One of the things that I like about Jersey Mike's is that they are similarly priced to Subway these days - maybe slightly more - but the products are probably three or four times better. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. My wife ordered a fried CHICKEN sandwich with cheese and bacon. She also ordered fries and a shake. The order was stamped at 3:44. At 4:03 our order was finally ready. They put the bags on the counter then made her shake. When she opened her sandwich there was her cheese and bacon on top of a HAMBURGER! After waiting 20 minutes they had to remake her meal. Meanwhile my dogs and fries were cold. In all fairness the manager refunded our money but a $33.00 meal in a very slow restaurant should have been correct the first time. All that said, the quality of the dogs was fair at best. The fries are crinkle cut and from frozen. I have had better Chicago dogs at James Coney Island but they have closed several stores close to us.
