This place is pretty big and has lots of seating inside, which makes it perfect for getting work done. They also have sandwiches and snacks, and everything looked really good. I got the Aloha and the Kailua coffee, both half sweet with 2%, and they were really good, not too sweet but still flavorful enough to taste all the different ingredients. I really like cinnamon, so the Kailua was especially good for me. Service was good and friendly. I'd definitely come back either to try more drinks or just to study. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops! This is one of two in the area. There are other location, with a slightly different name, is in Cinco Ranch, but this location is my favorite. They have plenty of seating, the AC works, friendly staff, strong Wi-Fi, and great drinks. One of my current favorite drinks is on their seasonal menu, iced strawberry Matcha latte with coconut milk. I'm not ashamed to say that I go every weekend to get my fix lol the first time I had it was probably the best thus far. I'm not sure what the barista did exactly but that was the best Matcha latte I've had. They have some other really fun tasty lattes on their seasonal menu like the lavender chai. There's also a latte made with taro and when that has lavender and rose in it I believe. I'm not a big coffee person so I really appreciate when coffee shops do teas they're just do. This location has restored my faith in Matcha! Until I figure out how to make perfect iced Matcha at home, this is where I'll be every week. read more

If you're out in the burbs and looking for a good go to coffee place, I would recommend Kona. This coffee shop (not to be confused with the roastery) sits on the corner of a shopping strip in a still developing area of the Katy/Fulshear area. The clean and simple look gives this place a nice cozy vibe despite it having a large open space with plenty of sunlight. I love that the area just felt good with plenty of table and seating available. Now for the coffee- they have a few different and unique lattes they offer. I got their seasonal Cupid caffeine which was an iced americano topped with chocolate strawberry foam. It was pretty delicious. Their house coffee is pretty decent as well, but I think I prefer their lattes. I'm also curious to try some of their premium beans. I would have tried it this past time, but the price tag was a bit steep at $9 for a drip of their special beans. I opted for the latte which was around $6.50 and a bit more of a palatable price. What got me really excited about this place was their musubi offerings. Alongside spam, they had a few other offerings like sausage and egg and salmon. While the salmon felt almost like a giant nigiri, I still liked their musubis because it was a nice touch to have as a good option. I will say that the portion size is a bit smaller than I'm used to for a musubi but taste was still pretty good. If I'm in the area, I would come back again. I think it's good to make the trek at least once to try it out! read more

What a nice surprise to see a pretty decent coffee place with good amount of ample seating, extended menu of coffee and a healthy selection of food. The faculty itself is clean and simple and the vibes do scream of Hawaii. We did some studying and just hanging out time here on a Saturday morning and loved our experience. The pricing on food seemed to be on the higher end of things and doesn't seem to be justified. But either way, I stuck to my coffee that I enjoyed. It wasn't mind blowing, but a good standard and staple. They have musubi as part of the menu that dictates an enjoying supplement to my coffee. I love this place! It is perfect for getting work done and they offer wifi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I usually get their chai latte or dirty chai latte with oat milk. A little hidden gem in the Fulshear/Katy area. It is worth checking out. Customer service is an A++++. Drinks were great too. Highly recommended if you like something sweet and cold, the toffee mocha. This is delicious without being cloyingly sweet. Gelatos were rich too. The coffee Kona flavored gelato was absolutely decadent. They serve sandwiches here and I was surprised to see they have spam musubi! As a coffee enthusiast, I'm very picky about the quality of the espresso at a coffee shop. I have visited Kona twice, and I ordered an iced latte both times. The drink was so overpriced ($6 for 12oz) for its blandness - all I could taste was the nut milk. Asides from the coffee, everything else was great! The interior was absolutely stunning. The space was clean and spacious, with lots of indoor plants and natural lighting. It actually made me feel like I was in Hawaii. The staff was friendly and welcoming. All the pastries and desserts looked very good. I tried the blueberry scone, which was pretty decent for $2.50. Kona would have been my go-to coffee shop if I had liked the coffee. I came here twice and the first time I had matcha which I thought was decent but was not super memorable. The second time I got the Kona ocean and I loved it! The coffee flavor was strong and it also had a citrusy flavor but it was very subtle and not at all overpowering. I was hospitalized after getting Kona! I had a whole conversation with the barista before ordering that my coffee had to be dairy free. I was very adamant about it , the barista even confirmed that she would make it dairy free. About 5 minutes after taking a few sips of my coffee, I had a a terrible allergy reaction. We called kona about 20 minutes after we left to confirm that the barista used dairy free milk .. her response was "oops I forgot and used regular milk" . The same barista that we discussed dairy free coffee with was the same barista that made our coffee. We were the only customers at the time, so it's not like they were in a rush or got my order confused. This mistake was unacceptable and could have cost me my life. The barista was wreckless and careless. They need to learn to be more careful! Because of this, me, my family, and friends will never return to kona !!! read more

The red velvet cake was pretty good, but the icing made it obvious that it may have been in the fridge a few days. I was in the area and needed a place to study so I stopped in. This is a cute coffee shop, with a beautiful clean interior. Lots of faux plants, wood tables and chairs (not very comfortable to sit on for an extended amount of time), bright and modern. Service was great. The barista took time to make some recommendations since this was my first time here. I ordered a white chocolate mocha. It was good, a little on the bitter side. My biggest complaint was that the music they play, while relaxing, is very loud. I had my earphones in and the music still took over the sound of my lecture. The A/C also blows cold here, so bring a hoodie if you get cold easily. Overall a nice addition to the area, and I'll be back to check them out again. read more

I want to love this place so bad. It's cute and close to my home. The people are friendly and the breakfast sandwiches are so good! My coffee machine went out this week so I've been hitting it up. Day one hot latte- could only taste milk, no coffee. Next day- good my husband went these two days so I can't speak to the speed. Third day they got the order wrong and when I told them at the window, they just kinda looked at me and smiled. Not apologies or offering to remake anything. But my incorrect coffee and my husband's black coffee were luke warm and I had to wait several minutes while I watched the baristas talk.
