Milky drinks, I got the matcha with the tiramisu on the side the cake tastes like it's been sitting in the fridge for some time.
Pretty good drinks and the staff is nice and friendly. Very open space as well--good for studying and hanging out.
Inside is super cute. It is a nice place to take photos and they have so many desserts here. The drinks are dessert based. I tried the matcha float which is basically a matcha affogato. It was a matcha drink with a scoop of matcha ice cream on top. The matcha flavor is well blended tastes like milky and sweet, almost like a milk shake. The service was also nice nothing to complain about.
Yum! Ive seen this drink on other instagram accounts and just curious to try. Not bad and not really sweet. But the place is really cold so being a jacket!!
This is a solid spot to grab some drinks/dessert after a big meal. They honestly have a good selection of desserts but for that day I was there only for drinks. The decor is minimalist with several plants inside. The service is also friendly but they do take a while to make your drinks, but I honestly don't care as long as it's good. I decided to get 4 drinks. Ube cream coffee, Mango matcha, Fresh pineapple mango tea & Jasmine cloud tea. The ube cream coffee was by far my favorite, bold flavors and the coffee itself was very strong without it being bitter. The mango matcha was also solid, just wish the matcha was stronger but I do like that they added lots of mango bits. Fresh pineapple mango was fine but the pineapple syrup overpowered the flavor of the tea. My least favorite was the Jasmine cloud tea, it wasn't terrible but the tea wasn't strong, very subtle. The drink was saved by their cheese foam, can't go wrong with that. Overall, it's a good spot. No complaints. I can't wait to come back and try their desserts. I think they're good for their tiramisu.
I stopped by for a sweet treat and a quick journaling session and enjoyed my visit. I love the special attention to tiramisu (or more accurately, tiramisu-adjacent desserts). With so many matcha spots in Houston, I appreciate when a cafe focuses on a specific concept and executes it well. I opted for a Pistachio Matcha Latte, and took a Pistachio Tiramisu and Dubai Cookie to go. The matcha didn't have enough pistachio flavor and was too sweet, which is too bad considering the sweetness level for this particular drink can't be adjusted. But since I also eat with my eyes, the drink truly was so visually appealing that I still enjoyed it overall. The tiramisu could have also used more pistachio flavor, but it was light and not too sweet- my family enjoyed this one. The best item I ordered was far and away the Dubai Cookie. The texture was the perfect combination of chewy and soft, and it was filled with a delicious pistachio kadayif cream. I would have thought their specialty was cookies and not tiramisu based off the high quality of the cookie. Interior can use a little bit of work. Restaurant is clean but the upholstery looked slightly shabby and the plastic plant decor doesn't help elevate the atmosphere. But it was still a nice place to sit for a while and enjoy some beautiful treats. - Ambiance: 3/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 4/5
A spot dedicated to tiramisu treats (as well as mousse cakes, panna cotta, cookies, and croffles) and pretty drinks that is open all day? Count me in! The inside is mostly white and going for that IG "it spot" vibe. Most people were ordering their drinks that come with a little slice of tiramisu, but we were there to try just the latter! The tiramisu varieties aren't all truly tiramisu (which traditionally has espresso and alcohol), but they're called tiramisu because there are cookies or ladyfingers layered with their mascarpone cream. I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. Service was really friendly and there is self-serve water available too. Lots of tables for two but they were all taken during my visit. There's a little table outside in the shade if you're willing to sit in the heat. Overall, 4.5 stars for the tiramisu-- will be back to try some more! Check them out next time your sweet tooth calls :)
Located in the same plaza as Honeymee. The parking in this plaza is always crowded considering the amount of businesses that has opened up in recent years. This place used to be Sunright and is now serving mostly matcha drinks. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon. They have a few tables to sit at but it can get packed. I ordered a matcha cloud latte, a regular size. I could have opted for less sugar because it was pretty sweet. The latte didn't bring out the matcha flavor. The drink was underwhelming for me.
I was at Bijou located at Bellaire Chinatown Center during its soft opening and I know those people posted reviews unfairly. Really, nothing official yet. I was convinced to come back to experience when they are fully operational. I love coming here. Especially hearing about how this coffee shop started as a pastry caterer. Looking at the Ube Tiramisu... Mmm... so yummy. I had it during soft opening and it was good. Today, I'm trying Coconut Water Matcha. I don't drink coffee past 2 pm but I can have teas up till 6 pm. I asked for no sugar but it came a little sweet. It was still pretty good. Not what attracted so many female clientele to Bijou. I was the only male customer at the whole restaurant.
Very cutesie inside and the staff is nice. I highly recommend the banana pudding matcha, the matcha itself is more of an earthy flavor but with the banana pudding really balances it nicely 9/10. I've never had a Croffle before and wow the strawberry cream cheese was super good, I like how the cream cheese was light. Now I have to go back to try other flavors of their matcha because honestly their menu has so many options!
We saw the reviews and photos online, so decided to give it a try. We went on a Saturday afternoon, the lines were a bit longer, we waited around 10 min for the food and drinks. But the wait wasn't as bad and we were able to get a table before the food came out. So the turnaround time was quick! The drinks were great. We had the tiramisu coffee with the cake on top. I love the cake! The coffee was a bit sweet to pair with the coffee, but it was still great! Cloud matcha was great too! We are matcha enthusiast, so we tried many different places for matcha, and this one was great. The matcha was not too sweet and not too strong. Creme brûlée coffee was not bad, but it was different for us. We've never had one, so decided to try. The coffee wasn't too sweet, which was great. But the foam was a bit bitter for some reason Croffle was yummy as well. Not too sweet! We love the flavors there, nothing is too over the top sweet. So it's good for someone who wants some sweet but not a sweet tooth. But overall, it's a great place and great food as well. Also great for social media photos
The coffee was perfect!! I loved it so much! And my sisters enjoyed the boba. I recommend it and the service was really fast and super sweet
The Ube coffee was very good! The Ube balanced out the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee nicely The matcha cloud was great too! The matcha latte was creamy and not watered down. Small shop in bellaire with decent seating options. We didn't have to wait too long for our drinks

All of the drinks here were delicious. They do lean on the sweeter side, but I personally did not mind that at all. My favorite was the Strawberry Matcha Latte, though honestly you cannot go wrong with any of the drinks. read more
I have a sweet tooth and I love Bijou's banana pudding matcha! Definitely on the sweeter side for matcha, but I have no complaints. I also love that they have little desserts for sale. I feel like that pairs well when I'm out and about and stopping by for a drink. read more
Just in the heart of Chinatown, I've driven by this place many times. My friend urged me to try it out and recommend their Pistachio matcha". I highly recommend Bijou! I wanted matcha real bad and the other place we had planned on going to was closing so we decided to try Bijou. The shop is bright, nicely decorated and clean. It was crowded when we got there but didn't wait too long to order and got the cloud matcha latte less sweet and it was so good! The matcha tasted really good and did not have a weird aftertaste. I really like the cream that they use. I saw other reviews stating it was too sweet but I really liked it. We liked it so much we went back the following night. I finished it both times before we got back to our hotel and for me that normally does not happen. I know I will be a regular when I move there. read more

Bijou is the newest dessert shop in bellaire and I wanted to give it a try since I was in the area. They are known for their tiramisu cakes as well as their dessert drinks. I got the pistachio matcha and my friend got the cloud matcha latte. The pistachio one had a pistachio rim as well as some crunch. This drink was way too overpowering on the pistachio flavor, I could barely taste the matcha. My friend really liked their cloud matcha latte though so I would probably keep it simple if I came back read more

Pistachio matcha - 9/10 - I loved the pistachio crunch on the rim, this was on the sweeter side for me but soo good, could use more matcha tho Biscoff matcha - 8/10 - Cookie butter flavor was good and didnt over power the matcha Banana pudding matcha - 9/10 - Banana flavor was really good with the matcha Finally tried the trending drinks at Bijou and they did not disappoint I would say their drinks are more dessert-like and on the sweeter side but the flavors were delicious! The shop is cute. The coffee and dessert is delicious. It was very busy when we went even though it was almost closing time. It was our first time, and the person helping us did a great job of explaining what the offerings were and what was most popular. There was something on the menu for everyone in the family from mom, dad, college student, pre-teen, and toddler. We would definitely come again. read more
I decided to step out of my comfort zone and order a Biscoff matcha latte. I was pleasantly surprised. I figured it'd be a bit too sweet but I thought it was just right. The biscoff flavor was prominent but in a pleasant way. I thought it paired well with the matcha itself, which was decently strong. I would start off by saying the cookie was not too good since it was mostly salty. I would say it's pretty good for a dessert around here on the level of coffee tiramisu mostly more of whipped cream just the right amount of biscuits, very light coffee although I'm only tasting more of light flavor coffee but not too much maybe it's for kid friendly kind of dessert perhaps. Durian tiramisu actually has more stronger durian flavor but here again it's always more whip than the fruit itself. So far kids love the Oreo and I love the durian the best , not so much for the coffee and regular tiramisu. Price is fair not as high as other places but you get more if you want Oreo and Durian. I tried the mango pancotta which has both syrup and mango fruit so it's really nice but this place makes it good for kids not if you want a lot of rum or the super wet with strong coffee it's still missing that. read more

Bijou is a cute cafe that recently opened in Bellaire, serving both matcha, milk tea, and coffee. If you're looking for a dessert matcha, this is the place for you because it's on the sweeter side. We enjoyed the banana pudding matcha, and the biscoff one even more. Wow, it's really sweet though... I wonder if you can adjust the sweetness level. We also tried the Sea Salt Coffee, but it was actually salty. I love sea salt, but we think it was a bit much... The matcha mousse cake was good! read more

excited to come check out this new matcha spot in chinatown since I saw all their fun drinks on tiktok and social media! we got the matcha tiramisu, which was just a regular matcha topped with a heaping slice of their matcha tiramisu and the biscoff matcha latte, dusted with biscoff powder and topped with a biscuit. Both drinks were okay in my opinion, the biscoff was good but WAY too sweet, i'd definitely recommend adjusting sugar levels, 6.5/10. The tiramisu was delicious and light, 7/10, but the matcha itself was 5/10, the ladyfingers also become soggy and crumble making the texture and combo weird. However, the space is cute and well lit, not too many tables and the line goes quick. read more
New boba place at Chinatown that just opened. The store was clean and well organized. The staff were super friendly and helpful explaining drinks. They don't have much options, but I like it, less confused for me. Overall, the drinks are on the side of sweet. I had to get 50% sweetness level, but it was still tasted overly for me. I highly recommend pistachio or banana pudding matcha. The biggest complaint for me is the price. Their price is range from $6.50 to $9.50. I would comeback to try more! read more

Was not bad. I need to come back and try their croffles. The panna cotta was good. Was supple and creamy the blueberry syrup was also not too sweet for my fellow Asians. The pistachio matcha was tasty. I wonder if they use the pistachio butter cause it was super yummy when you mixed together. The tiramisu's were OK. Came here Friday afternoon and the place was busy! They're still in their soft opening phase, so I didn't have high expectations regarding the service but I thought they were great about timeliness of the drinks. There's a lot on the menu - coffee and matcha drinks of course and a lot of specialty drinks you can't find at just any cafe. I was surprised by their dessert menu - there's croffles, different varieties of tiramisus, and more! We ended up getting the Tiramisu cream vietnamese coffee and the banana pudding matcha latte and the vietnamese coffee tiramisu. The banana pudding topping on the matcha latte was so good, but the matcha latte itself was overly sweet, so I'd ask for less sweet next time. The tiramisu coffee was strong as we expect Vietnamese coffee to be, but also overly sweet, so sweetness is definitely something to beware of because we like sweets but thought these drinks were sweeter than most Asian-owned cafe establishments. The Vietnamese coffee tiramisu was alright...the ladyfingers didn't seem like they were soaked properly and were still very hard, so we wouldn't get it again. All in all, it's a good place to hang out with friends after a meal and try some decadent drinks and desserts. Parking can be tricky since this plaza has become so busy and it's located where Sunright used to be. P.S. they're doing 20% off purchase during their soft opening hours. read more
Pretty decent dessert shop in Bellaire. Took over the old boba tea place that was in this location before. Interior is pretty clean. Good amount of drinks to order from ranging from Matcha, coffee, milk teas. They have good tiramisus as desserts here (many flavors) . My go to drink is the banana bread pudding matcha with 25-50%. Drinks take a little while to come out. read more

Stopped by for the grand opening and loved everything we tried . I ordered the pistachio cream jasmine milk tea and you can definitely taste the pistachio and the jasmine tea was very fragrant. Added bonus of the salted bit of roasted pistachio as a topping nice mixture of sweet and salty and nutty . My daughter got the matcha coconut water and she liked hers also . We also got the biscoff tiramisu and that was the show stopper for us lady fingers was not too over soggy still had a nice dense texture and the cream was smooth and so good . My friend and I went during Soft Opening but this place exceeded our expectations! I got the Crème Brûlée Viet coffee and wow, I have nothing but good things to say about this drink. The viet coffee tasted like the ones I can get on the streets of Vietnam. Truly delectable! The hints of Crème Brûlée balances out the strong original flavor coffee. My friend got the Matcha Cloud Latte, and she said it was amazing. The service they provided was great, and the space is soooooo cute! read more
