Inside is super cute. It is a nice place to take photos and they have so many desserts here. The drinks are dessert based. I tried the matcha float which is basically a matcha affogato. It was a matcha drink with a scoop of matcha ice cream on top. The matcha flavor is well blended tastes like milky and sweet, almost like a milk shake. The service was also nice nothing to complain about.
Pretty good drinks and the staff is nice and friendly. Very open space as well--good for studying and hanging out.
Yum! Ive seen this drink on other instagram accounts and just curious to try. Not bad and not really sweet. But the place is really cold so being a jacket!!
I stopped by for a sweet treat and a quick journaling session and enjoyed my visit. I love the special attention to tiramisu (or more accurately, tiramisu-adjacent desserts). With so many matcha spots in Houston, I appreciate when a cafe focuses on a specific concept and executes it well. I opted for a Pistachio Matcha Latte, and took a Pistachio Tiramisu and Dubai Cookie to go. The matcha didn't have enough pistachio flavor and was too sweet, which is too bad considering the sweetness level for this particular drink can't be adjusted. But since I also eat with my eyes, the drink truly was so visually appealing that I still enjoyed it overall. The tiramisu could have also used more pistachio flavor, but it was light and not too sweet- my family enjoyed this one. The best item I ordered was far and away the Dubai Cookie. The texture was the perfect combination of chewy and soft, and it was filled with a delicious pistachio kadayif cream. I would have thought their specialty was cookies and not tiramisu based off the high quality of the cookie. Interior can use a little bit of work. Restaurant is clean but the upholstery looked slightly shabby and the plastic plant decor doesn't help elevate the atmosphere. But it was still a nice place to sit for a while and enjoy some beautiful treats. - Ambiance: 3/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 4/5
This is a solid spot to grab some drinks/dessert after a big meal. They honestly have a good selection of desserts but for that day I was there only for drinks. The decor is minimalist with several plants inside. The service is also friendly but they do take a while to make your drinks, but I honestly don't care as long as it's good. I decided to get 4 drinks. Ube cream coffee, Mango matcha, Fresh pineapple mango tea & Jasmine cloud tea. The ube cream coffee was by far my favorite, bold flavors and the coffee itself was very strong without it being bitter. The mango matcha was also solid, just wish the matcha was stronger but I do like that they added lots of mango bits. Fresh pineapple mango was fine but the pineapple syrup overpowered the flavor of the tea. My least favorite was the Jasmine cloud tea, it wasn't terrible but the tea wasn't strong, very subtle. The drink was saved by their cheese foam, can't go wrong with that. Overall, it's a good spot. No complaints. I can't wait to come back and try their desserts. I think they're good for their tiramisu.
Located in the same plaza as Honeymee. The parking in this plaza is always crowded considering the amount of businesses that has opened up in recent years. This place used to be Sunright and is now serving mostly matcha drinks. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon. They have a few tables to sit at but it can get packed. I ordered a matcha cloud latte, a regular size. I could have opted for less sugar because it was pretty sweet. The latte didn't bring out the matcha flavor. The drink was underwhelming for me.
Very cutesie inside and the staff is nice. I highly recommend the banana pudding matcha, the matcha itself is more of an earthy flavor but with the banana pudding really balances it nicely 9/10. I've never had a Croffle before and wow the strawberry cream cheese was super good, I like how the cream cheese was light. Now I have to go back to try other flavors of their matcha because honestly their menu has so many options!
I was at Bijou located at Bellaire Chinatown Center during its soft opening and I know those people posted reviews unfairly. Really, nothing official yet. I was convinced to come back to experience when they are fully operational. I love coming here. Especially hearing about how this coffee shop started as a pastry caterer. Looking at the Ube Tiramisu... Mmm... so yummy. I had it during soft opening and it was good. Today, I'm trying Coconut Water Matcha. I don't drink coffee past 2 pm but I can have teas up till 6 pm. I asked for no sugar but it came a little sweet. It was still pretty good. Not what attracted so many female clientele to Bijou. I was the only male customer at the whole restaurant.
The coffee was perfect!! I loved it so much! And my sisters enjoyed the boba. I recommend it and the service was really fast and super sweet
We saw the reviews and photos online, so decided to give it a try. We went on a Saturday afternoon, the lines were a bit longer, we waited around 10 min for the food and drinks. But the wait wasn't as bad and we were able to get a table before the food came out. So the turnaround time was quick! The drinks were great. We had the tiramisu coffee with the cake on top. I love the cake! The coffee was a bit sweet to pair with the coffee, but it was still great! Cloud matcha was great too! We are matcha enthusiast, so we tried many different places for matcha, and this one was great. The matcha was not too sweet and not too strong. Creme brûlée coffee was not bad, but it was different for us. We've never had one, so decided to try. The coffee wasn't too sweet, which was great. But the foam was a bit bitter for some reason Croffle was yummy as well. Not too sweet! We love the flavors there, nothing is too over the top sweet. So it's good for someone who wants some sweet but not a sweet tooth. But overall, it's a great place and great food as well. Also great for social media photos
I placed an order through Grubhub, and the total came out to around ten dollars after tax. I understand online orders can be more expensive, so that's not an issue. My concern is the drink I received -- it was only half full, apparently because no ice was added, but I was expecting to be at least 80% full, and I did not see creama on top either. I've attached a photo of what I just picked up. I was honestly shocked.
The Ube coffee was very good! The Ube balanced out the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee nicely The matcha cloud was great too! The matcha latte was creamy and not watered down. Small shop in bellaire with decent seating options. We didn't have to wait too long for our drinks
Heard super good reviews about this cafe for their matcha latte so decided to stop by and give it a try. Walking in, the cafe is well lit up, clean, there are some table but space is limited. There are also some benches outside for additional seating. The staff were nice and super busy with the amount of customers. I ordered the banana pudding matcha latte and biscoff matcha latte. Both drink were creamy, not too sweet, and tasted like banana pudding and biscoff. Though I am a little disappointed as there was wasn't much matcha flavor coming through. I recommend coming at night/early morning compared to coming in the afternoon on a weekend. The line eventually wrapped around inside the cafe and kept getting longer. But wait time for drink weren't too bad as I beat the crowd to ordering. Overall, not bad but I wouldn't go out my way to get it.
A spot dedicated to tiramisu treats (as well as mousse cakes, panna cotta, cookies, and croffles) and pretty drinks that is open all day? Count me in! The inside is mostly white and going for that IG "it spot" vibe. Most people were ordering their drinks that come with a little slice of tiramisu, but we were there to try just the latter! The tiramisu varieties aren't all truly tiramisu (which traditionally has espresso and alcohol), but they're called tiramisu because there are cookies or ladyfingers layered with their mascarpone cream. I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. Service was really friendly and there is self-serve water available too. Lots of tables for two but they were all taken during my visit. There's a little table outside in the shade if you're willing to sit in the heat. Overall, 4.5 stars for the tiramisu-- will be back to try some more! One of my favorite little spots to grab a matcha! I love the insane variety of matchas they have on the menu because apparently having just one or two good options would be far too easy. And if I'm with my boyfriend, he always spoils me and allows me to get 2 (one for the next day, of course)! One of my favorites is the Biscoff Banana Pudding Matcha. It's basically a dessert and a pick-me-up in one, so obviously I'm going to support that kind of decision-making. It's creamy, sweet, and with the crunchy textures, it's just such a fun combination. The other thing I am OBSESSED with here is the croffles! Easily one of the best I've ever had. They're super fresh, buttery, and have the perfect texture. But honestly, the cream they put on top is what really gets me. It's not overly sweet or super heavy, which I appreciate because I would like to enjoy my dessert without downing a whole glass of water... or maybe... a matcha? lol My boyfriend and I like coming here every now and then and sharing a croffle (because apparently we are capable of sharing things), and we love the indoor and outdoor seating areas too. It's such a cute little spot to hang out, grab a drink, eat something sweet, and just chill. Now for the one downside: the parking. If you know, you know. The parking situation is... less than ideal, especially considering this is Bellaire. But honestly, if you're coming here to grab a drink, eat, play on the claw arcade, and get a dessert, I'd say it's worth surviving the parking chaos. Pro tip: CALL AHEAD AND ASK IF THEY STILL HAVE CROFFLES! I learned this lesson the hard way. One time, I brought a large group of friends here after dinner specifically so everyone could try the croffles... only for us to find out they had just run out. SAD! You can imagine my devastation after hyping them up. They actually felt really bad and told us that we could call ahead next time to check if they still had any available, which I thought was incredibly nice of them. So now I'm passing that wisdom along because I refuse to let anyone else experience the heartbreak of arriving croffle-less. Overall, such a cute spot with great matcha, delicious croffles, and a fun little atmosphere. Just prepare yourself mentally for the parking situation and CALL AHEAD FOR THE CROFFLES!!! read more
I think this place is super pretty inside!! My husband and I wanted to get boba and try a new place since there's been so many places that have recently opened in Chinatown. I got a basic jasmine tea with sea salt foam and my husband got an oolong with matcha. We both liked the drinks and would definitely come back again!! read more

I had heard a lot about this place's drinks with a slice of tiramisu on top so decided to give it a try. I got the matcha tiramisu latte but got the tiramisu on the side as I thought it would be easier to eat and take to go. The latte was very sweet which overpowered the matcha flavor. The matcha tiramisu was decent, fluffy and light. They had multiple tiramisu flavors to try, and you could get them separately without a drink too. The shop has free parking in a lot right in front. There aren't too many tables, and it was a little noisy so I wouldn't recommend as a study spot. The service was fine. read more

Went in grand opening weekend. They ran out of croffles but there were a few desserts left. I got a tea and a strawberry matcha with two desserts, ube tiramisu (soft and fluffy and really good) and a biscoff pudding (really sweet). I definitely recommend this place. They have lot of parks but it gets busy so you might have to park further and walk here. read more
I tried the salted cream coffee at Bijou and it was such a pleasant surprise. The coffee itself is smooth and flavorful, but the salted cream is really what makes it special -- thick, velvety, and just salty enough to balance the sweetness. When it slowly mixes in, you get layers of flavor in each sip instead of everything tasting the same. It's rich without being heavy, and honestly feels like a little luxury treat in a cup. If you like coffees that lean slightly sweet but still taste like real coffee, this one is definitely worth ordering at Bijou. read more
Bijou has plenty of seating, tables, and wifi. A good place to chat but it is on the smaller side. My friend and I both ordered the medium matcha cloud latte and it came out to almost $8 each (on the pricier side for a medium). The drinks are aesthetically pleasing but it is EXTREMELY sweet and the cream taste is VERY overpowering! The matcha taste is not there; tasted almost like a vanilla frappe. My friend and I had a hard time finishing our drinks. Definitely ask if you can adjust the sweetness level. They also have desserts like different flavored banana puddings and tiramisu. We got the biscoff banana pudding and it was delicious! Not too sweet, great biscoff taste, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like bananas. Would recommend their desserts, but I would not come here for the matcha. read more

Went late at night, about 30 minutes before closing to grab dessert for takeout. They still had a handful of panna cotta (kiwi, strawberry), tiramisu (ube, matcha, Vietnamese coffee), and Dubai croissants. Got a strawberry panna cotta and ube tiramisu. Total was about $12.50. They were super nice and packed it in a fancy insulated bag. The strawberry panna cotta was smooth and creamy, pairing well with slightly watery, tart strawberries in syrup. The ube tiramisu was super tasty, with a nice creamy ube filling and soft lady cake layers. Definitely a must! Will have to be back to try their other items! read more
My sister and I stopped by Bijou on a Friday, and they were still offering 20% off drinks for their soft opening. We ordered the Biscoff Matcha and the Banana Pudding Matcha. The Biscoff syrup was really good, and the banana pudding topping was good as well. However, when we got our drinks, the color of the matcha looked very murky, almost like the lower-quality matcha you'd get from Target. The taste matched the appearance -- the matcha quality wasn't great, and the flavor was completely overpowered by the syrups. It wasn't a bad drink overall, but it was definitely more of a dessert matcha. If you're looking for something more earthy, bold, or high-quality, I'd suggest going elsewhere. read more
The space was pleasant and not very crowded for a Saturday morning, which was nice. For both drinks, it felt like nearly half of the cup was ice, definitely more than usual. They were also quite sweet, and the sweetness wasn't adjustable. I did appreciate the pistachio rim, which added a nice visual touch, and I enjoyed the pistachio flavor while still being able to taste the matcha. Overall, I'd order the matcha drink again if they reduced the ice and allowed the sweetness level to be adjusted. Skip the coffee. read more
This is an adorable dessert and drinks cafe in Chinatown. They have an incredible variety of Asian-inspired flavors of coffee and matcha. There are fun tiramisu flavors such as matcha, ube, Vietnamese coffee, and of course the classic tiramisu. The tiramisu matcha latte that I ordered (and the tiramisu regular latte) come with a piece of actual tiramisu on top! I asked them to put mine on the side. Definitely a decadent dessert, and a sweet treat lover's dream. The drink itself was very creamy and sweet. The matcha tiramisu was delicious, moist, and not too sweet. I'm curious to try their other tiramisu flavors and other lattes. The interior is bright and airy, with a few tables to sit. The employees were all very nice. We got a table pretty easily and didn't have to wait in line when we arrived, but by the time we left, the line was almost out the door. read more
I came here on New Year's Day and the line was really long and the whole place was packed, so I came back the next day and there was no line! They had no tiramisu boxes at all other than just the ube one even though I came in the morning, i think they're saving the tiramisu to put on top of the drinks. I got the Matcha Tiramisu Latte and the White Peach Oolong Tea, both drinks were decent. The matcha is really sweet and it kinda tastes like the Jade Leaf sweetened matcha powder on Amazon. It also tastes similar to the matcha drinks at Le Kream, but more sweet and less matcha flavor. The tiramisu was good, not too sweet but the ladyfinger was stale and melting. The white peach oolong tea was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Overall this place is really hyped and gets packed fast, so you should try it when there's a short line, not worth it if they have a really long line. read more
I got the pistachio matcha, ube latte, and the vietnamese tiramisu. I liked my pistachio matcha especially the crust filled with pistachio but still on the sweeter side. The ube latte was too sweet for my liking as well as the vietnamese tiramisu. There was a line when we came in but it did go by fast. seating is limited especially since it was so packed but if it dies down, it could definitely be a potential study spot or just to sit and catch up with friends. the only major con is that these drinks aren't adjustable which makes it very hard to enjoy if your sweet tooth isn't to its peak. I personally wouldn't come back but if you have a sweet tooth, this place is def for u ! read more
I have heard so many friends recommend Bijou to me since their soft opening. The shop is very bright and clean. There wasn't a line when we went so our drinks came out within 5 minutes of ordering. The biscoff matcha was 8.5/10 for me. The biscoff flavor blended well with the matcha without overpowering it. I liked that I could taste and feel the crumbly texture throughout the drink which was a nice touch. This one tasted a little bit on the sweeter side and was similar to a dessert. The matcha cloud was a 6.5/10 for me. It felt like a standard matcha but nothing stood out in particular! The cloud made the drink a little less sweet though. read more
I happened to see this coffee/tea spot as I was going to another place nearby for a snack. Was curious about it as I hadn't heard of it so I went in. It was a Friday afternoon and it was pretty packed. I tried the signature coffee, which is on the sweet side and extremely thick. A little too much for my own liking. I probably should have asked for them to take down the sweetness level, if it's possible for this drink. The interior of this place is new and trendy. There are a few tables inside along with a bar area by the window, but I can see it get packed quickly during peak times. I had to park a bit further even though it was early afternoon. Good for business. There is a sign up for their soft opening (which started exactly a month ago), but they didn't offer the 20% discount to my order. It's probably time to take the sign down. read more

GUUUURRRRLLLL LEMME TELL YOUU....IT WAS PACKED! Starting with the ambiance. It's right in the center of Chinatown. You could feel the high energy. But there wasn't much to the establishment inside, but the presentation was ALL in the drinks. Service was quick. The cashier that took our order was patient, kind and kept a cool head even though it started to get busy after we walked in. We technically beat the RUSH. Now let's get into the MATCHHHAAAAA :P My baby and I ordered the same thing a biscoff banana pudding matcha latte and I added ube cream to mine. I couldn't taste the flavor of the ube so I feel I got cheated out of the full ube experience , but hey #HappyHealing, Ube has really great health benefits. Overall, they were delicious, we both enjoyed the presentation and flavor of the matchas. The banana pudding by itself is really good as well. My rating...GO! We'll be back to try the other options. They had plenty of different, creative options and snacks. Next time, I'll be trying a croissant or croffle. read more

It is a cute spot -- plenty of people were studying when we stopped by, and the vibe was cozy. Service was friendly and fast. We tried several items. The banana pudding matcha latte was decent: the matcha on its own wasn't great, but once everything was mixed together, it tasted better. The matcha pistachio cookie was a big, soft cookie with good flavor. The standout was definitely the Dubai chocolate & pistachio croffle-- super crunchy and absolutely delicious. The original tiramisu and the matcha mousse slice were just okay and probably not something we'd get again. Overall, there's still room to grow since it's a soft opening, but Bijou has potential. read more
Came here during their soft opening where I got 20% off so it was worth it during that time (last week). Still need improvement but considering it's soft opening, it's fine. Lines are crazy and there's no sense of where the line begins/ends. The staffs are overwhelmed for the majority of the time and they're still trying to get things in order, in a timely matter. Matcha seems okay, not as strong as I would like but they got the smoothness down. No clumps, even from their black sesame foam on top. Next time, I would get less sweet. This was more of my fault for not adjusting but I wanted to see how their sweetness is here. Ube tiramisu - I'm not a big fan of ube but got it anyways. My friend, who truly has a sweet tooth, enjoyed it. This was one of the most popular tiramisu flavor as I was sitting there watching everyone order. It was almost all gone by 11:30 AM! Matcha tiramisu - I like that you don't choke on the matcha powder on top. Just the right amount with matcha. It's sweet but a nice dessert. Vietnamese coffee tiramisu - personally my favorite while matcha tiramisu being my second. It's sweet but not overly sweet. Taste of Vietnamese coffee and the beautiful scent of Vietnamese coffee. Honestly, best served with a hot tea. Parking is hectic in this plaza now that every unit is being rented out. Park at hmart parking lot and walk over if you really can't find a parking spot. read more

Brand new boba place in the heart of chinatown. Not a novel experience but one that is still offers well made drinks and a very nice place to sit down and chat with friends. Staff seems a little fairly new and reserved, given recent soft opening. ****Jasmine Milk Tea -- honestly can't go wrong, strong Jasmine flavors. Very enjoyable in small sips. The tea is very smooth and the milk cream is subtle. Half sugar, less ice is the way to go! *** Guava passion fruit tea -- they use real guava chunks and passion food pieces. Loved it! The fruit bits feel very refreshing but the tea flavor feels a little more subtle than I would have liked. Half sugar, less ice is still the way to go! All of the drinks here were delicious. They do lean on the sweeter side, but I personally did not mind that at all. My favorite was the Strawberry Matcha Latte, though honestly you cannot go wrong with any of the drinks. read more

The shop is cute. The coffee and dessert is delicious. It was very busy when we went even though it was almost closing time. It was our first time, and the person helping us did a great job of explaining what the offerings were and what was most popular. There was something on the menu for everyone in the family from mom, dad, college student, pre-teen, and toddler. We would definitely come again. read more
I have a sweet tooth and I love Bijou's banana pudding matcha! Definitely on the sweeter side for matcha, but I have no complaints. I also love that they have little desserts for sale. I feel like that pairs well when I'm out and about and stopping by for a drink. read more
