea in Katy Asian town. It's not your typical taro milk tea and I think that's why I always order it. I haven't bothered trying out their other drinks on the menu but they sound good. 5/5 no complaints.
I had a great experience here. I went and got the milk tea. It was smooth, creamy, and had a great flavor. I ended up going with 80% sweetness, which I'm glad about because it was the perfect amount of sweetness. It was quiet inside of the store, and there was plenty of room to sit.
Hard seats! I guess they don't want you to over-stay your welcome. But there is a small semi-private area that is good for groups or studying. The Tea Top menu is very broad. There are hundreds of customized drink options. If you can't decide, or are new to 'boba shoppes', they have a Tea Top Top 10 Drinks poster. Their service is always quick and friendly. Tea is what they do! This not a bakery or ramen place that also serves tea. That being said -- they do not offer any snacks or pastries. Convenient ordering and reward points available in the Tea Top app.
The drinks are always so refreshing! From the fruit teas with lots of flavor to bold coffee drinks, we are never disappointed. The kids love the fruit slushies & boba! Baristas are always so friendly and quickly make the drinks. Plenty of indoor seating and even a space you can close off for a meeting.
Of the seemingly hundreds of boba spots in Katy Asia Town, this one is my favorite! My usual order is the Wintermelon Alpine Green Tea with cheese foam and boba. The sweetness of the drink is consistently perfect at half percentage, and the boba usually always has the perfect chew without being too soft. And the main reason I pick Tea Top over its hundreds of boba neighbors is the fact that they have absolutely perfected their cheese foam recipe. It has the thick texture and slight salty-savoriness that I love adding to sweet drinks, so if you're into that kind of thing, you're going to love this. The service here is also always great. Last night I opted to try their Oolong Tea with cheese foam and taro balls because I was craving the same order I'd had from another boba shop out of town. It's not listed on the menu, but this is the only boba place that offers taro balls here (as far as I know - let me know if you know otherwise!). I walked in 30 minutes to close and asked if they had taro balls, and they were about to finish brewing up a fresh batch. The fact that they were still brewing up fresh ingredients so close to the end of the night - on a MONDAY - just felt so above and beyond. It's a bit of a drive for me to get here, but for all these reasons, I'll happily make the trip. - Drinks: 5/5 - Toppings: 4.5/5 - Service: 5/5
I really enjoyed the bubble tea here! My family and I ordered Passion Fruit Green Tea, Taro Milk Tea and Milk Tea with Grass Jelly. They were all very good! I like that they make the milk teas with non dairy, lactose free creamer powder as it tasted very similar to the Vitasoy soy milk I had as a kid! Also really liked the big globs of grass jelly that was in the drink versus other places which has small lego size grass jMy husband also liked that they use real taro blended into chunks instead of the powder. Overall the staff were very friendly and informative! The vibe in there was very industrial like with cute window seating perfect for couples or hanging out with your bestie!

Sitting at a different table today and I noticed that they have the best charging outlet by far from all boba shops I've been to. Just like coworking Spaces at Lifetime Work! Except....better cuz they've got the off the menu Rose Milk tea that I get at 30% sugar (so I can drink multiples in one sitting!). I love agar boba it's super chewy and taste great. Rose suggested the Rose milk tea a few weeks ago and I'm totally addicted to it! Will be burning off all the sugar on the pickleball courts though so I can drink more of these delicious liquidy goodness!
Had a good experience at Tea Top! The menu has a large variety of drinks and everything is very customizable. The person taking my order was super helpful in helping me figure out what to order. I eventually got the Passionfruit Green Tea with Cheese Foam. I thought it was good, but not spectacular. I think the cheese foam was a little too cheesy; I may have preferred the milk foam. We also asked for a water cup at one point and they really went above and beyond--putting water in a boba cup and sealing it with a lid! Thought it was worth a mention. :)
Came here with a friend, and I ordered the strawberry matcha latte, which was a bit tooooo sweet. Next time, I'd probably opt for a lower sugar level. After maybe 10 or so minutes passed, one of the employees came to our table and said there was a problem with the milk they used in my drink so they took it from me and said they'd make me a new one... thought that was kinda sus, but I'm not having any issues w my digestive system, so we good. I signed up for their rewards program and got 10% off on the spot which was nice! Employees are kind, and overall vibes of the place are good. Parking is gonna be a hit or miss depending on when you go.
Such a great spot t to enjoy tea while chit chatting with friends/family/colleagues or getting some studying or work done. The space is spacious with plenty of seating so you don't feel cramped. I especially like the study room in the back which is partially covered for added privacy. It also has a huge glass dry-erase board which is a great touch for studying, brainstorming, or working on projects. Service was friendly and prompt. I really like the extensive customization options for drinks. They even offer a zero sweetness option. I ordered the Apline Green tea with grass jelly and asked for the zero sweetness option. The grass jelly itself has a slight sweetness that complements the unsweetened green tea. It was very refreshing and the grass jelly pieces were fun to eat. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming place with a great setup for both relaxing and being productive. read more

Tea top is one of my favorites!! The space is large with lots of seating and an office space in the back. I got the earl grey tea with a mix of boba and jelly. I love how they provide a mix of jellies and lots of it! It's lasts the whole drink and the cup is large. The tea was creamy and oh so good. Highly recommend if you're in the Katy Asian town area. read more

I have been coming to Tea Top for many years, there is something that keeps bringing me back. Maybe it is the quick service or comforting ambiance. However, what stands out the most is the consistent quality and generous toppings! I really enjoy their classic milk tea with boba or the 3Q, that is quite a heavy treat :P read more

Quick service, delicious boba, excellent ambiance with plenty of seating. Pricing is not too bad. One of the best bubble tea spot in Katy Asian Town. Avoid the Fresh Milk Trifecta if you are not a sweets person. read more
The place is nice and clean. The drinks at tea top are consistently good and I appreciate that they have hot options as well! And even the hot drinks are the perfect temperature, not too much that it burned when I got it. The sago was mildly overcooked but otherwise good. The service was great though. They gave us the wrong drink but gave us a tea to make it up. read more
1. Made in-house taro balls 2. Foam top: choose regular milk or cheese How Tea Top differs from other boba shops. The taro balls/boba has a extra chewy dense texture that I really enjoyed. The foam top! I've always only seen cheese foam but here they also offer non-cheese flavor. The milk/regular foam has a very strong milk flavor but its not tangy like your typical cheese foam. I got the winter melon alpine green tea. I like how the green tea cuts the sweetness of wintermelon. Katy Asian Town has at least 6 boba shops in the plaza. It's hard to choose which one. read more
Great place to get boba! I love that they have a self serve ordering system. Their menu was huge! We got the matcha strawberry and it was pretty good! The strawberry jam was one of the better ones I've had. The matcha was a bit light/watered down than I would liked but overall good drink! Lovely seating area too! read more

Stopped by since I was hanging out in Katy Asia town and wanted to check out all the stores. I decided to get the Sun moon lake milk tea with less sweetness and less ice. The drink was pretty good, but make sure you mix it up well so you don't end up with all the foam at the bottom. I did add boba as well since it's my to go to mix in. The service was fast and there were some people hanging out throughout the shop. Not a bad option for all the boba spots in the area. read more

It's more rural and provincial, with more space and little alcoves in hidden little places to hang out and sit, and they even have a little private room. It's done totally differently, both are wonderful, but this might be slightly more comfortable, and far more spacious. You'll definitely have a wonderful time here because the drinks are off-the-charts good and I mean really really good. What to get: Black Milk Tea, Oolong Milk Tea, Grapefruit w Black Tea, Orange w Black Tea, Watermelon w Black tea when they have it Or: Switch the black (Darjeeling) tea to Sun Moon Lake (also black) for any of those drinks for a different but similarly wonderful taste. They make some of my all time fave milk teas - and this location blends perfect milk tea with nice decor and great servers, so it's at the very summit of my list of "best Boba in Texas." It has a different vibe from the bustling one in Chinatown. This one is a little more laid back, and while it does get busy, I always feel more relaxed here. It has different decor and while it's less bright and modern than Bellaire's location, it's a little bit more rustic and sculpted and spacious, and visually appealing. Not all the seating is comfortable, but the drinks are truly delicious and that's why TT does so well, and the ownership of both locations is wonderful. They also hire a lot of really friendly employees, and we always really appreciate that. They know how to pick them. So it's probably my fave milk tea in Katy Asian Town, for sure. Now here are some rhymes about Katy Asian Town! So if the kittens pissed on your nightgown And your partners refuse to go down There's a yum silver lining Cause they're done designing Food Mecca: Katy Asian Town! There are a plethora of milk tea places to fuel our addiction to sugars here in Katy Asia. But if you must - this place is the best. Taro with Sago, order light ice. NO SUGAR. YES it is sweet enough with the TARO. You can feel /taste the real TARO root with those mini SLIMY SAGO balls . Add some GRASSY jelly to make it interesting. Inside clean and neat, including the bathrooms. Staff here are very helpful so you don't overdose on that glucose. Brought my friends here . They were ALL SATISFIED with their choices. read more

Came in here, there were 4 people in front of me, and I still got in and out within 5 min loved that! I ordered the mango green tea with tap and it was delicious. It's a more chewy tapioca if you like that which I do! I am excited to try their other things! read more
In the midst of the Katy Asian Mall sits Tea Top. Their claim to fame is the fresh fruit rather than syrups they use in their drinks and folks, the flavor is impressive. Another big plus is the ability to order and pay in advance making lines not your problem. Just walk up to the counter and find your drinks ready for you. The flavor was okay, not their fault at all just my preference. The boba pearls definitely helped with the flavor but I wouldn't try this one again. Friendly staff, chill ambiance with WiFi, cafe vibe. Will come back and try something else. read more
Delicious taro milk slush! I will be back to order this one again. I went to Tea Top for the first time time a few weeks ago, and my friend & I both really enjoyed our drinks. I ordered the taro milk slush with 50% sugar & added boba. The flavor and sweetness level were both ideal for me. Also, I noticed that the boba seemed to be very fresh (not too hard/soft), and we were given a good amount. The guy working here was very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly in answering our questions. I also really appreciate how he asked about the % of sugar, toppings, etc. I highly recommend stopping by if you are craving boba in Katy! read more
Interior is super cute and quiet. I wanted to love it more than I did. My wife got the taro milk tea with regular boba and the taro boba. It was a neat idea but she prefers the original with just the regular boba. I'm lactose intolerant, diabetic, and get kidney stones from high oxalates. Oxalates are usually pretty high in tea so there's not much I can get at a bubble tea place. I went with the Lychee slushie and the rainbow popping boba. Non dairy, no oxalates... probably too much sugar but 2 out of 3 isn't too bad. It was tasty but the skins on the popping boba felt a bit much. It reminded me of eating peanuts with the skins on when I was little. I was always spitting them out and it lessened the joy of it. Not sure if smaller popping boba would help or not. I think I did eventually get a stomach ache from the amount of sugar I was consuming. That's probably more me than the drink though. All in all looks like an awesome place to study & do work. I didn't enjoy the drinks as much as I would have liked but I'll probably try again to see if there's anything I can enjoy. My health conditions do limit what I can get on the menu though. Ideally there would be an herbal tea option that is unsweetened and I can sweeten myself with stevia or monk fruit and either almond or coconut milk. But if that's too hard to manage inventory and menu then I understand. read more
