What a complete pleasure. The empanadas were incredible. Truthfully they were simply incredible. All of the liquor is top shelf if you so desire, and again, the service is a huge compliment to the lovely ambience and good food. I have every intention of returning it's jampacked with television so obviously it's an incredible sports bar, which by the way the manager came out and catered to our taste for the screen directly in front of our table. For a humble cuisine and just a sports bar this is truthfully, a first class experience. I have no doubt that I will return.

It's the kind of deal that keeps the good vibes going all night and makes you want to stay for one more round. The real star of the night, though, was the Monte Southwest Chicken. It came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was on point, the chicken was juicy, and everything just worked together perfectly. Honestly, it was so good that I didn't even think to take a picture--by the time I realized it, the plate was already clean. That should tell you everything you need to know. Great food, great drink specials, and a solid Saturday experience overall. I'll definitely be back for the brews and that Monte Southwest Chicken again.

The restaurant is very clean. The bathroom has a code in order to get in which is a different way go. We got bacon cheese burger with tots and hickory burger with fries. I really wanted a fried chicken sandwich but they only have grilled chicken sandwiches. They offered to use chicken tenders but I declined and went with a burger instead. Ketchup is kept cold. I like that. Bacon cheeseburger was fine. The burgers appear to be frozen patties. The bacon was salty and cooked well, not too crispy and not floppy. The lettuce was shredded, could've used more. They put both mayo & mustard on their burgers. The hickory burger was ok. You couldn't really taste the bbq sauce. Tots were cooked extra crispy. Luckily that's how I like them but most customers probably would've preferred less crispy; like my husband. The crinkle fries were also a little too crispy for husband. Not too crispy for me. Overall the meal wasn't bad. It's what you'd expect for a small family grill. Fairly priced for the economy we are in. Two combo burger meals ran us $30.

That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

It was self seating but the way the rooms are split up, we weren't 100% sure where we were allowed to sit and no one was in the front greeting anyone as they come in so you couldn't really ask questions unless you go to the bar first which was located towards the back. The tables were all dirty so we picked the least dirty table which still had crumbs all over it but we just tried to wipe them away as best as we could. The customers who came in after us picked the table next to us which was dirty as well but their server went and wiped it down for them which was nice. Our server was kind and answered all of our questions and we did inform her it was our first time so she suggested a few appetizers and we started with French Onion Dip. It was TO DIE FOR! The tortilla chips it comes with were perfectly crisped and salted and it hit all the right flavors. The food? Oh my word. The servings are MASSIVE. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak with a side of onion rings and it did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken Cobb salad with a side of their Brussel sprouts. The chicken Cobb salad came with two small scoops of chicken salad and it was so light and refreshing and nothing like any other chicken salad I've ever had! Our server brought me a little bit of Parmesan cheese to top off the Brussel sprouts with and it was so good. All in all, the food was a hit! I wish I remembered to try the broccoli and cheese soup so we will be back in the future. Definitely recommend. Napkins and drink sticks are self serve. I had to ask for a knife since my friend and I were sharing our sandwiches. Maybe put more utensils at the self serve table? The place was clean and there's an outdoor area too. The lady was nice and helpful. The way to the bathroom was iffy. The light in the small hallway was out and there's three doors. Left was the actual bathroom, front is a closet (which I didn't know and opened it bc it said "vacant" above the door knob), right is kitchen. Maybe reword them a bit better? I went in the front one bc I thought there was two bathrooms and the front one was slightly open... There's only one bathroom fyi. Now on to the food. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered something small. The honey chicken bite was amazing. It was a toasted bread with crispy and juicy meaty chicken, with a slight hint of honey butter on the inside. The chai was very creamy but I would prefer stronger tea flavors. The patty meal was so good and dense. Also, they were super fast on bringing out our food. It's weird that we were the only ones there because their food was amazing. This place is also halal and there's free parking in the front.

When I pulled up I could see the employees from outside the window. One was just standing near the kitchen, the other was wiping the counter and then proceeded to sweep. I was waiting for closer to the time my order was supposed to be ready which was a few more mins. After a while I decided to head in and see if it was ready since no one seemed to be working on anything and it was empty. The employee put the broom down asked if I was ready to order and then proceeded to the printer once I told him. He immediately grabbed a mixer cup so I asked if he was planning on washing his hands first since he just finished sweeping. He said oh yes ma'am and proceeded. Idk why this is something that we need to remind ppl in the food industry but I am certainly glad I was paying attention. While the milkshake tasted okay idk if I'd return.

There was nobody at the register however. There are two kiosks but I refuse to use them. This is just anyway to avoid hiring. I had a number three which is two Chicago's with fries and a drink. My wife ordered a fried CHICKEN sandwich with cheese and bacon. She also ordered fries and a shake. The order was stamped at 3:44. At 4:03 our order was finally ready. They put the bags on the counter then made her shake. When she opened her sandwich there was her cheese and bacon on top of a HAMBURGER! After waiting 20 minutes they had to remake her meal. Meanwhile my dogs and fries were cold. In all fairness the manager refunded our money but a $33.00 meal in a very slow restaurant should have been correct the first time. All that said, the quality of the dogs was fair at best. The fries are crinkle cut and from frozen. I have had better Chicago dogs at James Coney Island but they have closed several stores close to us.

The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the foods. It's American food, but they do a lot of fusion, so there was something for everyone. The cheesecake was zesty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because it let me taste all the distinct flavors going on. The curry chicken salad with chickpeas I know my husband would've loved, I ate it for him lol. I don't know what it was but the bottom of it had a dressing that made it very delectable. I was on the outside on the patio that had a large fireplace and it was so cozy, I can imagine it being very inviting during winter time. First, tonight my family and I came into the restaurant and were not greeted by any hostess or employee for about 7-10 minutes. We understood though because everyone seemed to be in a rush since it was busy. We patiently waited then we were finally seated. Our server took our drink orders first as usual, got us our drinks then walked away. We waited a good while for her to come back since we were wanting to order an appetizer, and that took forever. Once we finally were able to place our appetizer order, it took another 10 minutes for it to come out. Again, we tried our best to be nice since it was busy. Now to the meals.. we put in our order for our dishes and proceeded to wait about 30-35 minutes. There is only 3 of us! Once everyone got their meals we realized it just.. wasn't the best. - My mother ordered a customized pick 3 meal, her roasted chicken sandwich didn't have any roasted chicken, she said it was all lunch meat? And her bread was as hard as a rock. The "truffle fries" that she had to pay extra for didn't have any truffle, when asked about it.. we were informed it was just truffle "oil". What. Lastly, she didn't even receive her soup. They forgot about it. We had to remind them about the forgotten soup for my mother to finally receive it. She said it was not even good. - My mediterranean chicken bowl was..okay, but I did notice that last time I was here I had a good amount of chicken. This time.. I had barely any chicken. We received 0 REFILLS on our drinks, so by the time we ordered dessert we couldn't even finish it since we were so thirsty and the chocolate was so rich. In the end, the rush died down so much where once we sat up to go we were wondering why service was still awful when no one was in the restaurant. The manager did come to apologize, both our server and manager were very nice. They decided to take off the sandwich from our bill and remake the sandwich and soup to go. Once we got home, my mother realized the soup in our to go package was actually the correct soup, and that at the restaurant she has no idea what soup they brought her. Overall, this experience tonight has been awful. We went home thirsty and hungry.
