Loved this place and the staff! We stopped in to order a few coffees. Tried one of the specialty maple lattes which was very good and not overly sweet either. We were going to order a couple iced americanos and the owner gave the recommendation for us to try the cold brew. Letting us know if we didn't like it they would make us something new, so we gave it a shot! He let us know that they do a 1:1 ratio so it's stronger which we appreciated. Coffee was delicious and they even offered a top off after adding our cream! The friendliness in the staff is next level and the coffee is delicious. We also grabbed a couple treats, cinnamon rolls and a danish. Delish! Place is very cute. Not a crazy amount of seating but there are a handful of tables and counter type seating by the windows. read more

Upon entry very odd layout. The back prep area seems very large with a significant amount of open space. Whereas the customer seating area is fairly small and limited. Access to the establishment seems to be one way which I believe I failed during my exit going back out the way I came in. Parking is a little funky seemingly to make best of that space they had available during purchase of the lot. Order my standard large cold brew with a splash of cream/half and half. The cream is provided for self serve so that omits the failure of the staff to over cream the beverage. The price for the 24oz is well above the average at over $7 after tax. The Cold brew is average. Nothing to the point that would make me justify the trip for a $7+ beverage when I can get more volume of cold brew and needless to say better tasting at a price point just over $5. ALSO they do NOT accept cash which is crazy and another reason to make a pop in undesirable. All in all it's worth the try and the taste. The staff were friendly enough. Offered to "top off" my cold brew once I added my cream/half and half. However, I think if I were to come back it would be to explore the menu beyond the pricey coffee and try the "dirty" beverage options. read more

Such a cute coffee shop! I loved the decor and overall design of the space. It has a really welcoming and cozy vibe. Everyone working there was so warm and friendly from the moment we walked in until we left. The staff and owner were all very attentive and kind and I really appreciated that they told us to let them know if our drinks weren't perfect so they could fix them. They also have a great selection of drinks beyond just coffee including different matcha options and dirty sodas. They have a great food selection too with a variety of cookies and pastries. We got the savory kolaches and really enjoyed them but I forgot to take a picture of those. We went inside to order and the wait wasn't long at all. They also have a drive-thru which was busier than the inside line, but it's a weekday morning so that's expected. Even so, it looked like the drive-thru was moving pretty quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend checking it out. I'm always happy to support local businesses, especially new ones like this. Had high hopes for this place but experience was mediocre. First thing, parking was hectic. Between people trying to line up for drive thru and try to park to walk inside, was very chaotic. Would not be ideal if needed to get quick coffee and run. Secondly, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Therefore, really wanted to like this place. However, the drinks fell short. We had espresso drinks, which the shots were acidic... staff did not look experienced in pulling espresso shots and both drinks the shots were sour. The flow inside was not ideal either as you enter, order the drinks in the center... pick up drinks on the left.. but the straws and door exit is back to the right. Which now you would have to walk through the line of people waiting to order their drinks. read more

Stopped by Cowboy Coast today and tried a latte. I had really high hopes for this new spot, the branding is super cute and the concept is fun. I ordered the Banana Boat Iced Latte. The cold foam was great, super creamy with a really nice texture that sat well on top of the drink. Flavor wise, the espresso leaned a little on the acidic side/sour, so I think the baristas could benefit from a bit more training to dial in their shots. Overall, I'd give it a 6.5/10. I'll definitely be back to try a few other things on the menu, because the place has a lot of potential. I'm hoping that as the weeks go by they can continue to hone their craft and really elevate the customer experience. read more

I got their iced small matcha and it was not good. The staff did offer to add anything to the matcha to fit my preference when they handed it to me, but there was no saving it unfortunately ($7). My friend ordered a specialty matcha with oatmilk and theirs was even worse ($9)! It just tasted like milk, and I could tell the matcha wasn't quality (esp for the price, and as someone who has tried several matcha brands and been to Japan). Also, after my friend ordered, they took awhile to acknowledge me and take my order even though I was right at the register waiting for someone (after having stood off to the side thinking of what I was going to get). I didn't expect great matcha at a place like this, and was thinking about getting a fresh tea instead, but the lack of help, iced option, and information about what kinds of tea made me just order a plain matcha. read more

Really didn't want to leave a bad review on a new business. Tried to overlook a few things but there was several issues.. I ordered a banana boat latte. It is very small. And cost me nearly $8. I could overlook that if quality matched -- however the baristas need further training, I couldn't drink my drink with getting a bunch of coffee grounds in my mouth. Ruined the drink for me. Next, I asked for no banana slices on my drink, the barista was kind of snarky and said that it doesn't come with that anyways, despite the menu clearly saying it does. At the window, she read back my order with "no garnish" I informed her I'd still like the cookie crumble but she still gave me my drink without any garnish. I hoped this place would be good as I'd rather support a family business than a corporation but that wasn't the case. Leaving Houston to go out of town real early with our young child and food and service was great! I will say that space inside and out is tight and it was busy so we almost couldn't come as there was no parking. Drinks and food were good, I got an iced chai latte which was great, and the breakfast sandwich which was nice and fresh, especially the egg funny enough. The staff was very very friendly and make you feel good to be there. They gave our kid a free mini muffin, too! Their sprinkled sugar cookie was excellent and soft. They also offer cinnamon rolls we have yet to try. Overall great experience. read more

Such an amazing addition to Katy! The coffee was incredible -- we tried the Dirty Waters cappuccino and it was perfection. We also had cookies, cinnamon rolls, and kolaches, and every single thing was beyond expectations. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and so thoughtfully done. It's also just really special to have a family-owned, local coffee shop in Katy. The atmosphere is welcoming and you can tell how much heart went into creating this place. I'm not gonna lie I absolutely love this little Family Owned and Operated business me and my man came over to get some coffee on the 12th while my car was in the shop having some work done just down the road. We spent a good hour and a half in this little shop just enjoying it. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted warmly by the girls that were there working. Our order was taken with a smile and thank you and it took less than five minutes for our drinks to be made. I ended up going back to get a cookie, the Prairie Princess, needless to say it was gone in 2 minutes. We ended up coming back today, Friday the 13th and got the exact same experience with different staff members working today. Now I don't live here just yet and am just visiting on military leave but I'd like to say that they are doing an amazing job, and to the girl whose day I made yesterday and who made my day by giving me one of the best drinks I've ever had, you are doing an amazing job sweetheart I literally have nothing bad to say about the business and will be making it my day to day coffee shop once I move here to Katy if I could give more than 5 stars I would read more

Decided to give cowboy Coast coffee a try got there about 5:40 PM on a Thursday walked in the front door and was told that the inside was closed and then I could go back out and get in my truck and go through drive-through. Well, if the inside is closed, why wasn't the door locked... bad first impression. So I left without a purchase. read more

It's a darling concept but the "coffee " part gets lost in translation. Service? Friendly and sweet. Variety? Lots of options. Pricing? On the high side ($1 for a mini-kolache). But the coffee is lackluster and weak, watery, lacking flavor of the roast. Maybe as time goes by the issues will get worked out! read more

I love this new coffee shop! And my kids love this new coffee shop! I got a Matcha latte, a latte and two of the dirty waters for my kids and we loved everything! My son got a cinnamon roll and it was so good that he refused to share it with anybody! It's very clean and very friendly. I'll take pictures to add to the review next time I go in because it's adorable! The service was wonderful, and the owners are very conscientious and thoughtful when it comes to their customers.
