    Coconut latte
    Sophia H.

I ordered three Coconut Lattes in the same size with the same "less ice" customization, but they came out with noticeably different fill levels. One cup was clearly lower than the other, even though they were supposed to be prepared the same way. On top of that, the espresso tasted very weak and bland, almost like there wasn't enough coffee in the drink. Overall, it lacked the rich coffee flavor I was expecting. Disappointing experience, especially for the price. I hope they can improve their consistency and quality control.

Hands down the best Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte I've tried so far!! I got their large one for $6.95 plus tax and it was so tasty and fresh! I got their large Iced Peppermint Matcha Latte for the same price. It was good, but not as great as the strawberry one. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was pretty small, but looked really nice and aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly like before.

Le Drip is one of the most legit and delicious Vietnamese coffee spots I've tried. The coffee here is seriously strong in the best way. Tried pretty much all types of flavor: egg, ube cheese, pandan and tbh they all have their unique taste. Can't decide which flavor is better LOL. I usually drink 4 shots with Starbucks cold brew iced coffee, and somehow Le Drip still tastes even stronger while keeping that really original Vietnamese coffee flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop also has a very cute setup and decoration.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the giant phin coffee display and the banana leaf tree decor -- it gives the place a fun and memorable touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is not very big, and since I went on a Saturday, it was definitely busier than usual, but the overall vibe still felt warm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you like bold, authentic Vietnamese coffee, this place is absolutely worth trying. Definitely one of my favorites.

Vanilla matcha and black sugar matcha lattes

My friends spoke pretty highly of their matcha so I have been wanting to try. They have coffee, matcha, and tea options to pick from and the drinks came out super fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is pretty small but is well decorated and has some seating![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our drinks were super sweet which I usually prefer but we felt like we could not taste the matcha. The milk and syrups seemed to have overpowered the matcha taste. My other friend ordered their black sugar viet coffee which was really strong but very good.

I was working nearby and wanted to work and connect my laptop to Wi-F. The attendant was friendly. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. It was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is not much place to sit down. There are orobably three small tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is more for carry out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom is in a connecting business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was too loud for being a coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped by the area pretty early on a Friday morning and really needed some coffee that isn't Starbucks. Decided to give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and very patient with my questions about the menu items. I ended up ordering a banana coffee , which is banana cheese foam(?) over cafe su da-definitely gave me some needed caffeine boost. They also had a steam meat bun available so I ordered that as breakfast, also pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were not a lot of space if you need to work out of there but there are a few tables with outlet access.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was able to grab an inside table since I was there early and did what I needed. Will return.

    Pandan bac siu, matcha latte
    Alice Y.

Came at the recommendation of a friend while visiting Houston from California and it did not disappoint! I got the matcha latte with oat milk and my husband got the pandan bac siu. Both were solid and we really enjoyed our drinks! Service was also friendly. The only con was the parking lot which was really busy on a Saturday afternoon. I would definitely come again if I visit Houston and if we can find parking. :)

    Mimi T.

I finally got to try this place with two friends. It was steadily busy for a Thursday late morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sitting area is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the Pandan Bac Siu, egg coffee, Viet Coffee & bun bao. The staff were friendly and the drinks/food came out quickly! I like their caffeinated society cups with the cute nutritions label. We loved the Pandan coffee the most and my friend downed his viet coffee before we even left the cafe. The egg coffee was delicious and had a strong, bold flavor! The bun bao was perfectly warm and the meat filling was fresh and balanced well with the bao. I will definitely be back!

Came here through a friend's recommendation and it was amazing!! The Viet Coffee is delicious!! It's sweet like all viet coffees and has tasty bitter coffee taste. The viet coffee was so good we came back another day! Customer service was excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were indoor seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nicely decorated inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would highly recommend this place for viet coffee!

Got the Vietnamese coffee here and it was so good, I came back another time, later in the week. It's a solid choice that offers a good balance between sweet and strong.

A must stop for coffee in Houston. The banana coffee is amazing and this was the first time having egg coffee.

    Rachel L.

Came here on Saturday afternoon and got a strawberry matcha. It was so good I came again the next day for another one and a mango coco matcha. The line gets really long. It's small and hip and some seating in a small venue. Service is nice even when it's busy. Will definitely be back!

    Mailynn V.

I loved all of the options they had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was a bit small I don't think I would recommend this place to sit and chill. Maybe a grab and go spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They really specialize in the unique Asian flavors but into coffee forms. They do have milk teas and all sorts of other drinks. The service is fine it seems like they have enough staff for the amount of people that come through. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a cute spot it's just too small to invite any other people to sit and join you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cafe 101 serve Japanese and Chinese food. There are table and booths inside as well as a full bar. We started with a couple of sushi specials... bluefin toro and Uni. Thought the bluefin toro were fresh as well as the Uni. Wasn't expecting so was pleasantly surprised. For our mains, we ordered the twice cooked pork and beef galbi. Both came as a set... with rice, side dish of pickled radish and carrots and dessert. Price-wise, it was reasonable considering it came as a set. Twice cooked pork hits the spot. It was plenty and had some to go. Galbi was decent... it's not like Korean Galbi. It was pretty saucy, sweet and tender. It was decent portion as well. Think we found our new late night spot! The lounge like ambiance, along with their diner-like menu, is a major selling point for folks and has been one of the reasons for their popularity over the better part of the last two decades. It is a bit trendy and plays music that you would think of and in a Miami lounge or a pretentious New York Club. While service is not their strong suit, the clean bathrooms, spacious seating, and semi-open kitchen makes up for some 'tudes from the staff. The menu is most definitely Asian, but blends from a predominantly Chinese menu and featuring various Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese items. The latter includes sushi, which is likely one of the only spots in the neighborhood that still has it after midnight. They have bluefin tuna and sea urchin, in which Cafe 101 is one of the only late night spots to offer it. Their beef chow fun is nice and greasy, but filled with excessive onions, bean sprouts, and various other veggies that almost take away from the noodles and beef (which was nicely cooked). Their shrimp and egg came in a nice set, which was a good surprise and surprisingly well executed. This is also a spot for Japanese curry, and even though it's not the best, it most certainly does the job. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is on point, cumin lamb is unsurprisingly spicy, and Singapore chow mai fun has a tinge of solid wok hei. (#1) I'm genuinely not a fan of their soups and think the sushi rolls are not their best work. While they also have milk, tea options, unless one is desperate, I would also steer clear of. Parking in the early evening can be an issue at Don Huang Plaza, but after 11pm, the parking options should be abundant. I would consider coming here in a larger group, especially with late night owls. ___________ (#1) Wok's essence (鑊氣)

So glad to hear that one recently opened up in Houston. Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat. This has officially won the spot for my favorite boba place.

I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. Service was really friendly and there is self-serve water available too. Lots of tables for two but they were all taken during my visit. There's a little table outside in the shade if you're willing to sit in the heat. Overall, 4.5 stars for the tiramisu-- will be back to try some more!
